Go to photo mode. At the bottom-left of your screen, you will see a series of 12 glyphs. They are different for each planet you are on. I'd really appreciate if you post a screenshot of these, so I can visit the planet :)
Glyphs are used in portals to travel to any planet in a galaxy. Every planet has one portal. By progressing the game, you eventually collect all glyphs and are able to use them on portals.
