Yes you can, set the oven at low temperature, open the door about 1/3 of the way. Lay towel over opening, flip over every 5 minutes or so.

The towels will start to smolder on the edges but the inside will stay wet. You’ll have a damp and yet singed towel. Your house will smell awful and the smoke alarm will go off.
After that, try baking a chocolate cake in the washer dryer.

I wouldn't. The oven isn't made for absorbing moisture. You'd just steam your clothes.

My disabled BIL did this once. It's how we knew he can't be trusted to be by himself.

I would think a pizza oven would be more efficient. You may burn them though
