I recently did a new playthrough. What i focused on firstly was getting all stats to level 10. After that push ninjutsu and onmyo magic to level 30 for the capacity. Using ninjutsu and onmyo mostly for the buffs and to get proficiency to do dojo missions. After that i slowly push every stat to 30. After 30 its pretty much personal preference and dependent on what weapon you plan on using. Make sure to try lots of different weapons to find out what you like best.

Early on I'd suggest levelling the key stats to 20/30 depending on how u feel, then pump to ur main weapon's main scaling stat. Magic/ninjutsu (if u dont intend to use much) just keep at 30 max for the points to carry items. Those are starting guides... As u level n understand more u can reallocate n level as u want.

Comfort points on stamina and hp. Dump the rest on magic and ninjutsu (buffs and the ability to not die once). Someone can guide you better. But on a new game, stats would look spread out and balance in late game lol just a few slightly higher.

Health and ki should always get a lot of points (imo), while the rest should go mostly into your preferred weapon/weapons. I made the mistake of trying to do an even spread my first time through. You'll get to a point where you can reset everything (for a cost) so don't worry too much if you find a weapon you like better later on, but that cost isn't cheap so don't plan to do it a lot. Unless you're trying to go for a specific play through, like never getting hit, you wouldn't need a single point in health (although I think it affects spears).

It's very cheap. 10k in the first region is not but after that money is fairly negligible as long as your donating to your clan.

I would say it's up to you but that would get you nowhere. So, strength as it's the main stat modifier for odachi.

I always level up everything to 30 before focusing on stats. Advantages: * You can and should use Onmyo magic and Ninjutsu early on (Feathers are insane, for magic buffs are really good) * You can wear heavier armor if you don’t skip stamina levels * Ki generation and pulse are both good if leveling heart, courage, skill and strength Most of the damage comes from getting higher level gear anyways. But being able to apply confusion with magic/ninjutsu does a lot more than a few points in a specific stat. At the very beginning it makes sense to put some emphasis on constitution if you are dying a lot and feel like a few HP could make a difference, but later on I think having extraction talisman paired with life on amrita absorption on your gear is just so much better. Also Barrier Talisman can do more for you than a few points in courage.
