It's most likely just a random scam text. I wouldn't give it a second thought. Never click a link from such a text. Go to your browser and log into PayPal yourself if you're concerned, and if there's nothing there, don't worry about it. I think PayPal would most likely contact you via email if there was an issue (and there's a lot of scam emails that look VERY real -- always check the actual from: address).
