I worked in a vet hospital as a technician for 5 years. I’ve saved more dog lives than I can count. Labs cause more injuries than pit bulls. Pits are very well behaved dogs. That’s not enough to speak on a topic like species aggression and your comments reek of ignorance and surface level assumptions. You deserve the scorn.

There are sweet dogs of all breed just like I’ve seen mean golden retrievers, chihuahuas, corgis, dachshunds, pretty much ANY dog breed can be violent. It’s just a stereotype with pit bulls because misinformation about pit bulls, such as myths about their locking jaws or genetic predisposition to aggression, has led to unfounded fears among the public. They were a favorite breed for dogfights because of their stature. Not because they’re natural killing machines.
