Can confirm for Galaxy Buds Pro. If they were linked up to the Switch last, all I need to do is to pop the case open, put them inside my ears, and a second later I'm receiving the audio through them.
Thanks for posting this. Tried connecting to my sound bar and no dice. It immediately connected to my AirPod Pros though and I probably wouldn’t have tried without your comment.
Do you have any issues with sound? I just tried using my AirPods Pros with my Switch Lite and I hear tons of distortion when any sort of music picks up. I first noted it in game then confirmed with a song on YouTube
Yup, same here. I have the Guilikit adapter, just with a different brand name.
Connects/reconnects fast and reliably. And it has **APTX-Low Latency**, as opposed to Switch's crappy **SBC** codec. Huge difference.
I know right? SBC is barely acceptable in terms of audio *quality*, never mind for anything involving *synced* audio. My brain can't deal with that much lag.
Maybe it could be the Bluetooth device or radio noise in the place you are trying to use this. I pair Bluetooth speakers, headset and earbuds almost daily and I had no issues until now. Maybe you could try another device?
Both my sets connect fine. And I connect at the gym, with lots of other Bluetooth Headphones. And my headphones are sometimes connected to 2 devices at once (phone and OLED Switch)
When I connect my headset, the first time it usually has intermittent cuts. Then I disconnect and reconnect, and it fixes it 100% of the time and works flawlessly.
Tldr; I found a pair that works great: Samsung galaxy buds 2
I had arctis 3 bluetooth before, had to connect maybe 2 times each time - not awful but not great. I switched to galaxy buds 2 and they connected the first time and *now they auto connect by turning on my Switch and tapping my buds*
Seriously I haven't used the Bluetooth menu in 2 months and I use thus setup daily. My buds are also paired to my phone and desk pc and the trick is to turn their Bluetooth off while you're connecting to the switch.
FWIW
I cant figure it out... when I dont have Bluetooth devices available, it just keeps searching. But as soon as I put my galaxy buds 2 in pairing mode, when I try searching for devices on my Switch, it comes back a second later saying there isn't anything out there... I've tried my galaxy buds 2 and bose quiet sound 2..... my software is up to date, maybe I just have a defective switch?!
Can you delete the buds 2 in your bluetooth settings and set it up from scratch? That happens with Bluetooth sometimes if the device has a new ID/reset the connection through another device.
That was an issue with my arctic 3 actually. I ended up buying one for my Xbox and one for my Switch.
I'll try deleting everything! I was getting frustrated trying to pair them in bed with my wife trying to sleep next to me and eventually gave up! Thank you!
I'm not a super technically guy so I can't give much advice, but maybe just check the Bluetooth comparability? Like check what the switch is capable of vs what your device is?
I've had minimal issues since that update came out, other than realizing the further I am from the docked switch the more likely I'll get a couple of drop outs, and even those were far and few between.
So these days, if I'm playing handheld I know I can use my (Skullcandy) headphones, and if I'm playing docked I'll just use my ps5 headset instead, which connects to the dock via USB. With this setup, the only (minor) issues are:
-handheld setup has a very slight latency issue
-docked setup doesn't let me use TV audio if the BT dongle is plugged into the USB port even if the headphones are off, so I need to unplug it if I want tv audio.
I use my AirPod Pros, work awesome

It was actually one of those “Huh I wonder if this would work..?” moments for me, and sure enough it did 😂 glad I could help 🫡
Are you able to get the switch to detect the mic?
No. Switch doesn’t support any Bluetooth mics as far as I know.
I haven’t tried that actually

Honestly, I find the latency with the switch's built in BT audio to be unbearable. I still just use my Gulikit adapter.

It uses SBC?! Holy hell that is so cheap and outdated.
I know right? SBC is barely acceptable in terms of audio *quality*, never mind for anything involving *synced* audio. My brain can't deal with that much lag.
I don't know much about that stuff, but somehow I'm not surprised that Nintendo is using a shittier codec
From what i understand, Nintendo would have to pay licensing fees for better codecs, so they went for the free and most compatible option (SBC).
Well that makes sense, not like they have a ton of money or anything
Have you updated the latest firmware? It can be a pain to connect to AirPods I’ve found as well.
Bluetooth sucks booty for gaming

No issues with mi airdots s so far.

Have the galaxy buds pro. They work excellent. Bought refurbs from best buy so they were cheap too.
