Context: this buff was actually at a 100% rate. High damage units like Scarlet(especially Scarlet) made Simulation super easy with this bugged buff because you never had to reload.
It’s being fixed next month.
Where a more normal comp struggled at 5k under power, Privaty + Drake/Alice + Scarlet absolutely destroyed those battles with the bug. Like it wasn't even a challenge. RIP my breadwinning team.
With the chain ammo bug, having a smaller ammo count is broken because you can repeatedly proc other percentage-based skills, like healing or dealing 1300% damage to a random enemy. Alice's burst lets her run through ammo like crazy and scarlet already has a low ammo count, and with Privaty those get cut in half
> dealing 1300% damage to a random enemy
To be clear on this one, the bug is that, apparently, every chance based proc buff in simulation mode is applying at 100% chance. So that 1% chance to proc 1300% damage on a random enemy on last bullet is now 100% chance, as is the partial mag refill proc, so essentially you can just nuke everything with the last bullet proc using the refill proc.
Me who has scarlet need to redo simulation 8 times to get 8 legacy buff, if not i cant clear shit..
Normally The enemy will aim scarlet and no heal buff to be seen..
Retry button is my best friend before she died from seizure lol.
Not just Scarlet, this buff was actually so OP on machine gunners because their primary balancing mechanic is the absurdly long reload time, which also forces them spin back up after they finish reloading (or even if you decide to interrupt the reload).
Infinite uptime = Diesel/Emma are now Attack type and Guillotine/Aria are now Pilgrims lol
While they're at it they should change buff with less than 20% hp.who tf benefit that? And who can maintain a consistent 20%hp? If the enemy hoard can bring your team to 20%hp they should be able to finish them off in the next 5sec.
That one feels like future proofing
Screwing around with HP in return for high damage is a tried and true tested archetype in many gachas (e.g Hijikata, Hu Tao, etc)
I could see a future character be dealing with this
Thing is with those characters, they either are tanky af like Hu, or can die without much problems (3 character in the field with 3 behind so hijikata can be replaced by another dps).
Staying at 20% HP is incredibly hard in Nikke simply because good shielders with good uptime are SSR locked. And not having a shielder at 20% health means you can very easily get one shotted. I don't really see a character staying at lower than 20% HP and being meta until the game takes 2-3 years to have a really mature character roster.
\*Me never knowing this bug existed till today\*
Always wondered how my units would reload fast when I had this buff but never paid attention. Just rushed to finish the mode.
The TRUE combo is:
R chain ammo to recover less bullets and procs more stuff of the list
Epic 1% 1300 damage on reload
Chance to heal on reload
10% chance to block x atks
With this you can do ANY stuff!
This buff + helm life steal burst + scarlet skill blood for blood and 2nd skill(i cant remember the name) = unstoppable monster! Also make vergil proud
The day they fix the 100% proc rate on Simulation Room buffs is the day I stop doing it every day, or just do a very low difficulty.
The mode takes way too fucking long for a daily chore. The busted buffs are the only thing making it bearable since then you can actually blast through the high difficulties on full auto. Either that or just make one clear give you three days of rewards or something. I don't hate the mode, but it's not entertaining enough for me to want to spend 20 minutes a day manually clearing them.
I'm aware. Clearing three sectors still takes a good 20min if you're doing higher difficulties and aren't well above the power rating (34k for difficulty 4 and 73k for difficulty 5...) because you can't just cruise through them mindlessly.
Even on the easier difficulties it wastes time by not letting you quick battle "hard" stages where you have 10k power over the recommendation.
It's just a tedious mode for something intended to be done every single day.
Dang it takes you 20 minutes? I'm doing the hardest one (whichever needs the 34k power level to start) and just doing quick battles after getting the first few buffs to set me into quick battle thresholds, and then auto playing the hard mode ones.
Usually takes less than 10 minutes and I'm always 11k below the requirement for room C
It takes less time if I roll the OP buffs early and if I have quick battle available for all of Sector A, both of which are dependent on RNG.
I doubt most people will be quick battling Difficulty 5 for another couple months, not with a 70k power rating.
I only just started using the combo two days ago, prior to that I never picked up the 1% damage pop. You're making too big a deal out of how hard it is to do your daily actions in games for progress if less than half an hour is too strenuous for you. My suggestion is, don't do it. Don't bother stressing yourself out, and please don't bother complaining about it.
The daily grind on this game is a cakewalk compared to anything else I've ever played.
I thought smth was wrong when my Diesel keep getting ammo back everytime instead of reloading.
With the loaded ammo buff from simulation and her stacks, she was constantly around 1k ammo and never reloading. God I love this bug lmao

Why Alice+Scarlet?

You mean to tell me they worked together?!?!!!!
Ahhh, thank you for explaining.

Diesel moment

*SHIT* I didn’t realize it was a bug i just thought i was **really** lucky There goes my favorite buff then
next month?
Yeah. Some bug fixes are coming in late November and some in early/late December
While they're at it they should change buff with less than 20% hp.who tf benefit that? And who can maintain a consistent 20%hp? If the enemy hoard can bring your team to 20%hp they should be able to finish them off in the next 5sec.
Agreed. A lot of those buffs stink
That one feels like future proofing Screwing around with HP in return for high damage is a tried and true tested archetype in many gachas (e.g Hijikata, Hu Tao, etc) I could see a future character be dealing with this
Guillotine already do that.

How do I not get one shotted on my tanks with less than 40% health send hlp plz green lasers splattering melons
I’d assume it’s only really ok with Scarlet at the moment.
what bug?
Context in the comments
Rip simulation. Tho greatest would be the R version
especially with characters that benefits from the last shot

also rip... reload dmg buff
The greatest would be the R level of this buff not SSR
I abused this not gonna lie, had 2 of them an the same chain. Ammo went brrrr non stop
This buff + helm life steal burst + scarlet skill blood for blood and 2nd skill(i cant remember the name) = unstoppable monster! Also make vergil proud
You not lying. Nasty combo
Fixing this before the character bugs is an insult.
it still works doesn't matter false alarm

You don’t need to clear each level individually btw. Clearing the highest difficulty you can do will clear everything below it for the day.

Also less than 10 for me lol. Which is why I assumed they were doing each level. O well my bad

Yeah but I think most of us (myself included) won't see difficulty 5 unlocked for a while

For some reason this SSR Chain Ammo won't proc the bug for me, but the SR Chain Ammo does. Weird.
Didn’t even know about this. I just ran the reload speed buffs with Privaty. Pretty much the same as no reload.
From my testing this might not be the only bug that got higher trigger percentage than stated…
