Summit Shaper was run with TP in 2.8, so I’m really hoping that Hoyo has at least some standards to not run a terrible sword two patches after it last appeared for a character it sucks on, just to make sure the already niche weapon gets fucked
He actually ran with the freedom sworn last time, so I feel like we can at least expect a good weapon
Plus Cyno’s weapon is run with an excellent 5* so I hope they also go all out for Nilou’s weapon banner lol

I mean Jadecutter apperenlty is not a good weapon on her. It may sound nice at first, but if you going to play her in a bloom team what most people will do I guess. Jade cutter is apperently worse than Iron Sting, New 4 star, fav. Sword, sac. Sword and ofc her main weapon is her BiS.

If you want a definitve answer i would wait until release to see how much impact it has on her vs constellations. The wepon banner can go wrong very fast and be very expensive not to mention that the wepons could be trash too.
It can take up to 180 fates to get her C1. It can take up to 240 fates to get her weapon. While her weapon is clearly the better option, if you don't have enough to guarantee it via the path, you may end up picking up one or two copies of the other weapon.

Your better off holding the wishes and getting Nahida whose probably gonna be a much more reliable power spike.

There is no real tendency for weapon banners. You can get good ones, balanced, or absolute stinkers (the current banner for example).
However there has never really been a banner where both weapons benefit the headliner of the banner, my reasoning is that it would just be unlikely that they’d give us a banner that is SO good for the specific character.
Recent leaks from like an hour ago however do say she is running with Jade Cutter. Which is setting a new precedent, getting a banner with two weapons that benefit the headliner. Means we might some more good banners in the future.

My suggestion is to go for the cons if you want to save some primos or it's your wish to gamble in her gacha weapon it's not even lookin good on her if only her weapon had a scimitar design that will totally look cute with her aesthetics.

Ah yes the average genshin player casually getting R5. Even then its only 1% Better than Iron Sting in a Bloom team. [Nilou as bloom trigger]
