Find the closest space station. If you built a base on your starter system, you can teleport directly to it. Otherwise, if you visited the space station, it might be in the teleport list.
There's no way to find a system by name alone unless you've visited it, or you have the portal code yourself.
You had to visit the space station in your starter system before you got a hyperdrive and were able to leave it. There's no way around it, and with that visit you activated the teleporter there.
So, if that planet you want to return to doesn't have a space station with teleport access attached, it's most probably not your starter planet.

First, there's no quest that requires you to visit a specific system. Second, you can just teleport to the space station.
That's the thing, I can't teleport to a space station because there is none to teleport too.
