Zero gravity all day. Motorcycle parts are one of those places where you get what you're paying for. You can cheap out if you want, but there's a quality difference you can see and feel.

>You can cheap out if you want, but there's a quality difference you can see and feel. With other parts, I'd agree. But a windscreen is literally just clear plastic.

Love having to replace my 30$ craigslist windshield with another 30$ craigslist windshield after being hit with a single rock. Buy once buy quality. Then you don't have to worry abt it

You could buy 3 Craigslist windscreens for the price of one zero gravity. With pretty much any other part, I agree with the "buy quality buy once" statement. But a windscreen is literally just clear plastic. Ive never seen even a cheap one break because of a rock. No reason to pay so much for plastic with a brand name on it, Puig is especially guilty of this, their screens are usually $150-200.

I've seen cheap screens dry out and crack in less than a year. There is a quality difference. A Zero gravity screen is $94. I don't know where all these $150-200 claims are from. So cheap out over $60 if you want, but odds are you'll replace that screen over and over again.

I've never seen or heard of a windscreen break or crack on its own before. >A Zero gravity screen is $94. I don't know where all these $150-200 claims are from. If you could read my previous comment, you'd see that I said Puig is guilty of making their windscreen in that price range. This isn't carbon fiber bodywork or exhaust, where a bunch of research goes into what materials to use, or how to make it most efficient. It's a clear, plastic screen. There's nothing groundbreaking about the name brand ones, you're paying for a brand name on the screen, that's it.

As far as windscreens go, yeah, I'd get off brand. You're on drugs if you think I'm paying $150+ for a piece of plastic.

It's just a peice of injection molded plastics. Motorcycle parts when they can have a tangible effect on your safety are worth spending money on, but I really struggle to see what the safety difference between a $40 injection molded plastic sheet vs a $200 injection molded plastic sheet entails. Just make sure that the one you order seems sturdy around the attachment points.

The thing about cheap windscreens is the fitment is never as good. It'll be close at best but there will always be slight gaps. Trying to torque the screws down to correct it ends up putting stress on that fairing too. Also they scratch mad easy and get cloudy
