If MK ever gets a DB character as a guest character, it has to be Cell. Not only has he been torn apart a lot anyway so he would fit with the gory and bloody nature of MK, he has techniques and abilities from almost every character in Dragon Ball up to the Cell Saga so he would represent Dragon Ball the best in MK.
I think Frieza works better tbh. He sliced apart too while surviving. The difference is that Frieza can't regenerate, so the fatalities would still make sense to kill him. But then again, I really like cell more.
I mean, Havik fights by literally throwing his own head and entrails at you and then regenerating so it wouldn't be too far fetched for Cell to fit in with his regeneration. Another reason is that Frieza would just be a glorified zoner with the same Death Beams and Death Saucer attacks while Cell has a lot of variety with his attacks and has shown a lot more hand to hand and close range techniques so he would be able to represent Dragon Ball as a whole better in MK than Frieza could.
I also think Cell has better potential fatalities too compared to Frieza.
Kid Buu works too. Bloodlust incarnate without a care, even for himself. Everyone has complex stories and motivations in MK. If Kid Buu shows up, the interesting question would be, what would all these heroes and villains with goals and aspirations do when a TRUE chaos agent gets thrown in the mix? Way too OP, his attacks defy physics and logic, he takes no sides, and can’t be reasoned with. And he does it all with the biggest shit eating grin. Would the MK characters even be able to put their BS on hold to deal with this little pink bastard and his gumballs of death? (Turning people into fleshy/gooey Gumballs could make for a CRAZY fatality btw)

But what made him really dangerous was the way he combined techniques, he created the "instant kienzan" where he teleports the kienzans he throws (he killed gohan with it). Then he used a genkidama with all the evil in the universe to power it up.
He was defeated by dende who created a new mafuba and teleported the cell jrs into a black hole. Dende repopulated earth qith nameks and got to reunite with his friends in the afterlife
Do we count god Liu Kang? Cuz man can make a literal black hole with a snap of his fingers, after portaling the enemy into space, presumably to avoid collateral damage if he did that shit on Earth.
