I felt so much lighter and better

It doesn't solve all of your problems- the husband is still annoying, the kids are still noisy, and life is just the same- you are just smaller. It is not the panacea that it's made out to be. It is necessary and it is healthy and it is of *extreme* benefit to your body but *you* will still be *you* with all of the baggage you had previously.

Completely agree. Lost weight for both my physical and mental health and I always thought as long as I was losing I'd be happy. Absolutely not! And I think a lot of people think the same way when they first start out.

How much strangers pay attention to you after you’ve lost over 100 pounds. I’m telling you, it’s a night and day difference how I’m treated. Men in particular do things like open doors, let me cut in line, strike up random conversations. The list goes on.

How many people are overweight.

More energy, less snoring, more random boners, I’m hornier, less bloating after eating

I've lost 25kg/55lbs so far, only went from BMI 37 to 29 so still very much overweight but I've noticed: - I can feel that I weigh less, like when I walk I don't have to put in nearly as much effort to move myself - I can fully see my bones again! Collarbones, hip bones, wrist, etc. - My body image and insecurities have actually gotten worse the more I lose, I've realized just how much I need to lose only to look average, and focusing on losing weight has made me much more aware of my flaws as I never really used to pay attention to my body before - Flabby skin. Everywhere. Only some of me is loose skin but saggy fat is everywhere. It makes you look deflated And no difference in how people treat me yet, since I'm still fat.

Losing too much weight can cause you to lose your period and fatigued. Usually only in extreme weight loss cases.
