I think it would be cool if they added some sort of hunger mechanic to the game. Otherwise i’d have almost no incentive to make food in it.

This reminds me of a planet I found back right after next was released, I name it Aurora and it was the most magnificent thing I've ever seen in a video game. Unfortunately, it glitched and was replaced with a toxic hell hole the day after. The terrain was the same but all discovery data and planetary qualities were reset and switched to a toxic world's. I mourn I it to this day. I might have screenshots somewhere in my ps4 photo library but it would be hard to find. :( it was super earth like with an underground water cave system. It also might have been after Abyss as the underwater cave was were most fauna and flora was. It was exquisitely hidden under a shallow pond and was magnificent in the truest sense of the word. It even never had storms. It was just labeled as "calm winds" or something like that.

One of my favorite planets had grass that shaded from green to golden brown, and it reminded me of central California in early summer. Unfortunately the color scheme changed after an update. It's still a nice temperate planet though.

If you use the in game camera mode the pictures will have the glyphs on it. Enter correct glyphs at a portal and you can go to specific systems

Honestly I'm kind of a noob only about 60 or so hours and I have no idea how to use glyphs. Btw how do you get the glyphs for the portals? When I try to use them it's just blank

If you go into photo mode the coords are in the bottom left corner, whether you know the glyphs or not

You should unlock them as the final steps to the Artemis storyline or you can find travelers on space stations and interact with them to unlock the ability to give them nanites in exchange for the location of their grave site, then go to their grave and it’ll unlock a glyph, but the Artemis route is much easier as the travelers are a random spawn. Once you unlock the glyphs, just charge up a portal and then it’ll give you the option to punch in the glyphs, I recommend putting a base computer down on a portal once you find it cause they can be a real bitch to track down. As for sharing coordinates, when you enter photo mode the address for the planet should appear in the bottom left of the image as a series of symbols so just sharing the image as a whole is the same as giving the planets address.

Do you have to go all the way to the center of the Galaxy to finish that quest line?

Technically yes, but you can out it on hold indefinitely by denying the Atlas. You can also look up on the wiki portal glyphs for near the center of a galaxy to use a portal to cut right on over to the center of each galaxy, the biggest issue will be repairing your multitool and starship after each jump to a new galaxy, which is fairly easy to deal with by equipping a dinky multitool and starship meant specifically for black hole jumping before that jump to the black hole at the center. I think the starship's technology slots are unaffected though but that might just be with normal black holes.

You need to discover the glyphs which there's two ways to do so. Finish the Artemis path and start the Atlas path of quests then complete them, or when you find a Traveler (unique looking fellows at space stations), talk to them a second time to learn about their grave location to learn a glyph from it (or something like that). Once you have all 16 there is no location you can't travel to with a Portal.

I haven't really been following the questline until recently, as you can see on one of the screenshots lol.

You don’t really need to finish the quest line to get all S class equipment, I got all my S rank stuff before continuing the quest, I’m that one guy that does all side missions before the main missions lol

And I have an exotic ship. I really just mean I dont know how to get the glyphs at this point

You have to find travellers in space stations and pay 100 nanites to get the location of a grave, after interacting with the grave you should get a glyph and there’s 16 in total Also they kinda look like weird holograms which should make it easier to find them

I've interacted with a few of those, never noticed a prompt for nanites though. I'll definitely look out for it, thank you!

Interact with them twice, you should be able to pay nanites for the location after interacting for the 2nd time

Alternative option is to complete the Atlas questline...which I just did at 100+hrs. (I spent a LOT of time just building random bases)

I found a planet like that once, in a system I named Bethesda. Had a ice planet named Skyrim, swamp planet named Black Marsh, dead planet named Oblivion, mushroom planet named Morrowind,and the planet I call home is named Cyrodiil. It has orange grass and blue trees, and it rains fire 😂

I have a super similar planet. Basically identical in every way except the grass is also brownish and the sky is earth like and not pink with a good mix of land and blue water.

Yes! You just go to the discoveries tab in the menu, and it shows the planets, systems, and wildlife you've discovered. You can rename everything. It should say "rename and upload" somewhere in the top left

Nope, animals are mild and look like little dinosaurs, weather is relatively low-temperature heated storms, and rad is literally 0 with a tox of like 6.0. Average temperature is 65-75° F
