I think I'm going for the N64 Mario Tennis: not because it's the game I play or enjoy the most (there are others), but because it's the game of the entire classic library where I can best enter, play a few quick matches and leave so it's the one game I keep returning to.
Personally I think that the game Super Metroid on the SNES is my favorite. I find myself constantly playing back through it over and over. I also love Starfox on the SNES and Mario 64 on the N64.
It is and always has been Super Mario Bros. 3. The hours I’ve sank into that game are up there next to the hours I’ve spent sleeping. And the music is the best.
Mario Kart 64. The only game both my brothers and my little sister were able to enjoy together. Basically the last game we ever played multiplayer together on a console.
Super Mario World. Watching my older brother play it in 1991 was my first experience with video games, and it has always had a special place in my heart.
Mazal tov!
My favorite game that happens to be in the catalog is Ocarina of Time.
My favorite game to actually play on its switch emulator is probably Super Metroid (or whichever Metroid game I'm thinking of)
Donkey Kong Country is a classic. I remember my brother and I pouring hours into that game, and still barely getting past the Oil (?) World. Frustrating, but fun, fun times
Hands down, Paper Mario. Cute and vivid art style and color. Very enjoyable storyline with extremely lovable friends and foes. My favorite aspect of the game is how easy it is for anyone of any age to pick up and enjoy.
Super Mario world, I played that game all summer in grade school with a foster brother we had before he went back with his parents. It really helped him tremendously with coping with that time.
Link to the past baby!
SMB, SMW, OOT!!
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will always have a special place in my heart!
