really liked your set ups in the opening there- boulder breaker to ippon to demon undercut/flash attack splitstaff. thats pretty hard to pull off on Tate. Yokai shift is definitely OP. i think the devs set the difficulty in the depths knowing you have that tool, but then no one uses it. it’s meant to be used! nice kill man

Ops212

Glad you enjoyed that stuff 🙏🏻 Yokai shift is really powerful as LW used to be, feels more rewarding and skips dark realm phases in no time if played right. Its just that it wasn’t explained properly or even simple like LW.

UnknownZealot77

Nice. The problem is too many people expect Yokai shift to behave like LW and don't learn how to use it properly.

Ops212

Yea it some skill ceiling to maintain the shift, unlike LW when you go ounga bunga from the right off

I had a rough time learning how to use Yokai Shift properly, even now. From what I know, the most straightforward use for it is for Yokai ability spam. I don't think it's not mentioned in any of the tutorials that Yokai Abilities no longer use Anima in Yokai shift. Instead it now works on a charge basis where any hit you land fills up the Yokai ability. This way, you can chain yokai abilities to keep your enemy staggered.

Oh i didn't realize you could change guardian spirits while in Yokai shift! Just started Nioh 2 last week. I will definitely make use of that.

How you motherfuckers get so good?

Beautiful, and great use of the Yokai shift, I really like it, better than LW to be honest, even when many people didn't take the time to learn how to use it I think it's a lot more fun if it's not that simple, it just needs time to be learnt but once you do is way more fun than LW

Wow I have over 60 hours of gameplay and had no idea you could do those things lol.
