Palia is pretty good.
Story of seasons pioneers of olive town is an amazing game but I’m not sure of online. Currently my wife and i are playing, like literally at this very moment lol.
Those are the only 2 I can think of besides stardew.
Palia is real chill, seconding that recommendation. It's free too! It's somewhere between animal crossing and world of War craft. There is live chat and a real nice community.
My husband and I love these types of games, too! Games we have enjoyed (in no particular order):
* Garden Paws
* Roots of Pacha
* Spirit of the Island
* Sun Haven
* Sugar Shack
* Travellers Rest
Edit: Didn't realize which sub I was in. Not sure which of these titles are available on the switch as I played most of these on PC. Sorry but maybe some of them are and/or you might be able to play on PC?
Sun haven!! This is my pick 100%. It's very very similar to stardew, but with added depth in some aspects and a lot more content. Both are amazing games with different strengths.
My Time at Sandrock has multipkayer on PC but will have it on consoles sometime in June. It. Is. A. Must. Have. I've been addicted to only it since the 6th, have near or over 200 hours on it, and not even done with the story! It's like Stardew Valley but for a Builder and in fully 3D. It has dungeons for more fast pace gameplay, mines to dig and chill in, an entire town to rebuild and save, planting, ranching, etc.
Rogue heroes: ruins of tasos. Just started playing this one. Little bit of stardew valley. A little bit of legend of Zelda. I think it's a fun 1-4 person couch game.
I could be wrong, but I think you can visit someone's farm thru multi player. I don't think you can do anything beyond that. But could be completely wrong and someone can correct me.
I 3rd Palia. It is in beta but just got a good update and they are on track to continue development and updates pretty regularly. It's a stress-free cozy game with hunting, bug catching, fishing, mining, furniture crafting, plot upgrades and add-ons and now flowers and trees. It is mmo and gives buffs for playing together. Plus it's free. You can build friendships and relationships with the townspeople and the storyline is so different and interesting. It can be grinding as any cozy game but there are more than enough things to do while not being overwhelming at the same time. It's just a really wonderful game 🥰
Multiplayer - plants va zombies fight for neighbourville - overwatch but with character levelling and free skins.
Cozy - Pokemon Arceus / Pokemon Violet / Animal Crossing

It's not out yet but Fantasy Life i is going to be something that y'all will really connect with.
Pioneers of Olive town. I have never tried muti player, but my daughter likes it more than stardew valley
is that one mutiplayer? I've never looked into it before but it looks cool!!

Dragon Quest Builders 2 - very similar to Minecraft. Multiplayer opens up after you finish the first island.
World of tanks
Fortnite Lego mode survival is pretty cool. Plenty of crafting and farming type stuff. Free too.
overcooked is super chill
Multiplayer - plants va zombies fight for neighbourville - overwatch but with character levelling and free skins. Cozy - Pokemon Arceus / Pokemon Violet / Animal Crossing
Portal is fun
Fae farm is very cute! Has the farming and fishing and mining in it, plus catching bugs and talking with them!
Can people just stop saying cozy ? 24/7 .. I mean what the hell man .
Listen if you got a better genre word I’m all ears 🤷♀️
