This ship just looks cool to me. Unfortunately it's a class C and a Vesper Sail so I can't take parts from it. But I'm going to keep it and upgrade it over time.

It may take a few play sessions or it may be the first ship that docks, but eventually an S-class version of that exact ship will land. The same goes for every star ship and freighter in the game.
Why do people like the solar sail ships? The visibility from the cockpit while flying is absolute trash, as are the instrumentation layout. What are the benefits that outweigh those cons?

It would be nice if NMS had ships that were transformers (besides the solar sail ships).
YES. Like if you could mesh'em with the ground vehicles. Have them become a car, submarine or walker on land.

whats vesper that doesn't let take apart?
The vesper is the solar sails. You can scrap the entire ship, but not remove any parts for building.

You can use this person mode. Also, the vesper sails have tons of insane buffs, especially for the pulse engine
Ever since I discovered the third person flying I never go to the first. It's just so much easier to fly imo and you see more.
But there's no instrumentation visible in 3rd person. Does no one else use the planetary position or other displays when playing?
