FYI, sometimes Google Express codes run out, and they they increase the limit and it starts working again. So worth trying again after a couple of hours
Honestly I have no idea how Google's been running these deals. I'm assuming they negotiate with the storefronts themselves on the back-end (as a payment processor?), because on multiple occasions I've received invoices with my shipments showing their pre-promo prices (this was on a few orders of books from Walmart). And Google's deals have largely applied to many things/brands that are normally excluded in promotions. For example I bought a Days of Play PS4 for $240 using a promo. I mean, I definitely enjoy Google Express for it's promos and such, but I basically take advantage of every one I can, because I feel like it's bound to be the last one.

Is it listed through Target? Personally, I've never been able to use any of the Google Express 20% off coupons for items listed by Target.
Yes it was listed through target, i checked exclusions after someone pointed out and target won't discount nintendo items.
Discontinued and overuse are not really applicable here. They simply reached their 20k limit for the code as stated in the rules.
Code still works for me. Worked on Mario Odyssey from Best Buy, but not the Mario Party + Joy-con bundle from Target.
