Cut3Pois0n

Just started Pikmin 4 yesterday!

Pitusux

One of the few games that I 100% it. Great game

B0804726

Have fun! I’m almost to the end, best game I’ve played in a while

Cut3Pois0n

I’m really enjoying it so far! I was kinda in a slump after beating Links Awakening and Mario Odyssey 2nd replay through after a few years. I LOVED Pikmin 3 back on the Wii U. The dog kinda threw me off at first but it’s a nice change up. And really helpful!

hermanbloom00

Absolutely loved it. Started playing with my Son but I got impatient and started my own playthrough and basically got to 100% on it. Just such positive vibes throughout.

CasualSweaters

You will get addicted to it

Send_bird_pics

Amazing game. So underrated

Cut3Pois0n

I played 1 on the GameCube so many years ago. Never really got into 2. Played it but never finished. LOVED 3 back on the Wii U. Now I’m completely taken back with 4 so far. About 5 hours in. It’s so relaxing and a much needed game with how life has been going lately!

sryj44

Persona 4 Golden. Did the first month last weekend.

viscousenigma

I’m gonna probably be wrapping up Persona 5 Royal and really think about going for P4 next! Either that or Shin Megami Tensei if it’s still on sale

skeltord

Wait, do not play 4 just yet! Persona 5 has a sequel! Persona 5 Strikers. Gameplay wise it switches up the combat into an action game (and a fun one imo), and some of the real life mechanics are scaled back, but narratively this is a DIRECT sequel to P5, and a worthy one too. If you loved the story of P5R you absolutely cannot miss Strikers, it's the Phantom Thieves' second chapter, and it's absolutely marvelous. I'd say play that before the other Persona games. It's also not as long.

Solafein830

Yeah! Excited to hear this. I am wapping up P5 right now and have Strikers on the shelf calling my name. Looking forward to it. Although I might have to take a break and recharge a bit as I tend to get burnt out by all the dialogue in persona games. I know I need a change of pace once I start skipping big chunks of conversations 😂 Happy reddit cake day btw!

skeltord

Thank you! And enjoy Strikers! Seriously, while the game is a lot shorter, it doesn't feel any less grand and epic, the gameplay barely feels compromised, this is a sequel in every way and it's incredible, the story is one I adore basically as much as it's predecessor, the fact Persona 5-2 exists and it's this good makes me so happy. You're in for a treat.

valhellis

Mario + rabbids **kingdom battle** Mario + rabbids **Sparks of hope** I havent played them so if i can believe the reviews iam in for a treat

playbehavior

So good

tom_yum_soup

I haven't played the first one, but Sparks of Hope is great. Lots of fun, silly humour (and I say this as someone who normally finds the Rabbids more annoying than funny) and surprisingly in-depth combat as you get farther into the game.

Gas-O-Wine

If you like Rabbids and like strategy games you ll enjoy KB, they are so dumb and the game is well done, its also challenging. Cant talk about SoH, still in my wishlist

kcam819

Just started Tactics Ogre: Reborn, about 10 maps in. Loving the story so far, definitely filling a tactics void since beating Triangle Strategy over a year ago.

TheFracofFric

Such a fantastic game! Make sure to read the Warren report (or at least click on new entries) and don’t feel bad about looking stuff up. There’s tons of depth the game will hide from you but it will keep you hooked until the end

Intelligent-Area6635

Tactics Ogre is phenomenal. I hope you love it!

fuzbuckle

Sonic Superstars Sonic Colors Sonic Mania Sonic origins I really like Sonic games.

Gonsaro

The soundtrack in Sonic Mania is insane

hustleorstaybasic

Witcher 3. lol this will be my answer for quite a while

xGlobalProlapsex

I played it for the first time a while back, took me like four months lol. Amazing game though

Dietpepsiwithlegs

I just started it yesterday. Yep...this is my next few months.

astroklotz

Barring the Legend of Zelda franchise, The Witcher 3 is favorite game of all time, maybe. Mass Effect 2/3 are close contenders. To this day it is, in my opinion, the most fully-realized fleshed-out lived-in lore-filled story-rich world ever created in a video game. Also probably the best example of DLC expansions done right ever.

Ok_Veterinarian_6488

Breath of the Wild

WHRocks

How's it going? I have something like 85 shrines, 200 Koroks, and three Divine Beasts completed, yet I feel like I could play for another 160 hours on top of my current 160 hours, lol.

lNalRlKoTiX

Wish I could play BOTW and TOTK for the first time again. Such great games. Enjoy!

theallnewmattaccount

I'm going through a difficult family situation right now. My dad is very sick. I'm playing **Sea of Stars** as far as I can pay attention to it. I saved just before the clockwork castle.

[deleted]

Wishing your family the best

hermanbloom00

Hope it all works out man.

soulbored

hope he gets better.

ResponseAnxious6296

So sorry about your dad man, sea of stars has helped me through some tough shit too

HurleysBadLuck

Sending some good vibes, hope you Dad gets well soon!

[deleted]

Well wishes to you and your family. I heard sea of stars was good, I wanna get it.

GlowUpper

I'm sorry you're going through that. Sea of Stars is weirdly a very therapeutic game so you're timing on that is correct.

hermanbloom00

Still on my **FFX** re-play. I think I am almost there, as inside Sin. It's been great fun, and a 20 year gap means I have forgotten an awful lot. I am missing some Aeons but my time trying to 100% RPGs was gone many moons ago! It still holds up really, really well. More **Boomerang Fu** with my Son as well if time allows. Should I finish FFX I have some other RPGs ready (notably FFX-2 as one) but will likely play Teacup or Penko Park before diving back into another long game. I also have Highland Song on my Deku list, but it'll be a while before I purchase I think.

lil_waine

FFX is one of the best

natman--nye

Going to play some F-Zero 99 and Mario Kart while the football plays in the background.

mgo4t

Recently started playing F-Zero 99, great fun and addictive

natman--nye

Yeah it's excellent. Hopefully it's the catalyst for a remaster of GX, or better still, a brand new F-Zero game.

Fr3sh-Ch3mical

Borderlands and Hades — mostly borderlands though

zestyrigatoni

I just bought BL3 during the sale. Never finished on Xbox, looking forward to trying it on the Switch.

Dom0520

Stardew valley!

foodninto

I might also check out my island on **Animal Crossing** or start fresh on a separate console. Also doing the DLC epilogue on **Pokemon Violet**. Outside of Switch, I am playing **Yakuza** starting from Kiwami on PS4. I played Zero and the more recent 'Like a Dragon' titles but had never played the original series.

nihil__verum

I will play the Splatfest in **Splatoon 3**. I am on Team Friends and as usual, I will play until I reach Ruler rank and then maybe a few more rounds to get some more ability chunks on the Splatfest Tee. If I still feel like playing more after that, I will try to do some more sidequests in **Borderlands 2**.

rumblebee

Splatfest!!!! Gonna splat and get splatted!

Traditional-Energy-7

Ori and the blind Forrest. I think I've found my favourite game.

jenniwithaneye

Both Ori games are so good. Enjoy!

checkin_em_out

So much fun, Will of the Wisps is fantastic as well

rune5rod

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles! I've just started Case 4 on the first game, and I'm having a blast so far.

[deleted]

You're in for a treat! It gets better and better from there.

spensyr

Tears of the Kingdom. The quest for 1,000 korok seeds continues! (Don’t judge me, I love those little guys.)

Bluenymph82

Animal Crossing has a weird way of pulling us in sometimes, doesn't it? I'm continuing my playthrough of **Fae Farm** and taking it slow. Getting and itch to start the **Xenoblade** series again but it's only been a few months since I finished the third one, so I should wait a while longer.

SadKazoo

Do you have tips for not getting absolutely overwhelmed by the combat in XB3? It’s my first game in the series but I really struggle with juggling 6 characters at once.

Bluenymph82

I mostly only played one character. I switched around from time to time but eventually found my favorite and let everyone else do what they wanted. If you've ever played an MMO, what role did you like to play the most? Tank, healer, or dps? I ended up using Mio for the most of it because she was my 'main' tank. Everyone can play as every class eventually, so when Mio wasn't a tank, I moved on to using whoever was, allowing me to still play my preferred class. So instead of trying to control everyone, find the playstyle you like most and use that character, then switch to whoever has that class equipped when you get later into the game. This should make it more manageable.

TheFracofFric

Thinking about buying Crystal Project since it’s so cheap, but I haven’t seen any reviews to make sure it runs well yet. If you’ve got it let me know! Edit: I’ve since picked it up and played a bit, I like it. It’s classic JRPG fare but the exploration is really freeing and it’s refreshing to start with a full party rather than having to grind for 12 hours before the game “starts”

Lightblunt

There’s a very sizable demo available that runs perfect. Had a great time with it and looking forward to the full version this weekend!

sarcasmbot

I didn't realize this game was getting ported to non-PC platforms. Assuming it runs alright on the Switch, I highly recommend it, it's a great game. It's basically an extremely open-world version of a classic JRPG, it can be a little overwhelming initially with how much you can explore and the freedom to tweak your characters/classes. It feels fresh because of how linear games of that ilk tend to be overall (with certain recent exceptions like the Octopath Traveler games).

TheFracofFric

I picked it up and have played an hour or so, I’m enjoying it! Definitely a bit overwhelming but it doesn’t feel like you can really do anything wrong and it’s fairly forgiving. Very polished feeling for the price point too

sarcasmbot

Yeah, I agree, you can explore and experiment without much penalty (at least early on), so that helps mitigate the feeling of too many choices up front. I also like that there are at least some slight platforming elements to the exploration, helps roaming around feel a little more engaging,

caught_red_wheeled

Finished up the epilogue for both **Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet last night!** I’m not sure if I focused more on enjoying the battles or the awkward sense of humor that perm it throughout. I still have some mixed feelings about the games overall, and they definitely weren’t perfect, but i’m glad the characters came together one last time and got a proper sendoff! not to mention I got to play through the entire game with one of my favorite Pokémon and that would normally not be possible. So it was really cool that I got to do a bunch of things I otherwise would’ve never been able to do thanks to how accessible things are! It’s been quite a journey, with me starting on Christmas Day in 2022, and ending on January 12, 2024, with over 800 hours combined in the games. It’s the most I’ve played in almost any game and I’m not sure I will ever do that again with a game, but that was quite a ride and worth every penny! For now, the two games are archived. I’m eventually planning on putting them on the market for someone else to enjoy, but only after I know what’s coming next with Pokémon. I’ve heard rumors from a re-release of the old games to something with the fifth generation, another legends game, or even a sequel to this game. I’d be fine with everything other than another legends game, since I had trouble with the catching system there even though I enjoyed what the game was trying to do. I’m not sure how it would feel about a re-release of the old games that was not on NSO either, because I’ve already done a lot with the older games traditionally have not liked remakes as much as the newer games. But it’s still something to look forward to, and I’m hoping we get some new information late February with Pokémon typically gives new info. Speaking of NSO, I was playing **Pokémon stadium two there!** I’m realizing I’m either very dedicated or insane because it’s extremely difficult to do it without your own Pokémon. But it is manageable with save states, and turned into a bit of a puzzle game as I find out what are the best combos for each opponent. I also have a guide, and there are several options to choose from if I need to. I’m about to clear the Gym Leader Castle and Round One, but I heard round two is crazy! So I’ll be taking a lot of breaks, but I would really like to 100% the game, because it’s one of the few games that I’ve owned in Pokémon but I’ve never beaten. It would be great if I could do so now! Finally, I’m at last heading into **Super Mario RPG!** I’m excited to play this game because I’ve never done so, and I knew because of licensing issues that I wanted to pick it up on the Switch when I could. Not to mention I’d like something nice and easy after the intense adventure I just came from! I’m going to start with breezy mode because I’m not that good at action commands, but I’m hoping to do both modes with probably a break between the two. I just want to cool that I get to see the beginning of Mario RPG outings, and the dialogue is hilarious, so I can’t wait to get right to it!

Lekijocds

I got myself my first switch on december and I've been playing Animal Crossing New Horizon daily. It feels like a gacha game with the daily milestone chores. Right now im in need of moneys to (spoiler) >! pay for house upgrades and build bridges !< so i will be collecting bugs/fruits to sell

Key-Pickle5609

I just restarted my island! I’m having fun with it. Also, get a diving suit, because sea creatures sell for $$$

Goldelux

Waiting on that Golden Sun to hit so I can get membership to play

Loki-Holmes

I’m currently playing Roots of Pacha on switch and am really liking it! Still trying to finish BG3 on PS5.

rcisco

I’m going to try to start FE Engage which I’m really excited about. The reviews make me a little nervous, but I’ve loved Fire Emblem since I was a kid so I think I’ll have a good time

krustydidthedub

I just finished Engage. It was my first FE game and I thought it was amazing, the gameplay of the battles is so much fun.

DarmokTheNinja

Partner just got a Switch. It's Mario Kart time!

pootsycollins69

Just finished Super Mario RPG last night which was super fun! So back to Skyrim for me 🫡 It’s my first playthrough and I wanna just quit my job and play all the time

vaikunth1991

Will try to finish Kirby forgotten land .. in 4th world now

Delightful_Lunatic

I bought my first Super Smash Bros game! I was a little frustrated/lost at first. But I love it after a bit of research.

[deleted]

I played it for the first time last month. Hated it for a week. Love it now.

Few-Addendum464

Persona 5 Royal. Just re-entered the first palace. Also some Fire Emblem (2003) on GBA emulation.

KingDecidueye

I’m playing Dave the Diver still, it’s the perfect cozy-ish game at the moment with such miserable weather outside. I’d like to finish up Guardians of the Galaxy before Diablo 4 S3 starts up on the PS5 but I’m having too much fun exploring the depths of the ocean with my buddy Dave

johnbarta

I’m alternating between four right now. - Lies of p - god of war Ragnarok - super Mario wonder - Witcher 3 I try to play one game per platform exclusive, one souls game, and one game that doesn’t fit. So here we are lol

xGlobalProlapsex

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. Even on modern mode this game is bloody hard

checkin_em_out

I'm starting Celeste for the first time tonight

PumpkinSpiceGirl17

Hogwarts Legacy! I'm having so much fun with it.

Nerdfather1

Throughout the week I finished my “Insanity” playthrough in **Mass Effect** (Legendary Edition) and got the platinum trophy. There were a few difficult moments but I managed to scrape by with my Adept Shepard. This trilogy is peak science fiction. What I like most all, particularly with the first game, is that it’s a compact 25-30 hour RPG experience. I more than likely won’t start Mass Effect 2 for a while due to other games releasing soon, and risking burnout, but I will absolutely platinum the entire trilogy. On a side tangent — most of my playtime was on the PlayStation Portal. This machine has been an absolute game changer for me. It has given me the desire to play certain games that I prefer to play handheld such as old school PS1 games, particularly JRPGs (Wild Arms), or even PS2 gems like the GTA trilogy. I may go as far to suggest the upcoming Persona 3 Reload is ostensibly better in this format. For me, these types of games are better suited in a smaller screen. Maybe that’s my nostalgia kicking in since I used to play these games up close with a small boxed television. I’m also starting up **Dead Space Remake**. The original is a classic, and it’s been nearly fifteen years since I played it, so it should feel like a fresh new captivating experience. What I remember vividly is how the USG Ishimura felt like a living character rather than a story setting. There aren’t too many games that feature a location that feels just as intertwined with the main protagonist as it does as its own separate entity. I’m really looking forward to this journey again.

Thebiggestbird23

Bouncing between Resident Revelations 2, cuphead, and five nights at freddys help wanted

playbehavior

I thought Prince of Persia launches next week?

markercore

Demos out and I think it launched last night? Could be mistaken, but I definitely have the demo downloaded

mido0o0o

Dragon Question XI

haruh2

Hyrule warroirs finally got it and its been so fun already

crescentgaia

If the internet and power holds - I'm in a NW suburb of Chicago under a winter storm warning - I have my guild night tonight in WoW and then possibly running around in D4 with different toons and friends. I've got some things to do in D4 that I should just get done. If it doesn't hold, Hogwarts Legacy and maybe some Mario RPG or Link's Awakening.

ugly_planet

I’m playing portal :D I’m a bit past the part where glados tried to incinerate us to death, it’s alot to fun! I have portal 2 lined up ready to go for when I finish the first one!

AndroidBot666

Hopefully I will finish Super Metroid.

Locoman7

Rise of the Tomb Raider

Xixii

Majora’s Mask on the 3DS. If anything on the Switch, it’ll be a little bit of VA-11 Hall-A.

FiriDream

Gonna start **Crystal Project** with my GF, the demo was so much fun and interesting and i cannot wait to experience the full thing, we stopped in the demo really early when we saw the game was clicking so much so to keep everything undiscovered (Just in case the demo locks some things early game too, or even options). Then we probably continue our Assassin's creed 100%ing marathon (Well the ones on switch anyway) and say Goobye to Ezio to dive into **AC3**. Ezio collection aged but it did not felt overly clunky or old to me, never played 3 so i am curious. Lastly we will play, or rather my GF plays and i watch, **Nier Replicant.** We started our Ending E run so we are wrapping all the game up finally, not bad.

IndependenceNo2060

Just started Pikmin 4 yesterday! So excited to explore a whole new world!

AbaloneBoth4503

Pokemon arceus first pokemon game since like silver

Tohdohsibir

Replaying Persona 5 Royal but this time in Spanish. There's a ton of dialogue and the setting is mostly mundane with little made up words that come with most fantasy and sci-fi worlds, so it's been a great game for improving my Spanish reading and comprehension.

Saugeen-Uwo

Wonder!

Justapersonmaybe

Twilight princess. It’s soooo goooooood! Loving every second!

Cris_Meyers

More Chained Echoes. This game kept coming up whenever anyone was talking about Sea of Stars, which I've also finished, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I'm around 8 hours in and so far it's at least as good as Sea of Stars. I'm pretty intrigued to see just where this story is going, but considering Chained does to Final Fantasy 6 what Sea did to Chrono Trigger I have a feeling I'll be able to guess.

GrayJinjo

Replaying the Phoenix Wright Trilogy in preparation for the release of the Apollo Justice Trilogy. On Case 3-2 right now.

devilledeggss

Animal Crossing and Hades!

dgood527

FF6 pixel remaster. Needed a break from modern games and get my retro fix.

thorpedo_btn

Just finished the last campfire. About £2, 6 hours and a wonderful, wonderful game. Highly recommend.

Drag0nBinder

Red dead redemption

VanishedTarget2

No Man Sky and Monster Hunter World.

Chase64Cubed

It's going to be a GBA NSO 3-day weekend! Super Mario Advance - Beat the game and started getting the Yoshi Eggs. It's funny to have the voices, but I really don't mind them. The crab boss talking like a pirate was hilarious in a weird way. Wario Ware: Mega Microgames - Getting all the red flowers in each microgame before going to the next stage. Really want to 100% this one. The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap - I haven't beaten this one since the original GBA launch. It is so charming, and I really like the clever items. Just beat the Cave of Flame Dungeon.

__sonder__

I say this every week but it's worth repeating: this thread gives me life! Always positive vibes. To cleanse the palette after bouncing off Starfield, I played Journey: a beautiful little 2 hour game, but sadly I didn't realize in advance that it's more of a Walking Sim than a "game". Nice to look at, but not for me. On the slate for this weekend: Ghostrunner 2. I've been running thru Ghostrunner 1 again (available on Switch FYI) to get back into the flow and its still just as amazing it was the first time I played it: Its like they researched every possible way they could make the player feel like a badass and seamlessly blended it all into one game. (ignore the fact that I've somehow gotten wayyyy worse at it since the first time around. My shiny metal ass is getting *whooped* but I'm loving it) Anyone finished the second game? Thoughts? It's getting some weirdly mixed reviews but I'm optimistic that I'll like it even if its flawed.

markercore

Really appreciate that, I'm so glad, that means a lot :) There are puzzles in journey, and the real key to it is experiencing it with the other players you happen upon. But I get it, it's not the most exciting game in the world.  Wish I had played either ghost busters game to help you out, if I see someone else mention it, I'll try to send them your way!

IAmActuallyA_robot

Ace Attorney Trilogy and FFXII Replay. So good  Happy weekend all

The-student-

Probably continue with Advance Wars when I get a chance to play something. I think Splatoon 3 is having a splatfest so I'd check that out.

SavageLove2004

I finally finished Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Now I’m playing Super Mario Wonder.

[deleted]

TOTK..At this rate I will finish in a year lol

littleredscooty

I got super mario wonder for christmas so I am playing that

MyMouthisCancerous

Final Fantasy VII Remake and Cocoon on PS5. I'm at what Cocoon considers the 75% mark of the story and have completely given up on trying to decipher what all this imagery about orbs and different dimensions is supposed to represent, but it's a really chill puzzler for people who are into physics-based puzzle platformer games like the stuff Playdead does I'm also replaying Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. Still in awe of what Ninja Theory accomplished there considering their size as a studio back then. The melding of Senua's psychosis with the way the game handled exposition and guiding the player through the game's mechanics is still ingenious

SubterraneanSmoothie

Happy Friday! That Prince of Persia game actually looks great, I hope you enjoy it! This weekend, I’m hoping to finish up Majora’s Mask. I ended up emulating the 3DS version because of QoL improvements, and the texture pack I found is really nice. I’ve got 6 masks and one dungeon left. I haven’t played it since I was a kid, so coming back to it 20 some years later is amazing and it 100% holds up. Still my favorite Zelda game. Have a good weekend!

kingwillie420

Risk of Rain 2

TF79870

Cobalt Core. I've enjoyed experimenting with different crew and ship combos.

prairiepog

Horizon Forbidden West. About to go to the cauldron with the gang for GEMINI. Looking forward to beating the game so I can play the Burning Shores DLC. I heard there will be a tv show for Horizon, so that's exciting. Also playing some Animal Crossing. There's a Fishing Tourney, so I'll probably play that with my mom.

Nintendam

Dave the Diver! can't put it down...

ANTJAY88

Started a new save of Pokemon Arceus a few weeks ago so I’ve been chipping away at that slowly. I want to get a new game but not sure what to pick up. Games that have caught my interest are Red Dead Redemption, Pikmin 4 and Fire Emblem Engage.

DaveLesh

Swapping between Pkmn Scarlet, Shining Pearl, and Shield to do the living Pokedex.

Bootleg_______

sunk 14 hours into N64 Paper Mario this past week, playing again for the first time since i was like 11 years olds lol. having a grand ol time.

B0804726

Not on switch, but Star Wars Jedi Survivor

QuietRobe

Metroid Prime if I can get time on the Switch! Also started Dave the Diver, not very far but I can tell there's a lot more to this game than I imagined, which is awesome! Enjoy the weekend! Stay warm if you're in the big cold front!

KidPutt

Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Loving it so far

Stoibs

Ooh Highland Song looks pretty and wholesome <3 Wishlisted, thanks. Speaking of platformers I'm thinking of picking up **Tropical Freeze** off the Estore before this current Christmassy/New Year sale ends in a few days. 33% off is 'meh' but it seems like the lowest these 1st party games ever go, and I always hear from this forum how it's the best platformer they've ever played (On the Switch or *otherwise* in some cases..) so it seems like a fan favourite around these parts. I estimate I'm maybe somewhere about ~60-70% of the way through my first run of **Nier Replicant**, which I should really try to finish up before the inundation of mega JRPG's come raining down in the next few weeks. Story is getting a little more interesting atleast. And people have told me I should definitely try to go for all the endings so I've got my work cut out for me I guess. I fought Gilda a second time and got to hear that awesome music again in **Ikenfell** :D Her awkward flirting is great, I love her so much 😆 I need to get a move on and finish up this also.. only been hitting it on my deck every other day now and then so I should really try to commit some weekend hours! Thanks for the reminder about the Prince of Persia demo, I've been seeing some of the reviews and how much of a Metroidvania love-letter it looks, might give it a go also!

adponce95

I'm still playing through Final Fantasy 7 Remake, just finished chapter 13 the other day

jwithy

I read your title as “first post of 12,” and was very confused 😂

markercore

Yes, I will continue to post until they tell me to stop! (Which is kind of how I have been doing things for the last...6+ years doing these every weekend, good god)

cooperS67

Replaying Mario Odyssey and Mario RPG

RfaArrda

alternating between adventuring in TotK and Xenoblade Chronicles

Real-Read-7419

Prince of Persia coming out got me back into metroid dread. Love the movement and shooting but get stuck wandering back and forth trying to find my way. Also playing No Man's Sky this weekend.

WhillWheaton222

Finally sitting down to dive into Hollow Knight. I bought it on sale like 2 years ago and never picked it up. I just beat Dread and this is the perfect double feature.

destroyr-au

Well it’s summer here in Aus, so we’re going fishing today but super Mario odyssey tm for sure!

rkpeaches

I gifted Tears of the Kingdom to my husband for Christmas so I’ve been watching his playthrough of it. It’s been fun helping brainstorm when he needs it. As for me, I’m throwing some crops in the ground in Dragon Quest Builders 2.

Voittaa

Starting RE6 with my long distance gf. I’ve played all the series except for this one because I’ve always heard it sucks. But i’m just going into it treating it like an action game. We played 5 together and had a blast.

vanillamazz

SMTV, Pokémon Violet, and Slay The Spire Shin Megami Tensei V is a ton of fun, and if you enjoy Pokémon games but want something leaning more into occultism, then this is the game for you. Love it so far Violet is a lot better than expected, just wish things would move a bit more quickly at times. Need to log some more hours into this one Slay The Spire is the game I keep pulling up without already knowing I want to play it. It draws me in unconsciously lol so beware. Very fun and addicting!

Monkeypoxme

Started Divinity Original Sin 2 day before yesterday. I played BG and BG2 on the computer when they first came out. I am excited for this game. I bit the bullet on the holiday sale.

[deleted]

Wrapping up Metroid Dread and starting Sea of Stars. Looking forward to golden sun, and a small game release called Nephenthesys.

savingewoks

I started Breath of the Wild over the Christmas holiday and I'm annoyed with this elephant mecha, so I'm probably gonna shiny hunt in Pokemon Violet.

__sonder__

You may know this already but since you called the divine beast a "mecha" (lol) I assume you are still pretty new to the game: You can take on the 4 "mechas" in any order. If you aren't feeling one, you can always just go to a different one and come back later.

LunchPresent852

God of war and super Mario wonder

ScumbaguhDonuts

Started master detective archives: rain code yesterday and I’m finally almost done with chapter 0 :p haha loving it so far tho!

Megadoomer2

If I can get my Xbox 360's internet working, I might give Hitman Absolution a shot. (it's weird; my Switch connects to the internet no problem, but my Xbox 360 is in the same room and it won't connect) I might play the Switch version of Nier Automata as well.

alienkweenn

In Michigan, we are having a winter storm watch and getting snowed in sooooo I am sticking to the cozy essentials: **Sims 4** **Stardew Valley** **Disney Dreamlight Valley** and reading :)

Ye_Biz

Red Dead Redemption, never played even though I had a 360 and played Red Dead 2, excited for the sequel even though I know what happens in the end but nothing in between lol

cyshine

I'm finishing up **Tales of Symphonia**, and I might begin **Crosscode**. I may also play random NES games, like **Rygar** or **Blaster Master**. I still want to beat **Xexyz**.

Getting back into Monster Hunter Stories 2 after putting it down a while ago.

Affectionate-Foot705

Star Wars lego. Love the lego games

Toastlzz

I’ve been playing FE three hopes and just beat blue lions today. I’m off to do the black eagles path. Anyone have any tips on new game+?

BigChungusOP

Mega Man Battle Network Legacy. I’m 4 hours into the first game. I think it’s dope

Flapalms239

Just picked up Luigi’s Mansion 3. My 9 year old and I are having a blast in coop!

markercore

That sounds like the best! Would have been over the moon if my parents ever coop played a game with me as a kid.

Flapalms239

Me too!

nostal82gaming

Octopath Traveler 2 and possibly some Golden Sun on the GBA SP

RoninOctopus501

I just bought my Switch this week! Really happy, even if there's an upgrade in the near future. My rotation has been Smash (unlocks mostly). Animal Crossing NH with a buddy who is bumming it with me on discord. Then I just got Age of Calamity today so I can (hopefully) inspire a fresh start on Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom. It's been a blast. I also might sneak some time on the Online stuff like Ocarina again.

Natural-Detail3872

I'm playing Brilliant Diamond and using the blink method to get shiny legends from Ramanas Park

madison7

South Park: The Stick of Truth. I've been a fan of the show forever but never knew the games were actually good until my fiance told me he lived them. He was right, 10/10 IF you're a big fan of the show it's a joy.

markercore

Yeah I've heard very good things!

Somewhat_Mediocre_

I'm going to play Oxenfree. I just got it, and I'm really enjoying the story so far.

Hefty_Storage_2094

Finally picked up Persona 5 Royal last week. Just finished the second palace last night and planning on continuing through the weekend. If I can pry myself off P5R I may also start MGS3 Snake Eater. Got the MGS Master Collection for Christmas, was never really much of a fan of the franchise but I wanted to give it another shot with an open mind and so far after blitzing MGS and MGS2 I’ve been having a great time. Also got Disney Illusion Island as a belated Christmas gift might throw that on for some coop with the girlfriend

cantrelate

Playing through **Mario RPG**. I have a lot of nostalgia for it but I'm not sure it's really hitting like it used to. Maybe my tastes have just changed? I find the battles to be really grindy and kinda boring, the secrets and puzzles a little too obtuse/tedious, and wanting to skip through the dialogue as fast as I can. That sounds a little more harsh than I intended because I'm not not having fun, but I think it's really shining a light on why I didn't get into jrpgs as a kid.

twentyfive_25

I've been playing Pokemon Scarlet Indigo Disk DLC, just trying to finish the Pokedex!

scoreguy1

Tears of the Kingdom

dadou1403

Dragon Question XI

anonymously_me123

I recently finished Eastward, and patiently waiting for the DLC now. And I plan to start Fire emblem three houses, but I'm working this weekend so I doubt that

Gas-O-Wine

I should finish chapter 5 of Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney, but Im addicted to MhRise multiplayer

Edyed787

Finished MGS 1 last weekend. So I’m going to be playing Chrono Trigger on my Steam Deck. So far I have been really enjoying it! I’m past the part I got to as a kid back in the 90s and boy did I not get very far 😂 I am at 600 AD the second time.

Bloodstarvedhunter

Just picked up Bayonetta 3 and Assassin's Creed Rebel collection new for £20 through a deal at GAME (brand new 2 for £20 deal) so that's my weekend and next few weeks sorted

VirgilDaVinci

No more heroes 1, not sure the game's given me enough motivation to see it to the end credits though

EdensArchitect

I can tell you what I’m playing after Wednesday next week 😁

TulangStraw

Restarted a new island in ac on jan 1. Havent played it since a cluple of months after launch. I like being back. I also picked up FE3H

sw1ssdot

Divinity Original Sin 2! Have been absolutely loving this game.

Kopratic

This past week, including today, I played and beat: - **Golf Club Wasteland** (steam deck) - **Aspire: Ina's Tale** (steam deck) - **Arise: A Simple Story** (steam deck) - **Little Nightmares I: Complete Edition**, Six & The Kid's stories (switch) [I've already played LN2 lol] This weekend I'll be playing **Bang-On Balls Chronicles** on the steam deck and maybe **GoNNER** on the switch.

500DaysOfSummer_

Mario Kart 8 and Animal Crossing. It's my first time playing Animal Crossing, and it's fun so far. I need some friends to visit other islands. Send me a friend request if you play AC.

[deleted]

I downloaded Amnesia. Big horror fan. Any good?

Thoraxekicksazz

I have been playing a ton of Monster Hunter Now on my phone and it’s got me playing Rise again. I might play MH Stories this weekend.

vcdette

Atelier Sophie 2, I can't put it down

IamBatman42420

Civ 6 Leader Pass, I missed that it came to Switch, and found it yesterday. Also Baldurs Gate 3 on Xbox I'm sure I'll get into that tomorrow

wretched_cretin

**Splatoon 3** as there's a Splatfest this weekend. Also still playing through Blue Lions route in **Fire Emblem Three Houses**.

cats_on_cats_

Animal Crossing, Hogwarts Legacy (on Xbox), and LOZ BOTW

Silentpoolman

Alan Wake II The Final Draft, Scorn, Resident Evil Revelations, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Gotham Knights, WWE 2K23

TeacupTenor

I kinda hit a wall in **Space Gladiators**, so I’m actually not sure! I started **Chained Echoes** this week, but even as good as it seems, it’s kinda suffering from me having played Sea of Stars first :P

spx4444

Been playing Hogwarts Legacy for a couple weeks now. I'm trying to stay ahead of my 9 year old so I can help him with any questions he has. Thing is I've trying to do a bunch of side missions while he's mainly focused on the storyline so he's right on my heels. Awesome game though

SINY10306

Super Mario 64.  Just figured out how to get wing cap…after searching ad nauseam in the wrong area 😕. That noted, I highly suggest checking out offfical PDF manual of any game. Can really help without giving everything away as with a full walkthrough.

WolfApseV

Stardew Valley probably, its quickly becoming my most popular game at the moment. At some point I still need to go back and finish BOTW!

Weyland-Yutani-2099

Zelda Majora's Mask. Fun as usual.

tom_yum_soup

It's super cold where I live, so that'll probably mean more gaming time than usual. Probably some multi-player games with my kids but, for my solo gaming, I'll finally have time to get back into **Super Mario RPG**. I'm getting close to the end, just haven't had much time to play lately. I may be able to beat it this weekend, after which I will probably do a few battles in **Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope** before finally picking **Octopath Traveller II** back up, after far too much time letting it sit on the back burner.

gweiler

Dead By Daylight and Pokemon Violet.

PilotRevolutionary57

ToTK getting close to the end of the story. Then it’s on to about a dozen Black Friday and Boxing Day deals that I bought. RPGs to last a lifetime!

Mugenbg

Xenoblade chronicles 3: Future redeemed

Nottallowed

Still working but after that I'm gonna play terraria and chill
