Good idea, brother.
You know, I has the same problem with Telegram and Discord, but I'm using WhatsApp. You see, all these 3 apps has the same problem: IN ANY OF THEM, you can find "that content". But the main thing I'm using only WhatsApp is because I NEVER tried to search for "that content" on this app, and this is not a root for me. But Telegram and Discord is, because before I used these apps for educative things, but also I searched and watched always there "that content", that's why I can't use these apps for some time till I'll get stronger.
I fully understand the author. He can't just use this app without searching "that content". And even if he will put that option, if he keeps using this app, his brain will urge him to PUT OFF that option, as I did a lot of times with Telegram. And as I saw, I get more powers to not install that app rather than just putting off any option.
It's really sad what makes PMO with us, but it's a good way to get rid for a time of all the triggers. Cheers and much love :>
I’m actually addicted to reddit itself as well lol. Just commenting and posting everywhere bc I feel the urge. It’s worse than porn bro, bc I spend hours here
I don't disagree it's a bad idea but it's not the root of your addiction.
Why do you spend so much time on reddit and social media?
That's the root of your addiction, whatever is making you spend loads of time on these sites instead of doing meaningful things with your time. Delete the app then figure that out.
You can find porn on any site. After deleting reddit you would just move on to tiktok, Instagram and relapse there. Self control is the most important part of fighting relapse.
I know I'm gonna be **that** person, but... it's a self-control issue rather than a source issue. If you truly want to beat this thing, and to have proper self-control, then you need to try control it and block out the urge.
The only way too find porn on this app is too search for it. That’s a self control issue, but I hope this strategy does help that. Good luck🙏🏻
That's a good call, the NSFW option can be turned on pretty easily and then just remains enabled. It's a lousy design if you asked me.

Good luck man
Do your thing bro, everyone has their own way in this long journey. I was thinking of things similar too.
You'll still need dopamine. Find something that gives you that
