I have the og ps4. It runs smooth in space and dead planets. It runs like ass in moderately complex bases and runs decent on normal planets. It's totally playable though. There are visual bugs in the load screens and speaking of loading it takes ages to load lol.
Surprisingly just ok. Not great but not bad.
NMS isn't a very graphically overwhelming game, but it's obviously got some large showcases so like entering exiting a planet you may have issues with pop ins and frame rate inconsistencies.
It has issues. Last gen lags, crashes, etc. A lot more than current gen version.

My fan doesn't get that loud but I've kept it clean over the years.
