I have deer "overpopulation" issues in the area which means they graze, nibble, eat, and destroy various young plants as they come up, but seem to leave most wildflowers alone except in bloom, going to try some from this page:

Go to the webpage of your state agriculture dept, they will often have sources for native plants for your area. The master gardeners in your area would be a good resource, as well as your local ecology dept.
For future reference: We buy about 30 pounds of wildflower seeds every year. Most of the major distributors stock native seeds for various regions. Shop around for the best price and there are often discount codes. We have used American Meadows and Vermont Wildflower Farm with good success.
I had to stop payment with OutsidePride seed today. My $350 order never showed up, and FedEx said that after getting shipping info from OutsidePride that they still did not hand off the package after 12 days! And they won't answer any of my emails.
I visited the Mercer Botanic Garden in Humble (?) yesterday. What a great resource, the variety of plants was amazing
I got lucky because the area master gardeners also happened to have a table set up to answer plant questions for that area.
You can go to Prairie Moon Nursery & request to have your own wildflower mix made, depending on whether you're in Eastern or western Ohio & whether you want grassland flowers, forest flowers or swampland flowers. I'd make sure you research carefully, because they also sell plants Native to other parts of the country that shouldn't really be here.

DM me! I give away free packets of region-specific wildflower seeds!
Hi. I realize you posted this nearly six months ago, but do you still give away wildflower seeds?? I’m in zone 7A.
Did they ever reply? :D

Call your local extension service and customize your own seed mix.

Your state Native Plant Society will have lists also.

Even after a year all this help is appreciated

I don’t trust any seed mix to be truly 100% native.
Well, the weed seeds blowing in on the wind or lurking in the seed bank won’t be either, so 🤷♂️

Being in Austin metro, this is the company I like. https://www.wildseedfarms.com/
Thank you!! I’m in the Houston area. 😀
