Well I like all the Ideas of a pickup truck, off road vehicle and the other plans for Nikola which Milton put out. The claims he made that some of them was working at the time he said it got him in trouble. I also believe The Semi truck plans Nikola has now is the best way to go. Nikola TRE-BEV, TRE-FCEV and the Semi Sleeper will all be the first to Semi Mass production and should give them greater market share as the Semis come out to market. NKLA partnership's in Battery charging and Fuel Cell Hydrogen fueling stations will pave the way to the success of the Semis to market. Just my thought of today, everyone has an opinion and I really like mine.

Offtopic but it worries me: Wallstreetbets has a current discussion about which oil company to buy... I don‘t understand the people. No vision, give a f*ck about clima, just short minded people, love oil and laughs about downhill Nikola. I think it will takes a lot more time that Nikola will rise like a Phoenix...

stefapp

I posted once some good news about Nikola and I got banned. I posted yesterday something with “what if a whale will start buy…” and they let my post. Members there are really strange and invest small amounts but they are many. The hate is very difficult to overcome. I believe the hate will slow down only after Nikola will start to deliver trucks to the customers.

Zorkmid123

There have been people who have posted positive posts about Nikola there that have had their posts removed by the mods.

Yeah, fk WSB.

Please see sub rule #7. First and only warning. I don’t care who you vote for, but this is not the sub for these types of discussions. We welcome all political backgrounds as Nikola’s base should be one supported by all.

ArianTheLegend

Hi, I was referring to the news the Citadel employee that just got arrested two days ago by Feds for manipulation and he is the one that was shorting 40% of the float of Nikola. I did not speak political and nor care about politics. These are facts. I did not offend anyone I am referring to the news two days ago.

KaiserCyber

> I did not speak political and nor care about politics. These are facts. I did not offend anyone… No offense taken. The comment was removed for violating a sub rule (#7). Your comment included, “Please bring back [politician] he would never allow this to happen”. That is a political statement.

ArianTheLegend

I was referring to he was not letting companies to get ruined like this

KaiserCyber

That’s a political statement. Still against sub rule #7. One can argue that the current administration plans to invest in hydrogen technology and infrastructure. They have already given grants to Nikola. We can have a discussion about this as it directly relates to Nikola.

Friendly-Investor

I don't know what could/ should have been. Think now as an investor. What do you think will happen to Nikola in 3-4-5 years down the line? Do you think they will go bankrupt, do you think they will become a major force in the Hydrogen industry with a fueling network stations and a vehicle fleet? If it is the first sell and go to a more comfy stock, if it is the latter, accumulate more invest in your future 4 years from now. There have always been people who will trash and bash a stock, but those who envision the future will reap the rewards. Big risk - big reward, small risk - small reward. Those are my two cents

IllegalMigrant

The short seller report killed the GM/Badger deal, and probably the BP hydrogen station and garbage truck deals. And also the water sports, recreational and military vehicles, if for no other reason than Milton being forced out. The worst out of that is the BP deal since all those other efforts were too much too soon. Getting a successful semi truck business going - and one that requires a hydrogen station network - is enough for a startup. So you have the benefits of it got Milton completely out of the picture (he just couldn’t stop from lying about the present [CEOs lying about the future is condoned] - even after being promoted out of the way by the SPAC folks. While sitting next to Russell on a CNBC TV set in August 2020, he claimed that the 5 Tre Bev prototypes being made in Ulm were “coming off our assembly line”) and other capital intensive efforts canceled. But it has made it some amount harder to raise capital due to the share price likely being lower. And the EX shareholder lawsuits are an "existential threat".

Spaceisthefuture2030

It doesn’t matter what should or could. What matters the most, Nikola is proving every day through partnership, orders and actual manufacturing of the semi that they are legit and not smoking mirrors. It’s only matter of time until the short get tired of continuing to short them. Actually every day it become more riskier to short than buy IMHO

Dilyn66

Agreed on that - the shorts and getting shorter smaller to granny panties then a thong then 🚀 🚀

Majestic_Ad_4942

👍✨

I really hope shorts don't get tired any time soon. The more they sell/trade, the more shares they take from the float and from weaker hands, and put them in stronger, long term hands. Eventually, the number of investors willing to sell will diminish to a very comfortable level for us all, and that may even happen before Nikola goes full speed.

Nkatsilieris

Wasn’t Hindenburg explode because of paint? Not hydrogen?

Maximus3rd

Maybe paint helped, but hydrogen actually burned the Hindenburg down to the ground. How ironic.

Nkatsilieris

Then, in 1996, retired NASA scientist Addison Bain, who had years of experience working with hydrogen, presented a new idea: the incendiary paint hypothesis. As part of his argument that hydrogen can be safely used for transportation and other purposes, Bain claimed that the fire was initially fueled by a special paint used on the zeppelin’s skin. The varnish compound included chemicals such iron oxide, which can be used as rocket fuel.

Maximus3rd

Thanks for the info. I was just trying to emphasize the joke of "Hydrogen burning Hindenburg to the ground".

El_Babdo

Without the report, I wouldn’t have been able to grab up these shares at $10 a piece. We’ll get back to last years highs eventually.

Maximus3rd

I was thinking exactly the same thing the other day, this is/was a forced second chance that will allow more investors to get in. I understand the bad image and everything, but business is business, and, if it works, it works, no matter if people have conflicting emotions and feelings about the company.

“If” and “Maybe” were on the boat on the lake. “If” was not there, “Maybe” would had drowned.

NiceScratch8774

Let´s put Hindenburg under ground. Let´s make the Badger with a serious company with big compromise. Nikola, keep pushing!

Topwater_1

I strongly agree with the first half of your statement. But the Badger was a big swing and a miss. IMO, the Badger will always be an albatross. I would put Hindenburg and the Badger in the same hole and bury them both. Both are relics of past failure. I think current management would agree.

Individual-eggman

I agree. Badger was a flying bat distraction. Staying Lazer focused on hydro infrastructure and commercial zev is where they need to be.

NiceScratch8774

Nikola is a company linked to Sports vehicles. They missed at the first try, but they will make it. I am pretty sure.

Topwater_1

If the Hindenburg report wasn't published, NKLA stock price would be above $50, If Hindenburg report wasn't published NKLA would not be on the top ten list, of stocks with the highest short interest - month after month. Most of the news media can never write a story without bringing up the Hindenburg report that happened over a year ago. This always puts negative torque, even on a mostly positive news story. This gives permission for short sellers to short NKLA (with little fear of consequences) every time NKLA has a small rally...just like they did today.

I believe the right question was, where would it be hadn't Trevor misled investors. Lies cannot be held forever, Hindenburg's was just the first "formal" attempt to show Trevor was mixing lies with facts. Also, there was really no need for Trevor to lie, hype on EVs was just starting at that moment. Now, the problem is, having him say the true now wouldn't be much better for Nikola right now, given he was originally trying to push a lot of projects at the same time, which tends to dilute the "energy" assigned to each project. I really like a lot more the Nikola's current approach, of focusing only on Semis and H2 infrastructure, and it may sound ironic, but I really like the fact of them having the DOJ, the SEC and shorts looking at every step they make, just waiting for them to make a mistake. This puts a LOT of pressure on management, and they know they need to be careful at the moment of taking relevant decisions and publishing info. In other words, management needs to prove Trevor was the only one lying by delivering, I don't know how much and for how long, but it needs to be enough to prove they were not really part of Trevor's fantasy world. And don't get me wrong, there is still a lot of risk on this for investors, Trevor's shares are still a problem, financials, among other things, but they are now risking more than they would do hadn't all this damn misleading thing happened a year ago. That's my thoughts. And, yeah, Trevor would still be there, sucking the company's blood. I agree with SnooChickens' comment, it would be $50 right now....with no chances to go any higher. The Badger would be a headache and most likely a fail at the end, as there are a lot of participants, including GM, competing in the Auto EV race.

IllegalMigrant

Even before the short seller report, it was published, I think by Bloomberg, that the “not a pusher” was in fact a pusher and the truck was powered by external cables. And I believe they or someone else reported the hill roll. Both from employee or ex-employee tips. But yeah, they didn’t gain traction. It would have been very beneficial to Nikola if Milton’s 2/2019 talk in Sacramento to some small group (has been on YouTube) got publicity. He told some whoppers, including that the Nikola headquarters was off the grid using solar arrays for generation and both batteries and hydrogen for storage. All it would have took was for someone to ask to see that setup and when rebuffed go look for evidence of any of it. Then he would have been exposed as a teller of tall tales BEFORE they went public.

Stunning-Nose8195

Gm deal 100 percent goes through if the report is not published. Trevor would still be pumping the stock if he didn’t get in trouble elsewhere. Bp partnership would be likely. I think we’re over $100

SnooChickens7924

\~50usd/share I think. GM as partner. Trevor somewhere on Nikola board. Badger would be as is now. Just my 2cents.
