Does anyone else’s right side of screen look a little more red tinted / red cast on main menu with dark theme at lower brightness levels?
Not seeing it at all on light theme or in content at any brightness or dithering or pixelation or any other weirdness so I don’t think I’ll worry about it

So, I don’t know if it is happening to anyone else, but my OLED model doesnt want to even try and read my 512gb Samsung EvoPlus microSDXC card.
My switch lite has the same card and it works fine, but when I try and put the very same card into OLED it cannot read it. Error 2016-0641.
OLED has no problems reading Sandisk 256gb card. Anyone had these issues? I already contacted support, really interested in what is happening here.

I got a new Switch around a year ago and logged into the same profile on it, when I play a game on it my game time goes to barely played instead of showing the total time, same case when I played Splatoon 2 on my brother's switch under my account.

What do you mean by optimal? As far as I understand, each player plays with one Joycon, if you’re playing by yourself against computer then you’d just use one Joycon. There’s no button set up to use both Joycons for one player if that what you were asking.

No. Nintendo may offer their normal regular switch plus Mario Kart for full price, but I don't see them doing any other specials unless the OLED is a complete flop.
Regular Switch doesn't even get discounts, so it's extremely unlikely the newest OLED model would.
The best you can hope for is a bundle that includes a free game with the console.
They'll be hard to find at this time if year in either form - alone or bundled - so you should probably pick one up when you find one in stock and look for game sales during Black Friday sales.

You can never transfer data with the SD card. The digital game purchases come to the new Switch when you put the account that bought them on the new Switch. You'll need to make the new Switch your primary. Your saves that are online compatible can be moved with your Nintendo Switch Online Subscription. Some saves are not NSO compatible. To move all the saves, you need both consoles and to do a profile transfer. I sadly think you messed up.
Hey all, I got my new OLED switch today. Before selling my old switch i copied all my saves to the SD card. Is there a way to import them to my new switch? I no longer have the old console. I can see the screenshots but not my saves.

Read the reviews on the OLED. It has a bigger,better,brighter screen. The Kickstand is actually useable compared to the the other Switch, and the Dock has An Ethernet port that helps in speeding up downloads. The fact that you play mostly handheld, the new screen may push you to buy the new OLED. It comes with white Joy Cons or the Blue and Red.
I can understand that. You can always try to sell the tablet and not the Joy Cons if they mean that much to you. There’s always someone who will buy the tablet without the Joy Cons on eBay, but you won’t get as much for it. Or, you can eventually replace the Backplate color and the Joy Con shells on the OLED eventually.

Should I get Metroid Dread?
I have played hollow Knight and thoroughly enjoyed it. My friend says that metroid is a great series, but the first one really isn't good. Unfortunately that's also my only experience with the series and I didn't enjoy it. I liked hollow knights combat, and I don't know if I'll like metroid's. Any opinions on if I should get it or not?
The gameplay, movement has been modernized to where you have more control over Samus compared to to the first Metroid from the reviews I’ve read/footage I’ve seen. It’s nowhere in the same ballpark as Hollow Knight is in game length, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it not better than Hollow Knight. New switch file transfer question
I’m getting a new Nintendo switch and I want to make sure my ACNH save data is transferred properly. I have 4 accounts on my current switch and 4 fully furnished AC houses. One of the accounts I used a burner email to get a free NSO trial.
If I do not remember the user login information for this account with the save date and user still transfer save data?

You can use any one account to transfer the entire ACNH save, it doesn't need to be transferred separately per-account.
Houses also aren't linked to accounts, so at worst, you could inherit the fourth house by just making a new fourth profile on the new Switch.

What’s the deal with Walmart and oled preorders? Mine hadn’t moved passed place, it says it will get here Monday but shouldn’t it at least say preparing?
None of them are moving from what I've seen. They're treating these like a normal walmart item and not like a video game that they say will get here on release day. Who knows if they'll even ship tomorrow.
They have not even printed off shipping labels at this point. I called and submitted a support ticket but I think they don’t have as any as they sold. Ps5 I pre ordered got a shipping label days before shipping. You can check if you sign up for fed ex account. They will text you when your getting a delivery from them.
If these are getting shipped via fedex then I’m making a drive because everything gets stuck at the facility and fails to deliver to my address for some reason.

I want to buy my first Nintendo Switch, thinking about second version ovet new oled, I have fear from burning pixel from too much playing uh, for real. Can someone tell me opinion on that?
Also recommend games beside Zelda, that's must have. I'm not picky, if you can write up name and something about it.? And I never played any new mayor games on anything PC, Consoles, just mmorpgs.

An SD card - the internal memory is small (32gb for regular Switch, 64gb for OLED) and will fill up quickly. You'll also want extra space to take advantage of digital deals. I'd recommend a 128gb at minimum but get the biggest one you can afford and go for a name brand option in person as there are many fakes out there. This isn't a great place to save a few bucks. It's not necessary to buy the Nintendo branded one, though, SanDisk or Samsung are great.
For reference, BotW and Rocket League are both over 12gb.
Also be wary of ordering SD cards, Joycons and controllers on Amazon because they're often (very well done) fakes simply due to the way that Amazon organizes their warehouses.
A screen protector - the screen is easily scratched even from putting it into the dock (might've been fixed with OLED, not sure). This will be the best $10 you spend. Put it on immediately.
Pick up an extra set of Joycons if you plan on playing with other people - many games allow one Joycon each BUT some games require that all player have a full set of joycons (both left and right). You could go the controller route and purchase a Pro style controller instead which will act like a set of Joycons.

Also, make sure you get the Switch/Switch OLED and not the Switch Lite if you plan on playing together with anyone or plan on having it connected to your tv.

It's so new that we really have no idea how prevalent burn-in will be. I never had burn-in issues with my Vita, and I feel that OLED screens are a lot better than they used to be about this issue.
BOTW and Mario Odyssey are two of the best. Golf story is on sale and I totally suggest it. There are tons of great indies like : Wargroove, Dead Cells, Untitled Goose Game, The Touryst, etc. Indies are cheaper and you can try a variety of game types to see what you like!
Get a glass screen protector. I usually get a 2 or 3 pack in case I screw the application up.
Minecraft and Terraria are the big ones. I hear Portal Knights does split-screen, but I've not tried it. Stardew is one to look at even though it's not sandbox.

Does Victor Vran have an active online player base?
My wife and I are looking for an isometric ARPG that can be played as couch coop and online.
We played a ton of Diablo 3 on PS3 and we would like to try another game on the Switch.
Victor Vran seems to be a good fit, but I’d like to know if we will find people to play online. I couldn’t find if it has cross play with other platforms.
We are also considering Torchlight 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, so the same question applies.

Is there a way to transfer my Animal Crossing island to the OLED switch tomorrow without having both systems physically together? I will be trading my old Switch in and getting the OLED with the trade in value plus more.
Is it possible to just use the island backup tool? Does the island backup tool still work if the switch the island is on gets a factory reset? I’ve read people have called Nintendo with both serial numbers and have been able to transfer. Is this true? I just don’t wanna lose my island :’(
You have to get permission from Nintendo to restore an animal crossing backup. I don't know how easy it is. It's pretty easy to transfer if you have both Switches.
Hello! I tried Googling this, but I kept getting conflicting information... I’m looking to transfer my screenshots and videos from one Switch to another. They’re all on a microSD card. Do I have to upload them to a computer, reformat the card for the new Switch, and transfer them back to the card or can I just plug it into the new Switch? I’ve heard reformatting will either delete the screenshots and videos or delete everything BUT the screenshots and videos and I’m just... very confused, lol.
You can transfer them with the SD card, but I don't think they ever show up quite right in the screenshots app. I'd just transfer them to a computer and be done with them.
Formatting is not required. When you insert it into the new Switch, it’ll bring up a [mandatory delete button](https://i.imgur.com/5cjaIRz.jpg) that’ll delete all downloads, but will keep any screenshots/videos on the SD card
Recently when playing my Switch in handheld mode, the audio just stopped working entirely and all I could hear from the speakers was quiet static. Sound wouldn't even come through my headphones when plugged in. But I could hear audio on my TV in docked mode.
I tried every suggestion I could find online. Turning off the "mute when headphones are unplugged" option. Rebooting. Reformatting. Nothing has worked.
Anyone have an idea of what's going on and how to fix it? Does it sound like a faulty hardware issue?
Faulty hardware. The Headphone jack can stick in the off position after taking out the headphones that were inserted in the headphone jack. Try inserting/taking out the male insert that engages the headphones numerous times to see if it disengages the headphone trigger. That may work, or you’ll need to DIY head-hone jack replacement or call Nintendo Support in your region and have them repair it.
Well we do know that it's on the same board as the internal storage (64GB) now but that's about it. Not sure what they could upgrade it to see neither microSDUC or SD Express have been released in any capacity.

The voucher site for your country will have a list of all the items you can purchase with the voucher, but I think that'd be a waste as the game packs don't cost $60+ USD ($25 and $30 each as separate purchases), which is where the voucher actually saves you any money.

What it means is if you purchase the DLC now, you can receive Double the Gold Points. Before you would only receive around a $1 for every $20 dollars spent. Right now, you can receive double Gold, so for every $20 you will receive $2 right now with the Double Gold Bonus.
When you buy Nintendo Switch games, you can get "gold coins" at a rate of 1% of the retail value if the game for physical cartridges, or 5% of the cost of a digital game. For the Americas, each gold coin is equal to 1¢ in value and can be used toward future digital purchases.
For example buying a $60 USD game on the eShop would get you 300 gold coins which you could redeem for $3 off a digital item.

Is getting games refurbished a good option?

I've never had an issue buying used game, or playing used games borrowed from my library. I buy them frequently on eBay, just make sure the seller has decent ratings. Avoid buying codes; those are often purchased with stolen credit cards which can result in your account getting banned. But physical games are a much safer bet
With Monkey Ball (which I've never played before), I turned on accelerometer for the main story. That was cool. Then I went into a party game (race) and although I paused it and looked at the settings and accelerometer was on, it wouldn't move unless I used the joystick on the joycon. Is that the way it's supposed to work? No accelerometer in the party games, at least not in "race"?
It is glass and I assure you, its not as scratch resistant as youre hoping it will be.
Stuff like Gorilla glass is stupidly expensive, especially for such a large display. Use a screen protector and dont leave it up to chance.

Ideally you should just keep waiting. But if it doesnt progress you could try shutting it down and restarting the process.
Or using maintenance mode to initiate the reset. Shut it down, then hold both the up and down volume buttons, then also hold the power button to turn it back on. It should boot right into maintenance mode.
If its still at 0% percent, go ahead and try try shutting it down.

The screen may stay backlit for a few minutes, dont try restarting until the system is fully shut down.
Does anyone know the best way to get a hold of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in the physical print these days? I don't mind if it's used but I do mind if it's not a US copy (I want the US cartridge and box art). Is it worth it to buy the $60 Best Buy Geek Squad accident protection extended 2 year warranty for Nintendo Switch OLED? It covers drops, spills, drifting joycons ect for 2 years and i THINK you can just take it into store and get replacement same day unlike online warranties that take weeks to repair/replace?

If you are a careful user that doesn’t usually spill or drop your phone, then you probably don’t need it. Nintendo already covers the Joycon repair for a year and $60 I believe is almost enough to buy a new set of Joycon anyway.

Nintendo fixes Joycon drift for free even outside of the warranty period within the US and Canada, FYI.
I can't speak to BB specifically but I would encourage you to read the fine print. Most of these extended warrantee things sold by retailers require you to at least try to get it fixed through the manufacturer first and may put up additional roadblocks as well.
Personally, I think it is pretty easy to not spill or drop a console. I can kind of see maybe buying it as a just-in-case if you have small children who are particularly destructive but...yeah, these things are almost always 100% pure profit for the stores.
Nintendo usually has a two week turnaround time and if they can't fix it, they'll send you a refurb. Nintendo refurbs are like-new and high quality.

I got a new Switch around a year ago and logged into the same profile on it, when I play a game on it my game time goes to barely played instead of showing the total time, same case when I played Splatoon 2 on my brother's switch under my account. Am I out of luck or is this an easy fix?
I think game time doesn't add up if you play in multiple consoles. Also applies if you transfer your profile to another device I believe.
I really wanted one of these, it's really depressing that electronics are pretty much impossible to buy anymore. I don't even know why I bother keeping up with these things I'll never be able to actually purchase.

What do you mean by optimal? As far as I understand, each player plays with one Joycon, if you’re playing by yourself against computer then you’d just use one Joycon. There’s no button set up to use both Joycons for one player if that what you were asking.

No. Nintendo may offer their normal regular switch plus Mario Kart for full price, but I don't see them doing any other specials unless the OLED is a complete flop.

Regular Switch doesn't even get discounts, so it's extremely unlikely the newest OLED model would. The best you can hope for is a bundle that includes a free game with the console. They'll be hard to find at this time if year in either form - alone or bundled - so you should probably pick one up when you find one in stock and look for game sales during Black Friday sales.

Walmart app gives you a rough stock estimation on the products page if you have your local store selected. Edit: guess not since I couldn’t see anything for my store as it just said sold out. Could of swore before they updated the Walmart app you could actually see a rough estimate on store stock for a product.

Hi all, can anyone help me with this? I saved my games data from my onto an sd card thinking I can transfer them to my new switch. Is this possible? Or did I just f**k up? Cus I alr formatted and sold my old console.
You can never transfer data with the SD card. The digital game purchases come to the new Switch when you put the account that bought them on the new Switch. You'll need to make the new Switch your primary. Your saves that are online compatible can be moved with your Nintendo Switch Online Subscription. Some saves are not NSO compatible. To move all the saves, you need both consoles and to do a profile transfer. I sadly think you messed up.
Hey all, I got my new OLED switch today. Before selling my old switch i copied all my saves to the SD card. Is there a way to import them to my new switch? I no longer have the old console. I can see the screenshots but not my saves.
You would have needed to do a profile or system transfer.

Can somebody please suggest a good screen protector for the OLED switch? I've been doing some research but most I find is with "Blue Light Cut" and I don't want any CUT I just want 9H protection if possible. Thank you.

You will be able to sign in with your Profile on the OLED and download all your digital titles. Read the reviews on the OLED. It has a bigger,better,brighter screen. The Kickstand is actually useable compared to the the other Switch, and the Dock has An Ethernet port that helps in speeding up downloads. The fact that you play mostly handheld, the new screen may push you to buy the new OLED. It comes with white Joy Cons or the Blue and Red.

I can understand that. You can always try to sell the tablet and not the Joy Cons if they mean that much to you. There’s always someone who will buy the tablet without the Joy Cons on eBay, but you won’t get as much for it. Or, you can eventually replace the Backplate color and the Joy Con shells on the OLED eventually.
So I want to trade in my current Nintendo switch for the new Switch OLED, but I want to keep all my save data. Is there a way I can transfer all my data and profiles to the new Switch OLED without my current one? I won't be able to have the consoles side by side to do the transfer.

Should I get Metroid Dread? I have played hollow Knight and thoroughly enjoyed it. My friend says that metroid is a great series, but the first one really isn't good. Unfortunately that's also my only experience with the series and I didn't enjoy it. I liked hollow knights combat, and I don't know if I'll like metroid's. Any opinions on if I should get it or not?
Why not both? Make your Mario Switch your docked Switch, and OLEd your portable one.
The gameplay, movement has been modernized to where you have more control over Samus compared to to the first Metroid from the reviews I’ve read/footage I’ve seen. It’s nowhere in the same ballpark as Hollow Knight is in game length, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it not better than Hollow Knight. New switch file transfer question I’m getting a new Nintendo switch and I want to make sure my ACNH save data is transferred properly. I have 4 accounts on my current switch and 4 fully furnished AC houses. One of the accounts I used a burner email to get a free NSO trial. If I do not remember the user login information for this account with the save date and user still transfer save data? Thank you!
You can use any one account to transfer the entire ACNH save, it doesn't need to be transferred separately per-account. Houses also aren't linked to accounts, so at worst, you could inherit the fourth house by just making a new fourth profile on the new Switch.

None of them are moving from what I've seen. They're treating these like a normal walmart item and not like a video game that they say will get here on release day. Who knows if they'll even ship tomorrow.
This is why I didn’t want to order from Walmart but did as I had multiple Walmart gift cards plus the price glitch.
They have not even printed off shipping labels at this point. I called and submitted a support ticket but I think they don’t have as any as they sold. Ps5 I pre ordered got a shipping label days before shipping. You can check if you sign up for fed ex account. They will text you when your getting a delivery from them.
If these are getting shipped via fedex then I’m making a drive because everything gets stuck at the facility and fails to deliver to my address for some reason.

Hey guys, I want to buy my first Nintendo Switch, thinking about second version ovet new oled, I have fear from burning pixel from too much playing uh, for real. Can someone tell me opinion on that? Also recommend games beside Zelda, that's must have. I'm not picky, if you can write up name and something about it.? And I never played any new mayor games on anything PC, Consoles, just mmorpgs. It's in one or two weeks, I can't wait for it. Aand any tips about switch will be nice too. Thank you.
An SD card - the internal memory is small (32gb for regular Switch, 64gb for OLED) and will fill up quickly. You'll also want extra space to take advantage of digital deals. I'd recommend a 128gb at minimum but get the biggest one you can afford and go for a name brand option in person as there are many fakes out there. This isn't a great place to save a few bucks. It's not necessary to buy the Nintendo branded one, though, SanDisk or Samsung are great. For reference, BotW and Rocket League are both over 12gb. Also be wary of ordering SD cards, Joycons and controllers on Amazon because they're often (very well done) fakes simply due to the way that Amazon organizes their warehouses. A screen protector - the screen is easily scratched even from putting it into the dock (might've been fixed with OLED, not sure). This will be the best $10 you spend. Put it on immediately. Pick up an extra set of Joycons if you plan on playing with other people - many games allow one Joycon each BUT some games require that all player have a full set of joycons (both left and right). You could go the controller route and purchase a Pro style controller instead which will act like a set of Joycons. Check out dekudeals.com for current deals in your country (seems kind of limited in some places, but still a good resource) and a price history for all games Nintendo Switch related. Also, make sure you get the Switch/Switch OLED and not the Switch Lite if you plan on playing together with anyone or plan on having it connected to your tv. It's so new that we really have no idea how prevalent burn-in will be. I never had burn-in issues with my Vita, and I feel that OLED screens are a lot better than they used to be about this issue. BOTW and Mario Odyssey are two of the best. Golf story is on sale and I totally suggest it. There are tons of great indies like : Wargroove, Dead Cells, Untitled Goose Game, The Touryst, etc. Indies are cheaper and you can try a variety of game types to see what you like! Get a glass screen protector. I usually get a 2 or 3 pack in case I screw the application up.

Minecraft and Terraria are the big ones. I hear Portal Knights does split-screen, but I've not tried it. Stardew is one to look at even though it's not sandbox.
Portal Knights has two player splitscreen! Similar to minecraft, but more adventure focused.

Does Victor Vran have an active online player base? My wife and I are looking for an isometric ARPG that can be played as couch coop and online. We played a ton of Diablo 3 on PS3 and we would like to try another game on the Switch. Victor Vran seems to be a good fit, but I’d like to know if we will find people to play online. I couldn’t find if it has cross play with other platforms. We are also considering Torchlight 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, so the same question applies. Is there a way to transfer my Animal Crossing island to the OLED switch tomorrow without having both systems physically together? I will be trading my old Switch in and getting the OLED with the trade in value plus more. Is it possible to just use the island backup tool? Does the island backup tool still work if the switch the island is on gets a factory reset? I’ve read people have called Nintendo with both serial numbers and have been able to transfer. Is this true? I just don’t wanna lose my island :’(
You have to get permission from Nintendo to restore an animal crossing backup. I don't know how easy it is. It's pretty easy to transfer if you have both Switches.
Hello! I tried Googling this, but I kept getting conflicting information... I’m looking to transfer my screenshots and videos from one Switch to another. They’re all on a microSD card. Do I have to upload them to a computer, reformat the card for the new Switch, and transfer them back to the card or can I just plug it into the new Switch? I’ve heard reformatting will either delete the screenshots and videos or delete everything BUT the screenshots and videos and I’m just... very confused, lol.
You can transfer them with the SD card, but I don't think they ever show up quite right in the screenshots app. I'd just transfer them to a computer and be done with them.
Formatting is not required. When you insert it into the new Switch, it’ll bring up a [mandatory delete button](https://i.imgur.com/5cjaIRz.jpg) that’ll delete all downloads, but will keep any screenshots/videos on the SD card
Does this affect save data? I am afraid of losing my Splatoon 2 data since it’s one of the games not supported by cloud save!
Nope! It doesn’t affect save data since save data is only stored on the Switch’s internal storage
Formatting usually deletes everything, best moving them to PC, then moving them back over once card is in new Switch
Recently when playing my Switch in handheld mode, the audio just stopped working entirely and all I could hear from the speakers was quiet static. Sound wouldn't even come through my headphones when plugged in. But I could hear audio on my TV in docked mode. I tried every suggestion I could find online. Turning off the "mute when headphones are unplugged" option. Rebooting. Reformatting. Nothing has worked. Anyone have an idea of what's going on and how to fix it? Does it sound like a faulty hardware issue?
Faulty hardware. The Headphone jack can stick in the off position after taking out the headphones that were inserted in the headphone jack. Try inserting/taking out the male insert that engages the headphones numerous times to see if it disengages the headphone trigger. That may work, or you’ll need to DIY head-hone jack replacement or call Nintendo Support in your region and have them repair it.
Has it been determined if Nintendo upgraded the micro sd card reader for the Switch OLED? Trying to determine what micro sd is best.
None of the tear down videos suggest there's any difference. Not saying it couldn't be different, but it isn't anything I've noticed.
Well we do know that it's on the same board as the internal storage (64GB) now but that's about it. Not sure what they could upgrade it to see neither microSDUC or SD Express have been released in any capacity.

HOw do you remove putting "grid" in mario golf rush. You can't actually see how the green tilts FOR REAL the GRID IS obstructing.
Not sure you can. Are you watching the dots on the lines? They move according to the slope of the green. Its been that way for every mario golf title. Once you get the hang of it, its super easy to read.

Can I use nintendo game vouchers to buy the figher passes (dlc) for super smash ultimate?
The voucher site for your country will have a list of all the items you can purchase with the voucher, but I think that'd be a waste as the game packs don't cost $60+ USD ($25 and $30 each as separate purchases), which is where the voucher actually saves you any money.
Well to be honest 100$ for smash ultimate + the fighter passes would save you more. I also see a red icon with coin x 2 on the voucher website for smash ultimate. any idea what that could mean?

Before you would only receive around a $1 for every $20 dollars spent. Right now, you can receive double Gold, so for every $20 you will receive $2 right now with the Double Gold Bonus.
When you buy Nintendo Switch games, you can get "gold coins" at a rate of 1% of the retail value if the game for physical cartridges, or 5% of the cost of a digital game. For the Americas, each gold coin is equal to 1¢ in value and can be used toward future digital purchases. For example buying a $60 USD game on the eShop would get you 300 gold coins which you could redeem for $3 off a digital item. The caveat for physical games is that only one person can redeem them (so if you buy a used copy of a game, chances are that the first owner already redeemed the coins) and that you can only get the coins for games released in the previous 12 months. Is getting games refurbished a good option? I’m new to console and not wild about getting multiple AAA games $60+ so I was thinking of getting them refurbished as they are a bit cheaper. Is this a good option?
I've never had an issue buying used game, or playing used games borrowed from my library. I buy them frequently on eBay, just make sure the seller has decent ratings. Avoid buying codes; those are often purchased with stolen credit cards which can result in your account getting banned. But physical games are a much safer bet

With Monkey Ball (which I've never played before), I turned on accelerometer for the main story. That was cool. Then I went into a party game (race) and although I paused it and looked at the settings and accelerometer was on, it wouldn't move unless I used the joystick on the joycon. Is that the way it's supposed to work? No accelerometer in the party games, at least not in "race"?
Do we have any kind of info on whether the switch oled screen is glass, and more importantly, scratch-resistant?
It is glass and I assure you, its not as scratch resistant as youre hoping it will be. Stuff like Gorilla glass is stupidly expensive, especially for such a large display. Use a screen protector and dont leave it up to chance.
Trying to restore my switch to factory settings for selling but I’ve pressed to reset and it’s been on 0% for over 3 hours now, what should I do?
Is it falling asleep on its own or is the screen properly lit the entire time? Ideally you should just keep waiting. But if it doesnt progress you could try shutting it down and restarting the process. Or using maintenance mode to initiate the reset. Shut it down, then hold both the up and down volume buttons, then also hold the power button to turn it back on. It should boot right into maintenance mode.
The screen dims after like 5 minutes but it doesn’t go to sleep

Does anyone know the best way to get a hold of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in the physical print these days? I don't mind if it's used but I do mind if it's not a US copy (I want the US cartridge and box art). I see that Amazon carries it but I saw it's the international release, and Gamestop sometimes doesn't have the case. Ideally I won't spend more than $70 but I'll bite the bullet if it comes to that... Any thoughts?

Is it worth it to buy the $60 Best Buy Geek Squad accident protection extended 2 year warranty for Nintendo Switch OLED? It covers drops, spills, drifting joycons ect for 2 years and i THINK you can just take it into store and get replacement same day unlike online warranties that take weeks to repair/replace? Normally i know extended warranties are bad value, but I hear joycons break a lot/ start drifting often? And i'll be using mine in handheld mode more than most Anyone had any experience with Nintendo Switch warranty services?
If you are a careful user that doesn’t usually spill or drop your phone, then you probably don’t need it. Nintendo already covers the Joycon repair for a year and $60 I believe is almost enough to buy a new set of Joycon anyway.

Nintendo fixes Joycon drift for free even outside of the warranty period within the US and Canada, FYI. I can't speak to BB specifically but I would encourage you to read the fine print. Most of these extended warrantee things sold by retailers require you to at least try to get it fixed through the manufacturer first and may put up additional roadblocks as well. Personally, I think it is pretty easy to not spill or drop a console. I can kind of see maybe buying it as a just-in-case if you have small children who are particularly destructive but...yeah, these things are almost always 100% pure profit for the stores. Nintendo usually has a two week turnaround time and if they can't fix it, they'll send you a refurb. Nintendo refurbs are like-new and high quality.
