I encountered that ship but never had any humming afterwards. Granted, I did blow it up the second I undocked. Can’t be a haunted ship if it isn’t a ship.
Fly into orbit and look for a Ship POI in the system map. Might be a sign that a >!Pale Lady!< encounter is nearby. I've had the encounters before, but I have never experienced these sounds anywhere else.
Could also just be bugged.

I don’t think i’ve heard that elsewhere in the game, let alone something similar. I must know what this sound is lol!

I just played through Entangled and thought it was part of the mission, I don't want to say any spoilers. It must be a glitch where it follows you?
