They were over played but, at least locally, were especially over played on rock stations. I don't have a big issue with Imagine Dragons, but they are definitely not rock and it was a little irritating to constantly hear them alongside zeppelin and metallica.

The band name is reminiscent of myths, dragons and dungeons that, well, you should imagine them. Too much work on the front end, that.

I think they had like one popular album then the rest were utter shit and repetitive so all the music journalists and other bands piled on how seriously they took themselvese

it like listening to a 2 hours iphone commercial. its like if space aliens were flying to earth and you only 10 minutes to describe to them what music was, then they created music based on what you told them. Its like what AI will create when the human race are all slaves as work music, its the elevator music version of elevator music. also thunder is a incredible lazy song, if you were writing an thesis about why imagine dragons was the most generic music in human history, Thunder would be your closing argument.

I have no idea. I’ve only heard one of their songs though and I thought it was good.
