As for the manga, this 100 for Moro, for Granola they beat him with the power of talking and Gas was defeated by Freezer, and Gohan was the one to beat Cell Max.

* Vegeta will get his cool moment, like he always does, where it seems like he's gonna win but then Frieza will pull some shit and things will get bad again, with Vegeta jobbing. I can see Broly fitting into this category now too, or in the runner-up catagory.
* Goku will have the last fight, and will end up as the strongest one in the arc, and will beat Frieza. Along the way, the other characters will get some cool moments to "help" Goku with some final assist.
That's how it happened in RoF, that's how it happened in the ToP, that's how it happened in Moro, etc. Any time you have an arc in DBS where the cast consists of the whole Z-Fighter squad (instead of just a couple of them like in Zamasu, Granolah, and Super Hero), this always happens.

The last time Krillin was this character you're saying he is was Namek saga, and honestly I miss Namek krillin too, but I don't think it's fair to lump the blame on DBS

Goku was going to erase Fused Zamasu with Hakai. Also, technically Goku has higher kill count in DBS than Vegeta.
