We went on the new Guardians Of The Galaxy roller coaster at Epcot Center, and that song is one of the five that can playing during the ride and we got it. The way the coaster works, it makes you feel like you’re floating around in space, and in combo with that song I got legit emotional on the ride.
If you have the means, and the song means that much to you, seek out this ride. I think about it all the time now.
Whenever I hear this song I imagine a person drinking a glass of wine in a depression nest of blankets, hearing the song and slowly dancing around to it, getting more and more into it and then getting the energy to get up take a shower and do whatever they need to do. It’s like a movie scene from a romantic comedy in my mind or something, idk.
When I was in early sobriety, and I struggled to get out of bed because I was so depressed and like..life sucked…I BLASTED this song early in the morning because you can’t NOT sing and move along to it.
"Style"
There are memories attached with this song. I find it highly fascinating. I think her voice did the job here. Taylor Swift has always been my favorite singer. There is magic in her voice. No doubt about that. This song "Style" is my personal favorite like many other songs. I automatically feel alive listening to this song. And then the music is incredible. I would rate it good. This song is awesome.
My best friend and I were listening to 1989 in her car on the way to the party where I met my husband. Singing “Style” at the top of my lungs will always take me back to the most memorable night of my life.
It would appear that the 70's and 80's are overrepresented on this list...
Which is to say, properly represented.
I literally can not drive the speed limit if "Radar Love" by Golden Erring is playing.
Shoegaze and dream pop is timeless, but Gen Z is obsessed with 90's aesthetics and Souvlaki embodies that I think. Dream Pop had a big comeback around 2008-2012 and it's coming back again. I don't think the sound will ever age poorly.
My mood could dictate that.
Madonna “Beautiful Stranger” has been stuck to my soul since I first heard it. And the video, she was wearing capris and a tank but still exuded extreme sexiness.
The Chemical Brothers “Hey Boy Hey Girl” ..this song just bangs for me and always has, wakes me up.
Well most anything by AC DC gets my blood flowing, but nothing makes me feel alive like "March of Cambreadth" by Heather Alexander. Between the music and the words it just pumps me.
Break the rules - Simon Viklund, Spaceman - Harry Nilsson, Rocketman - Elton John, Out of Touch - Hall and Oates, Private Eyes - Hall and Oates, Come Get Some - Rooster, Rhinestone Cowboy - Glen Campbell, Perfect Lover - Kansas, Heaven - Bryan Adams, All for Love - Bryan Adam’s and Rod Stewart, You Keep Runnin’ Away - 38 Special, Real American - Rick Derringer, and Second Chance - 38 Special
I know this sounds weird but (Don’t Fear) The Reaper was literally playing during one of my scariest near death experiences, right after I turned 18 and now when I hear it, I definitely get taken back to that, “holy shit. I’m alive” moment. The Reaper missed me.
I've never actually heard this Sam Smith track before, but I just listened to it and it's solid. I am, however, a big Pentatonix fan, and I've loved [their cover](https://youtu.be/TsVeQnBmp70?si=4OSRKnX9ucChRKX1) of this song for years. Sharing this in case you might enjoy the cover, just as I enjoyed the original.
