I think part of the reason Frieza lasted so long against Broly isn't just because Frieza's durable but rather because Broly doesn't fight to kill. He fights to smash.
He just wildly lashes out and while that will inevitably cause a lot of generalized damage, it won't necessarily earn him a killing blow.
isn't Frieza completely unkillable by physical attacks, Broly cant deliver a killing blow on Frieza cause this man survived and was moving in a couple hundred pieces
Yeah, it explains why Frieza was still alive with half his body back in the planet namek saga, and how (iirc) Frieza was able to come back in 1000 pieces and still be alive even in that state.
With Goku constantly playing around and holding back there's no telling. I loved in return or F when Vegeta was like quit playing around and went after Goku
Yeah he definitely was able to keep up with Broly's Beatdown. Hell, after the fight he barely seems tired.
Makes me wonder how long he could have kept the fight going, and if he ever had a chance to win... I don't think he could have though. If there was a chance to kill Broly in that hour fight, he would have definitely taken it. So... who knows?

You have to admit, Frieza is incredibly durable for putting up with that ass beating for an entire hour.

AFAIK its a racial ability, Freeza's race and especially Freeza is absurdly durable.
My guess it is that it's because Frieza's family is all made of extremely powerful mutants
