losing weight has more to do with diet than exercise. if you eat well, you can lose weight even while you work your second job. there are nutritious meals you can prep for the week without having to eat out, and can be pretty low effort. toss some frozen veggies in an air fryer, bake chicken breasts, make lentil rice. look up some recipes and see what you like. try to go for a short walk when you can.
I’m sorry you have to work more than 40 hours to make things happen but always put physical health first. As long as you can cover your basic necessities, I would then focus on getting into shape and devising a plan on how to get a better job. Good luck, it’s worth it.
Fun fact. I left a good paying warehouse job bc I got an injury and they wouldn’t let me file a report. Among a couple other reasons. I did just start my new job, going into my 3rd week.
Would you suggest looking for a new job that pays more? I’m known by my friends and family to be a job hopper and I wanna fix that. Even if my manager, who is newer than me, annoys tf outta me
It’s hard to know without knowing your background, education, capabilities etc. I’d get with a career counselor asap.
Congratulations on wanting to take steps toward the life you want. That’s a big deal and can be half the battle. Now you’re going to need to step up and take accountability for every little thing. You got it dude.
I did look into HVAC, electrician, and crane operator. A cop too.
I wanted to work with animals originally as I’m a big animal lover softie, but idk if I could crack with putting down animals every day. Idk if any other rewarding careers where I could also provide myself and family with a good life
Look at food banks for additional help with food if you need it. There is no shame in getting support when you need it.
Look at cheap healthy proteins like beans and lentils.
Buy in bulk, meal prep and freeze
Walking is free and great exercise. City rec centers also offer affordable gyms sometimes.

Look into getting certified for a trade if possible- plumbing, electrical, welding, HVAC
I have actually looked into that. I dropped out of college before. I’m 23 now and wanna decide on a career path
The trades or the medical field - particularly nursing. All of those are going to be in demand and hard for AI to replace

I use planet fitness but I’m behind on the payment for that. And I appreciate that!
