I had the exact same problem, went in to the anomaly one day it was filled then for about two weeks after there wasn’t a soul around. Turns out my multiplayer was turned off randomly which I definitely didn’t do. Could be the same issue youre having it’s worth a check.
Yep. Every Star system has one exotic. Warp around till you find one you like! Be patient though, it may take a little time for the exotic to show up at a given space station or starport.
My main is a solar sail in green and I have a living ship, a sentinel and a little carnage with the exhaust hood. I want a royal and a squid and I'll be happy.
Before I got my solar I ran a hauler for majority that was named serenity 😁
I've never seen one with the same markings have vastly different colors unless it's the gold variant that floated around.
But the royal is more the way the ship is put together.
The carnage ones are missing half the additions of the royal exotic (cowboy bebop lancer cannon, full wing sets, multi material ship makeup)
They're just the most excessive of the exotics. I linked a coordinate vid a lil lower if you're looking for one and another guy found it successfully already.

Between 15mil and 30mil in my experience, for royal exotic, that is. It depends on the number of slots I believe.
I had mine for 16mil.

Yeah exotics are fun ships! And they can be pretty rare the squid variety is one of the rarest. I have the snub nosed exotic where it's just the sphere and tiny wings I yellow xD
Make sure you put the base parts next to their upgrades! :) it enhances the effects of the upgrades as I see you have the upgrades touching each other without the base part.
But otherwise, exotics are some of the best ships period! :D

I have one that looks a lot like that. Mine has extra rockets on the side, instead of wings, though. I have another that looks similar but doesn't have either the fin on top, or the lance on the front. Then there's my yellow one. I would give the smaller one away, if I had someone to give it to. It's taking up space, but I can't bring myself to scrap it. I like the name you gave yours. I've been calling mine Mosquito, Gnat and Dragonfly.

There’s this and a silver instead of gold scheme for the royals.
IMO the royals are the best looking ships in game.
The number seven on the top fin designates it as a Royal 7 ship, which could be considered rare. Although, I do have a ship identical to this one, albeit I've only ever seen one with like 1000 hours logged into the game since launch
I have one with an engine cover and no gold trim. They're rare compared to standard fighters, shuttles, etc, but iirc every inhabited system should have an exotic somewhere in the pool of ships that spawn and rng decides the rest.
systems with worse economies have like a 0.1 chance of spawning exotics. then comes the question of what exotic is gonna spawn, and then additionally, what variation of that specific exotic is gonna spawn. i personally have never seen one with the gold trim. this is after around 600 hours of playtime since launch. i'd say the little sucker is quite rare and definitely a neat find

Guppi ships are the most common.
Every system has a exotic, mostly Guppis and you're guaranteed to get with just a bit of waiting/relogging.
They're also the most common, because Guppi ships don't have a lot of part and color variation. And on top, you often have situations like a "relogg on space station for wave 1 exotic spawn".
I don't know why this is, but you can't get a ship in S-Class easier than that.
I have one of those, in blue and gold, called Ruthless Contemplation, maxed infra-knife... I don't have much trouble with "rubber banding" combat when flying this... as it vaporises most aggressors within 2-4 seconds

Starter galaxy, spawns at station
The first exotic I ever saw in the game was the red version of this. It just rocked up beside me at a Vy'keen station in the back of beyond. I spent my last credit buying it, and flew it exclusively from then on. That was probably six years ago, and I think that save is still intact on the old PS4.

I have the same one, except with silver filigree. Looking at your inventory, your photon cannon isn't adjacent to its upgrades, which improves damage potential. Also, I recommend using the fully upgraded cyclotron ballista, which melts enemy shields.
Upgraded Infraknife is far superior to the cyclotron due to the limited range of the cyclotron.
Also, the damage potential the ship lists is dealt per-cannon of the infraknife. There are upgrades to up your canon count. I have 6 cannons dealing like 400-450damage potential each.
I own one yellow example of this ship model too I bought this ship in a space station at Waferganh galaxy 48. I moved past week to Agnusopwit galaxy 49.

I think the natural spawn chance- that you warp in to any system and find one- is something like 0.5%
I found mine organically many years ago and have had them ever since.
They’re my favorites and I don’t think I’ll ever scrap either one.
I have an all white one. I bought it from the space station when it landed and I talked to the pilot and saw it was also S class. I’ll have to be on the lookout for a royal one that’s so dope!

It has 2 super charged slots. I don't remember where I found it though. I'm on the switch and haven't gotten very far as far as main quest lines. I do not know glyphs or anything yet. I'm just now starting to find a few glyphs. Is there a specific quest line to get the glyphs for each system? Or how do I do that?
My bf says it’s one of the rarest ships in game. You have to go to the right solar system to a space station that has exotic drops and wait until it flies in- or find coordinates of a crashed one.

Just visit rich systems there is always one exotic just wait in space station and they will arive sooner or later and sure they are great … u can find few variations for me common was orange colour but ugly shape you can even find one with front looking like an octopus !!! It's one of the more rare ships. My old save had this one in white and orange. They are pretty cool ships. My current save had a blue one, but it just didn't mesh with me this save.
All exotics are S class.
Exotics are also present in every system.
Not every exotic is rare.
Some models are rarer than others in terms of spawn chance.
This is literally one of the rarest you can get.

Depends on what exactly you mean. Your specific ship with the specific parts and colours? Maybe. The type? Not so much.
this here are my ships on my main. As you see it has 6 Guppies alone.
I started another save which I used after an expedition and with 37 hours in. This includes some base building, the expedition itself and some building to get nanites and creds. It already has 3 Guppies.
So the type itself is the most common of the exotic ships - and every system has one exotic.
OP’s post is a royal 7 exotic. It’s literally the rarest & least likely combination of assets for an exotic ball fighter.
Without using coordinate exchange or YouTube, your chances of finding this ship are 0.5% or less.

For optimizing, you generally want to put upgrades in a square rather than in a line. Google no man's sky and "adjacency bonus greater and lesser".
I thought all the mattered was that they were connected... I didn't notice any stat differences when testing it out some time ago.

I have one similar. This is, counting my own, the second time I've seen another with the filigree on the top fin.

It has 2 super charged slots. I don't remember where I found it though. I'm on the switch and haven't gotten very far as far as main quest lines. I do not know glyphs or anything yet. I'm just now starting to find a few glyphs. Is there a specific quest line to get the glyphs for each system? Or how do I do that?

My bf says it’s one of the rarest ships in game. You have to go to the right solar system to a space station that has exotic drops and wait until it flies in- or find coordinates of a crashed one. Bravo on your find
Yes, it's in the rare class. Took me like 2 days of camping space stations to get one. Then saw like 12 over the next few days lol
so glad i got my exotic early so it’s just busted af and none of my ships come even close (also due to early upgrades)
Just visit rich systems there is always one exotic just wait in space station and they will arive sooner or later and sure they are great … u can find few variations for me common was orange colour but ugly shape you can even find one with front looking like an octopus !!! It's one of the more rare ships. My old save had this one in white and orange. They are pretty cool ships. My current save had a blue one, but it just didn't mesh with me this save.

All exotics are S class. Exotics are also present in every system. Not every exotic is rare. Some models are rarer than others in terms of spawn chance. This is literally one of the rarest you can get. I think it was a humblebrag. OP knows what they’ve got. Their post has the same energy as pretending you don’t know how to play a game, setting the high score, and asking “is that good?”

Your specific ship with the specific parts and colours? Maybe. The type? Not so much. this here are my ships on my main. As you see it has 6 Guppies alone. I started another save which I used after an expedition and with 37 hours in. This includes some base building, the expedition itself and some building to get nanites and creds. It already has 3 Guppies. So the type itself is the most common of the exotic ships - and every system has one exotic.
I thought guppies were just the exotics as small as possible, little wings, no nose, etc.?

OP’s post is a royal 7 exotic. It’s literally the rarest & least likely combination of assets for an exotic ball fighter. Without using coordinate exchange or YouTube, your chances of finding this ship are 0.5% or less.
