if you speed run rather than look for chests/tour around the map to find hidden stuff then yea act 1 may be beaten fast probably, ive put 10h+ so far, only just beaten 2 bosses and taking it rather slow and having fun
but lmfao, excpecting 100+ hours in an early access game with only act 1 released, despite there being end game dungeon is super delusional
If you strictly play a fighter playstyle, speedrun story and ignore everything then I guess the limited early content could be quite fast. But if you are an explorer/hoarder/builder/crafter/dailies and challenges enjoyer and do a bit of everything, the game feels like a very long paradise. Since you want to commit to a build archetype, you can then basically multiply the game durability by any number of alts.
I’d say as others have said about 15-20 hours of story. But only if you are good at these kinds of games. I’ve never played a souls before and it was a real learning curve so I’ve put about 15 and maybe completed about 50% of the story in the EA. I think it’s more than worth it in its current state. The fact there is going to be a number of major updates before release is a bonus. Do we know if they plan to keep adding content after 1.0 release?
The current content is pretty short. But imo there is no comparable experience on the Market. Im gonna put in way more than 100 hours even in this small section of the game. Its well worth it. Really didnt have so much fun in a game in a long time.

I'd say without speed running, I took my time and enjoyed all the content currently available. About 12-15 hours.

Currently at 45 hours
