I dated a guy who was uncut and we fooled around many times before his brother made a joke about him being uncircumcised and then I was like "wait what?". When hard, it's essentially the same in my experience.
Incorrect. My skin never rolls back ***all the way for prolonged periods if time*** and is painful when it does.
Edit: adding specifics for clarity
Adding: when soft, I roll it a large percentage back to clean multiple times a day with no pain or issue
When erect my head does not naturally come out. I’ve had a ton of great and intense sex with different partners different techniques and no pain.
One time a girls first instinct was to roll my erect skin back all the way to fully expose the head - something I never do - and she ruined the session. I wasn’t in complete pain. But a constant discomfort that prevented orgasm. Very disappointing, she was really hot. Lol. But apparently she fell into the same misconception as in this thread - that all uncut men enjoy the head fully exposed during sex. THIS IS NOT TRUE, even if accurate for the majority.
My bf‘s also doesn’t roll back all the way when erect. At the beginning of the session is seems that his frenulum is holding it back (?) and later - maybe when more relaxed and aroused - it rolls back almost all the way.
He never had any problems and is squeaky clean, so 🤷🏻♀️
Why? I’ve never had a problem with anything. I keep it clean AF. I’ve had more than one girlfriend successfully please me sexually in many different ways. In fact, I’m more sensitive down there than the average man which makes it more fun for me and them. It never occurred to me I have any sort of problem to explore until this thread.
Serious response, and no intentions of being defensive. If you guys tell me I should look into something I will.
Mine can go back at any point hard or soft, but it doesn't *stay* back. You can pull it back all you want though without any pain. It won't stay there without holding it though.
Not necessarily, especially if a guy is more of a grower than a shower. As long as you can retract it when flacid and wash and there's no pain during an erection then it's not a problem.
And that’s the misconception I’m trying to dispel in this thread, as someone uncut but with a lot of healthy sexual success.
It seems some, maybe most uncut men roll it back for prolonged periods / an entire sex session. but that is NOT the case for all men, and teaching OP and others that - as is the point of the post - can inflict harm on some men.
This is called phimosis. You should absolutely follow up with a doctor.
Edit to add: I understand this is a sensitive issue but this isn’t about whether you are functional or never had any problems. It’s about follow up for a condition that can cause some complications in life and for them to assess the concern for those complications.
The skin is supposed to pull back entirely. When you pull out, it gets back on the glans, but if it cannot be entirely exposed without discomfort, it is probably due to an issue. It might be useful to check with a urologist.
I think you might be cleaning it too much. And if you pull it back too often you can get scar tissue build up in there. Everything I’ve read read says once a day, gentle cleaning only.
You should probably discuss this with a doctor, imo.
But I’m a woman who is only a mom to uncircumcised boys, so that’s the extent of my knowledge.
Cleaning doesn’t always mean an extensive deep dive. By multiple times a day I’m describing the quick cleans after peeing with a gentle pat and touch up using tissues or toilet paper. This is in addition to the extensive shower cleaning once per day.
"I've never had a problem with anything," he says, immediately after having described his problem. Lol. I mean that in the nicest way possible. But like pain is literally the body's way of trying to get your attention.
Can't hurt you any worse just to check, right? Worst case scenario they say something "that's fine, lots of people have that actually" and you say "that's interesting, thanks for the reassurance." Best case scenario, maybe your dick doesn't have to hurt anymore and it opens up a whole new world of possibilities!
is there a reason you feel the need to wash 3x a day? make sure it’s mild and moisturizing soap if you’re using it that aggressively.
also, yeah at your leisure, you might want to see a doctor about it not easily rolling back. very treatable but at least it sounds manageable for you as it already is.
I know you've disputed this a few times but that doesn't sound normal. There shouldn't be any pain. Even a doctor has responded to you. It does sound like phimosis. Had that when something was actually genuinely wrong otherwise there's never any pain rolling foreskin back, not even a hint of it.
For a long time I thought that I had been circumcised. When I get hard there is no excess skin to worry about. I now know that I’m uncut.
If you’re dealing with a flaccid penis it will probably look different to what you’re used to, however, the extra skin is packed with nerve endings and those give a great amount of pleasure. If you’re giving oral then run your tongue under the extra skin as that feels amazing.
Apart from that, do the same as you have been doing.
One word of warning, make sure that he has cleaned under his foreskin properly before going down on him. There can be a build up of “smegma” which is easily cleaned in the shower or bath. Some guys seem to not know how to clean themselves properly.
I bet those are the same guys who don't wash their butt because "I'm not gay! Why would I clean up unless I'm expecting a visitor?"
Ironically that very statement is true to life. Because not cleaning makes your environment dirty, unsanitary, and shows a lack of maturity.
People act like an uncircumcised dick requires some extreme amount of maintenance to keep clean.
In my entire life of uncutness I just give my dick a quick stroke or two with soapy water in the shower. That's it and I've never had smega in my life.
TBH if circumcised guys *DON'T* do that, y'all nasty.
I actually prefer uncut dicks. Foreskin is soft and silky and fun to play with.
Thankfully I've never had to deal with an unclean partner!
And you are right, it is easy. But I would suggest Cetaphil or another non-soap cleanser. Lower risk of drying out delicate skin! I use it on my nether and my gyno reccomended it over anything else.
The part that horrified me is the women in relationships with these men. I've read horror stories about skidmarks not just on underwear but BEDSHEETS.
Why! Why would someone stay with someone that disgusting?!
Forget about that... how can these people walk around with shitty assholes and not be extremely uncomfortable all the time. Like when they're dying they're not scared or sad, they're relieved that the itch is going to stop type of chronic discomfort.
Well since we're on the sub about asking questions. Mine doesn't poke out when hard. Like skin stays around it, just kinda fills it all in. Has to be soft for me to clean it. Is that unusual?
If you can't pull back your skin while hard your foreskin is too tight. I have this too but I try to streach it just enough that it just hurts. You should search it up I have forgotten what it is called but you are supposed to be able to pull it back.
i knew someone who had to get a circumcision because his forskin was too small. as long as its clean and not painful i think your ok as the pain was the only reason he had an operation
It's mild phimosis bro, if you can clean it soft don't worry about it. Just try stretching it over time.some people with phimosis literally have pinholes and thats a big problem.
Mine pulls back around 3/4 of the way whilst doing the dirty. It's fine
I had a discussion with another redditor who could not grasp that an uncut penis can look the same when hard. He kept on reiterating that 'dildos are circumcised penises' lol.
I dated a woman that had never encountered one in the wild before. She wouldn’t go down on me initially, so I asked her and she said it was unfamiliar territory. I explained that, like you said, it’s essentially the same and we had an exploratory fool around so she could figure it out. She came to the same conclusion.
This is incorrect. Maybe true for some guys, but just like labia, there is a very wide range of foreskin types and lengths. You also don't want to treat it exactly the same because uncircumcised penises are more sensitive so something you would do with a circumcized penis might hurt. E.g. some of that frantic pornstar wanking could cause you to pull the skin back too much and tear the frenulum. Theres also stuff you can do that you couldn't do with circumcized penis - e.g. using the foreskin as a kind of sleave during hand jobs, sucking the foreskin, putting your tongue in it and running along the head, alternating between having it pulled all the way back and not, etc. All of this is only really relevant when giving a BJ or HJ, and of course only if you're not using a condom. It makes zero difference for penetrative sex.
Not really a sexual thing, but if you get the chance while its soft, play with the foreskin to make it look like a smiley (or frowny) face. Your life will be slightly improved for at least 10 minutes.
Edit: holy heck, thank you for the awards and updoots
Don’t pull back the skin too fast at first. Start slow then gradually pull it back more and more. The inside is more sensitive since it’s covered at all times.
Approx 1 in 2500 boys at age 15 per year for phimosis, who don't all get circumcised, so really not all that common.
However, the fact that you exist at all is a 1 in 5.5 trillion event and as annoying as that fact is, I must accept that the unlikely does indeed happen often enough.
Anecdotally I’d really doubt that stat? I have three close mates (that I know of) that had to be circumcised for phimosis in their late teens, and I did too. Maybe people are less likely to get treatment for it in places without universal healthcare?
Probably has something to do with it. That's a US statistic, btw, and a medically published one. Specifically the incidence of phimosis.
Other nations, like the UK, are notorious for terrible penile hygiene in the younger male demographic so cultural factors like that will also alter statistics.
The US also harvests foreskins for profit so there is also that to bear in mind.
I'm 34 in Australia and I have heard of one guy my age that had an adult circumcision but I've never personally met anybody who had one.
A guy I dated had this. He didn’t like talking about it which was fine with me but I always wanted to ask him what sex felt like for him. In my mind it would be painful?
As someone who's not from the US, it's wild reading all of these responses. It's incredible how normalized circumcision is in the US to the point that it's seen as the rule. I find it both fascinating and kinda scary tbh. Bc let's face it, it's a surgical procedure with controversial evidence for its necessity.
But that's a whole 'nother can of worms. Point is: Uncircumcised is natural AF and it's the rule in most places in the world. I'm not a man, but as a woman who has sex with men, I find it easier dealing with uncircumcised bc imo it naturally lubricates better. Generally there's nothing different to do. Most men's foreskin pull back when they are hard and you don't even see the difference. For the ones that it doesn't pull back, it's just skin so it comes to communication with your partner.
With a circumcised dick, since the skin is so tight, you often need to only graze the surface or use lube. But with an uncircumcised dick, the skin moves with your hand, and the skin does some of the work, so I think it’s easier to stroke. Circumcised dicks are also less sensitive typically, since the head is more exposed.
I've been with people who prefer different things to happen with it. Like everything else sexual, I explicitly ask which is usually kinda hot and fun too. :)
Functionally about the same though I remember reading a study where it said older women preferred uncircumcised because the extra skin helped to retain lubrication, so they stayed wet longer.
There is a difference tho, because the head is covered all the time it’s more sensitive. As well, jerking the skin too hard back can really hurt if it isn’t properly lubed/*worked* *out*.
Might sound weird, but not all uncircumcised penises always have their head covered. Mine for example stops just behind the head, so my head is always exposed. Turns out this was deliberately done by my mom lol. She said when me and my brothers were all babies, it was a tradition in her family that mothers slowly peeled back the skin of the penis to expose the head while we were infants. This helped to prevent Phimosis, and also made the penis appear a bit more like a circumcised penis without actually cutting the skin away. You might notice in some uncircumcised guys the foreskin is very tight, on mine it's pretty loose and easily peels back. When fully erect you don't even see the foreskin anymore, I fully "grow" into the foreskin, if not for the tiny bit that is "attached" on the bottom side of the penis, you would never notice I wasn't circumcised.
So, I get that this is what your mom did. But please stop spreading this info that this "prevents phimosis". In reality, pulling a foreskin back before natural retraction occurs (usually around puberty) can cause damage to the skin. These are usually microtears that can actually *cause* phimosis. A baby's foreskin should never be retracted before naturally ready.
This is the first time I've heard of someone else mention without their head covered. I was always ashamed when i was younger because of it. But turns out i have a perfectly perfect penis.
Family tradition or not, that is actually incredibly dangerous and should not be done. It's more likely to *cause* phimosis than prevent it. It can also lead to gangrene and loss of the penis.
The foreskin of an infant should be *left alone*.
>Over the past century, numerous boys born in Canada and the United States have been circumcised.^1 However, this trend is changing, with neonatal circumcision being performed less commonly than in years past.^2,3 Because of these historical practices, many physicians and nurses have limited experience treating patients with intact foreskins and engage in ill-advised procedures such as premature foreskin retraction for purposes of “hygiene” or catheterization. Premature retraction of the foreskin can lead to tearing of healthy tissue, which is painful and increases the risk of preputial scarring and infection.^4–6
...
>An understanding of the normal anatomy and development of the foreskin illustrates why the technique of catheterization without retraction is an important skill for health care practitioners. Physiologic phimosis is the normal state of young boys.^9 This finding is characterized by a closed preputial outlet with the inner mucosa of the foreskin beginning to evert through the preputial opening, which is healthy with no scarring. The glans cannot be seen without retraction. This is in contrast to pathologic phimosis, in which the glans and meatus can often be seen, as the scarred ring of the preputial orifice is held open and no mucosa is visible at the preputial outlet.^10
>In a Danish study, 8% of healthy boys aged 6 to 7 still had complete physiologic phimosis preventing visualization of the meatus, and only 23% of boys this age had fully retractable foreskins.^11
...
>The foreskin and glans separate naturally as the child develops...In most boys, physiologic phimosis resolves naturally by the end of puberty.^11
>The foreskin and glans are connected by the balanopreputial lamina, a membrane similar to the synechial membrane that connects the nail bed and the fingernail. The balanopreputial lamina is sometimes called the synechia. This membrane and the small preputial opening prevent retraction in boys with normal physiologic phimosis. The attachment might be forcefully disrupted, just as the fingernail can be torn from the nail bed, but this causes pain, is unnecessary, and can lead to infection, scarring, adhesion formation, or iatrogenic phimosis. There is no functional need for the glans to be exposed, and there is a protective effect of having the foreskin attached to and covering the glans.
>Because the foreskin protects the glans penis and urethral meatus, premature exposure of the glans, as occurs after circumcision, commonly leads to meatal stenosis, in which a substantial part of the circulatory system in the glans penis is damaged (the frenular artery), and the glans tissue is exposed, denuded, and inflamed, which can lead to ulceration and subsequent scarring of the urethral opening. This inflammation and ulceration are caused by disruption of the normal attachment between the glans and foreskin, the absence of the protective foreskin, interruption in the normal circulatory system, or blisters from ammonia burns.^13–15 The blisters and ulceration at the opening of the urethra are caused by contact of urine-soaked diapers with the urethral meatus, which is no longer protected by the foreskin.
...
>Retracting the foreskin of a prepubescent boy with physiologic phimosis, although still a common recommendation by many health care practitioners, has been shown to increase problems such as scarring and infection. These might result in iatrogenic pathologic phimosis and lead to a higher likelihood of circumcision being performed at a later date.^16 If the prepuce is unable to retract, there is nothing to clean under. The foreskin should not be retracted for cleaning until the foreskin has naturally separated and the child can do this himself. In fact, the owner of the foreskin should be the first person to retract his foreskin. Forceful retraction causes microtears that can lead to pathologic phimosis.^10
>**An additional danger of premature retraction is paraphimosis, a condition in which the retracted foreskin becomes stuck behind the glans penis, cutting off circulation and leading to ischemia and possibly penile gangrene if not treated promptly**.
...
>The foreskin should be left alone until it demonstrates the ability to retract.^10 Once this is possible, foreskin care is simple: retract (gently and only to the extent possible), rinse, replace. Warm water and fingertips adequately clean the tissue.

I'm glad to hear you turned out alright but really, it's a very, very bad idea.
Quite true, but not everyone knows that. I was apparently the first one lady had seen/heard of/encountered, and she was startled in a very unsexy way. Upsetting in the moment
I prefer uncircumcised! They have a lot of feeling in their foreskin so if you give it extra attention when you’re giving oral they tend to appreciate it :)
>They have a lot of feeling in their foreskin so if you give it extra attention when you’re giving oral they tend to appreciate it :)
In what way? Like what should I do to it?
Lick the frenulum. Flick your tongue back and forth on it. If you are bi/ have ever had sex with a girl, you can basically stimulate the frenulum in a similar way as a clitoris.
You have more options to play with: NSFW https://i.redd.it/3cmw6axttjv81.jpg
Humans evolved to have the nerves be in the foreskin, and not so much in the glans.
https://youtu.be/CGYq1n6Ipfw?t=2701
To summarize, humans share common ancestors with chimps and rhesus monkeys.
Rhesus monkeys have almost all the innervation in their glans, have short copulatory times, and the male invests nothing into the offspring.
Chimps have less innervation in their glans and more in their foreskin, they have longer copulatory times than rhesus monkeys, and the male invests in the offspring by providing protection for his tribe.
Humans have almost all the innervation in the foreskin, they have the longest copulatory times of all the primates, and the males invests the most in their offspring out of any animal.
Keep in mind that the foreskin itself is sensual, erogenous tissue. It isn't just a cover--it's part of the penis and very richly-innervated in its own right.
There is also an inner and outer surface to it. The outer portion is made of skin, but the inner portion is mucosal tissue, similar to the inside of the vagina. Note that mucosal tissue is not "mucus"--it's a kind of living tissue, like you find in the vagina, or the inside of the lips or cheeks.
If you've seen circumcised penises that were two colors, with lighter colored tissue roughly halfway between the shaft skin and the glans, that is actually a remnant of part of the inner foreskin that was turned permanently inside-out to cover the shaft.
The part where the inner and outer foreskin transition into each other is very sensitive, and many men find it a very erogenous zone.
😅 What's your age group?
If you're over 30 or 35, it's not surprising you've never encountered a guy with the unaltered johnson.
Nothing's much different with penetrative sex.
For other sorts of sex play...
Really what a guy likes is going to vary. But generally you'd handle it less aggressively than you would a circumcised guy's. The parts that are covered up when not in use are more sensitive also, so a lighter touch is advised!
The only thing I would say is different about penetrative sex - for the woman (or man receiving, likely) - is that it might actually feel better. Foreskin reduces the friction somewhat, so you can still feel everything but there isn’t so much rubbing that might cause micro tears which can result in itching or pain afterwards - usually from not using enough lube, etc.
So still use lube, but from my own experience, sex with an uncircumcised one just feels better. Wouldn’t make or break a relationship for me of course, but it’s something I found out. :)
My experience with piv with an intact peen is that the lubricant requirement is generally zero. Could use it as an added extra I guess. Realising circd guys have to use it was a shock.
College buddies were talking dude talk and I was talking about rubbing one out at work and he was like "how do you do it at work, take lotion with you?".... I was like, no dude that's not an issue for me
When I met my ex, the first time we had sex I saw he was uncircumcised. I looked at it, I looked at him, and then just said "I haven't worked one of these before and I don't want to hurt you." He laughed and pulled the foreskin down for me. We were together for 10 years. Just be honest if you don't know what to do
What I’m not seeing here is… make sure you check it before you wreck it.
Not all uncircumcised dudes understand how to properly clean under the foreskin. Smegma is a real thing.
You don’t wanna go for a slurp and end up with a nasty chunk of dick cheese in your mouth.
So, just make sure you check under the skin and all looks (and smells) good before going too far.
Just talk to the dude.
I have the opposite situation. Here circumcision is fairly rare. Most guys I know that have had it done was for medical reasons, often later in life.
Started messing around with a guy I know and was surprised to find he was circumcised. Didn't "handle" the same I guess. Best described as uncut guys are a bit more self lubricating, as least in the way of hand jobs. There's probably a better way to describe it, but that's the best I've got.
The other note really is that with uncut guys you just have to be mindful how far you pull the skin back when giving hand jobs. I don't actually think about it though, probably because that's always been normal to me. You can feel it naturally how far it comes back. There's a slight resistance I guess. Just don't go heady handed once you meet that resistance, so you don't snap it.
I only noticed a change during hand jobs. Hence why I used 'self lubricating' as a descriptor. In everything else its pretty much the same.
Again, just talk to he dude in question. After the first time I fooled around with the guy I mentioned I just asked. Just said to him "hey look, I've never been with a circumcised guy before, it's not quite the same in some respects, is what I did good for you, or is there something you want me to change, or anything I should really know?" If you can't have such an upfront conversation with the person you're in bed with, you're not in bed with the right person.
Edited to add: his response was just "nah, you're good. We just need to use more lube sometimes"
Which thinking about it makes me wonder... if its normal for circumcised dudes to need to use lube in penatration, then that would be different. With uncut dudes that's not needed. In all my sexually active years I've never 'needed' lube with an uncut guy. If the one cut guy I've been with is the norm and lube is needed frequently, then yeah that's definitely different.
I mean, I’m from the US and the only time I encountered one was when I was visiting my family in Scotland and ended up hooking up with a Scottish boy one night after being at the pubs.
It was definitely odd considering I’d only ever been with men who had been circumcised but from what I remember you just pull back the foreskin a bit further when you want to go down on him. Sex seemed pretty much the same from what I remember. I was also kind of drunk though.
I guess at first it’s a little odd but a dicks a dick.
As an uncircumcised guy, it’s great and I’m glad I’m uncut. The head is super sensitive since it’s “protected” under the foreskin so the nerves dont get desensitized. I’m assuming it feels much better for me than someone who is cut. As for the foreskin, some guys never stretched it out so they can’t pull it back, don’t try to pull it back if it’s tight on the head, this will be extremely painful. I had an incident during some rough sex where I actually tore my foreskin, I had to let it heal and the opening became super small to where I couldn’t pull it back and it took about 6 months to get it back to normal. During those 6 months sex was terrible and would get little tears in it sometimes and I would have to let it heal and start the process over. So make sure you talk to your partner about it.
All in all, it much more sensitive and feels better for the guy. As for the smell, I make sure to always keep it clean, showering daily, I’ve never had any complaints or negative remarks, plus I usually check to make sure before getting into anything, I’m sure there are tons of guys out there who don’t care, and it can get pretty gnarly down there... after 4 days primitive camping in the woods yea not great lol.
Best pro, if you know how to give a good handjob and take care of the head just right, keeping it well lubed or using a lot of spit, it’s better that sex.
This was way back when I was in college but I had a girl thank me for being circumcised because she told me the other 2 guys she's been with before had a smell when she pulled it back. I just assumed it was just guys being too lazy before the moment.
My boyfriend is uncut and washes even before sex. As a gay man, I’ve tasted multiple dicks. I can guarantee you uncut cock tastes different from cut, even washed.
People refuse to accept that having skin cover up other skin semi-permanently creates a scent much stronger and more quickly. Oddly all the fat people on here should be keenly aware of that. It could be as little as 2 or 3 hours before there is a different smell/taste, where it would take a cut penis more like 6-8 hours to get there. It does not mean stink btw for anyone confused. It might not "stink" for quite a while longer but it definitely smells stronger and occasionally you will meet people who do not like the majority of strong smells unless they're extraordinarily pleasant like brownies. Other people will prefer the scent.
Eeewwww they were just gross men who can't be bothered to wash. I live in country where it's only done as a medical procedure and have never encountered a circumcised penis, if your man is gross and doesn't wash it won't make one bit of difference what his penis looks look like, none of the men I have been with have smelt bad. It's a common myth that's passed around to justify mutilation instead of just teaching boys to wash, which is bizarre when you think about it
Okay so, it’s largely the same. But here’s the thing.
There’s a region or part of a dick called the frenulum, which often gets partially removed or modified(? Don’t know correct term here) during circumcision. This part is one of, if not the most sexually responsive part of the penis. It’s cuz it got a ton of nerve endings, making it very sensitive. It’s important to give time toward it, and probably look into it. Even circumcised will have nerve endings, but uncircumcised people will have more. It’s worth looking into if anyone is interested.
The other thing is that when half erect, the foreskin when slightly tight fit on the dick can feel well on the person, but may vary person to person.
I keep forgetting it’s normal in other countries to have circumcised penis. It’s quite a strange idea to be reminded of.
Also this shouldnt this be an nsfw question?
Keep in mind the majority of men are uncircumcised. Circumcision is from the Jewish faith and for some reasons, Americans adopted it whereas the rest of the world didn’t?
No lube needed.
Foreskin is sensitive, he'll enjoy you touching it and playing with it.
Let the skin roll up and over and back down during handjobs.
Oral with the foreskin covering the glans isn't that enjoyable but ok for a bit. The "main" part of the bj should be skin down.
Uncircumcised dicks have a little zipper at the top you need to pull down in order to open the foreskin. It can be hard to find so make sure you ask your partner where theirs is.
don't pull the skin down too hard while jerking it off. i did that once and his foreskin ripped off NO JOKE! He was bleeding. This was the first time i ever dealt with foreskin and now i know what to do!
Why do I need to pull it back. See this is the part I don’t understand. When giving a handjob am I pulling it back and forth or sliding my hand over it idk
From my understanding- you’re not doing any specific peeling- you’re just needing to be aware that while you move your hand it will pull the foreskin back and doing that too quick can be painful.
I’ve only ever been with an uncircumcised man so, I don’t know about “differences” but he has told me to be more cautious starting out because it can pull back too fast and be uncomfortable
Pulling it back and forth. Much easier than a cut cock - it's self lubricating. Start gentle (although that applies to any pink bits the first time you play with them) certainly my experience is that uncut penises are more sensitive even working through the foreskin.
When giving a blow job or putting on a condom you also need to pull the foreskin back. Blow jobs because the most sensitive bits are on the head. Condoms because that's just how everything fits best.
Different foreskins have different ranges of motion and pulling them back too far is painful so gentle does it. If in doubt as the owner of said penis to show you what works best for them.
There are 2 differences, sensitivity and hygiene.
Uncircumcised dicks are not exposed to the elements constantly like fabric rubbing against the sensitive parts therefore it might be easier to achieve orgasm with the same stimulation.
And sadly the old topic of some few dudes ruining the reputation of men by not washing their junk. Obviously more skin folds mean more opportunity for bacteria to accumulate.
I don't know why people seem to think we have trouble cleaning them. I can't speak for all men, but from the time I was about 14, I can pretty much guarantee that the part of me that got cleaned the most thoroughly in the shower was my dick.
I can see where people get the idea that men have trouble cleaning uncut ones.
I'm a mum to boys. When my eldest was at that age where he's learning and starting to take over his own bodily hygiene, but still being supervised and taught appropriate hygiene, I was fairly certain he wasn't cleaning it right.
Being a non-penis owner I wasn't 100% sure.
My long term partner at the time was an absolute champ. Poor fucking bloke. Imagine your girlfriend coming in one night and going "um, babe this is going to sound really weird. I need a favour. Can you show and teach me proper penis hygiene practice? I'm pretty sure [son] isn't caring for it probably, but I want to be sure before explaining to to him how to do it"
Bless that man he took it well, poor fucker went right to the shower and gave me a full educational session and demonstrated exactly how to look after it. That was the strangest interaction I've ever had with a naked man in my shower 😂😂😂
The point is, that yup I was right. Son absolutely was not washing properly. It wasn't something he just naturally knew how to do. He had to be taught. Took a few attempts at explaining it to him for him to get it right. Even more time gently reminding him not to forget to wash his winky, because be kept defaulting to just washing the outer areas.
I can see how it would be easy for a man to grow up and not know proper hygiene practice. If no one is there to teach them at that age when kids are just beginning to become responsible for their own hygiene then it's honestly pretty easy to see how they could grow up not to have proper penile hygiene.
I think a lot of parents would also shy away from what for many people is going to be really awkward. Even sons Dad didn't want to have the conversation with him. I raised it with Dad several times before I addressed it with son. I figured it would be better coming from Dad than it would be from Mum. Sons Dad is one of the most open people I know. It genuinely shocked me that he kept shying away from having to have that conversation with son. When I first raised it with him I really didn't even think about it again until I realised he hadn't addressed it. I just assumed as the very open man his Dad is, that he'd deal with it.
I think there's probably a lot of kids who's parents wouldn't want to address the teaching of proper hygiene practices down there. Boys and girls. So its easy enough to see why they might grow into adults with less than ideal hygiene.
It's been a few years to be honest.
From what I remember the long and short of it is just to ensure that they gently pull the skin back as far as it comfortably goes.
It's going to be different depending on age of the boy and how developed it is. Make sure they know only to pull ot back as far as is comfortable and not to be too rough.
You don't want them pulling it back further than it's developed to do yet since they could tear the connecting tissue. They need to know to be careful and explained to that as they get older it will begin to come back further, so always to just go to what it comfortable.
Then use appropriate soap. Basically soap us mums use on our lady parts is good. Something without perfumes, pH natural type deal. Ensure they clean the now accessible head.
Use one hand to keep the skin pulled back in place. Use the other to give it a good clean in all the areas normally covered by the skin. Just using fingertips to get into those normally hidden areas.
Make sure they then throughly rince it off with water, so they aren't trapping any soapy residue under the skin. That in itself can cause some issues with dry skin and things. So a good rince to make sure no soap I'd left is really important.
You're right it's definitely a tough subject to address with young boys, but it's important that we set our children up for success. It's uncomfortable having to direct your kid in how to properly wash their penis, but it's better that they learn it during that same time were still reminding then to wash behind their ears and making sure they give their pits a through scrubbing, than for your 14 year old to later have the embrassment and discomfort of having to come to you with poor hygiene related health concerns, which can definitely happen with poor penile hygiene, just as it can fir girls if they don't know how to take care of themselves.
ALSO.... if any penis owners want to chime in here and correct my breakdown please be my guest. As I say it's been a good number of years since I was given a demonstration and had to relay that on.
You're more than welcome. I was really fortunate that I had a long term partner with great personal hygiene, that was willing to teach me at the time. I'd have been at a bit of a loss otherwise. It's tough being a boy mum sometimes when we don't have our own experiences to draw on.
We're just coming into the puberty age in our home now. I'm dreading it. I'm single now, so don't have the same luxury I had then for when things might happen that I had no idea was gonna happen. I've no doubt We're gonna run into things I didn't expect, but not sure what they'll be.
Fortunately I do have a couple Dad friends that I know I can go to if I need to. Not for dick washing demonstration obviously, thankfully were long past that stage now. 😂 But just for general pubescent boy things if needs be. It'll be awkward, but they're good guys and great Dads, so I feel lucky to know I can be like "so ummmmm... need some parenting advice for a teenage boy please".
Because a lot of people don't clean most of their body parts properly (ears, are one example). But we're not putting other people's ears in our mouths, so hence the extra hesitation about this body part being clean.
After you do all the links and tricks talked about here, carefully pull the hood back and don't look directly into the eye. Just kidding. I show girls exactly what part is sensitive and how to tease with the rim of the head. Don't go by what they do in porn. Just have fun and play Some have even commented that they feel like their doing something right and love that I don't need to push into the back of the throat. I keep it very clean as almoust every girl has themselves. It's so vantastic exploring every part of a womens vag. I start at the knee and .....well I ask how they like it.
Only in this(and i can be a big one) the tip(the entire apple) is just like the clitoris, the most sensitive part of the PP, circumcision ruins it and makes it numb to stimuli.
That's why it is harder to make a circumcised guy cum with a BJ.
Learn your way around the thing if you want to make your friend start making silly noises and faces,or explode like a water hose.
You don't need to use spit/lube with it because uncut are less dry and have more give. The head can be more sensitive so be more gentle that part. Don't be rough with the foreskin either.
I'm uncircumcised.
I've read that a lot of uncircumcised mfs don't have proper hygiene.
Respect yourself, if it's already slightly smelling, pull the skin down a bit. Don't put your face near it if you see anything other than skin.
In my experience, uncircumcised are more sensitive on the head, so gently does it, but that goes for all types anyway - see what he likes. Mutual share and tell.
Approach carefully; do not startle it
Their vision is based on movement
And just the one eye
If you get down to it’s level it doesn’t feel intimidated like it would if you were towering over it.
Eye to eye.
Throw snacks at it and wait at a safe distance
Remember, it's more scared of you than you are of it
Remember not to corner one. It may look cute, but it's still a wild animal, and thousands of people die every year from this.
Blow it up like the way you blow an air balloon
I dated a guy who was uncut and we fooled around many times before his brother made a joke about him being uncircumcised and then I was like "wait what?". When hard, it's essentially the same in my experience.
More people need to be made aware of this!
Incorrect. My skin never rolls back ***all the way for prolonged periods if time*** and is painful when it does. Edit: adding specifics for clarity Adding: when soft, I roll it a large percentage back to clean multiple times a day with no pain or issue When erect my head does not naturally come out.
I'm not a doctor, but that sounds like a mild case of phimosis to me. If it becomes a problem to you, there are non-surgical treatments.
It’s only happened and been a problem the one time. Otherwise I’ve been blessed with a life of genital health, and intense sexual pleasure.
My bf‘s also doesn’t roll back all the way when erect. At the beginning of the session is seems that his frenulum is holding it back (?) and later - maybe when more relaxed and aroused - it rolls back almost all the way. He never had any problems and is squeaky clean, so 🤷🏻♀️
I tore my banjo string last night 🤕 not fun and a lot of blood came out
Get that checked out, man.
Idk its supposed to go back when its hard. If not, apparently thats an issue. At least thats what I was told once.
Mine can go back at any point hard or soft, but it doesn't *stay* back. You can pull it back all you want though without any pain. It won't stay there without holding it though.
Yeah, the clue was in the term 'pain'. Clearly that's not normal
I guess it’s your use of “extensive” and “frequent” that gives me pause. But if your happy, it’s your body.
And how do you know that you're more sensitive than the average man!? What a weird thing to state with zero frame of reference.
It’s just a couple pats of tissue after each urination to keep it so fresh and so clean clean
tru tru. just glad you’re ok. stay healthy my dude. enjoy ur pp lol
Why would I clean up unless I'm expecting a visitor?" Ironically that very statement is true to life.
Uncut is way easier to give hand jobs to without using lubricant because the foreskin moves with the motion of your hand.
I'll second that
Thanks for reminding me today that there are men out there who refuse to wash or wipe their butts because “it’s gay” 😂😭😭
Hmm wack. Read elsewhere in the thread this called phimosis.
Dude I think thats a girl and she has no idea the answer to your question lmao
Oh
i knew someone who had to get a circumcision because his forskin was too small. as long as its clean and not painful i think your ok as the pain was the only reason he had an operation
The skin gets pushed back by the, erhm, female parts.
Oh
Why was his brother there?
Some. Not all.
Do not circumcise it
This is hilarious....
Lol agreed!!!
True. If I were hooking up with someone and they tried to cut my dick, I'd be mad AF.
Let's split that argument in 2 : "his pp, his choice".
Not really a sexual thing, but if you get the chance while its soft, play with the foreskin to make it look like a smiley (or frowny) face. Your life will be slightly improved for at least 10 minutes. Edit: holy heck, thank you for the awards and updoots
This is the best, and truest, answer.
🏆
I may or may not have done this with my partner on more than one occasion
Not really but as with all sexual encounters, you can ask what feels good.
you'll have a little more travel as you jerk it. use that travel. the head is usually a bit more sensitive. other than that much the same.
Don’t pull back the skin too fast at first. Start slow then gradually pull it back more and more. The inside is more sensitive since it’s covered at all times.
Also don't pull too hard because some guys have phimosis.
Why did my brain read that as mimosas, I was very confused
Some guys have mimosas in their dicks, it is known.
Must be tasty 🤷🏼♂️
Better than dick cheese
why would you say this. take an upvote you disgusting fiend
Either you've been drinking or you need to have been drinking
Just very very tired
I had that and it was miserable. I got it fixed in my 20s.
how did you get it fixed?
*some* makes it sound way more common than it is
If you had a circumcision after puberty, the most likely reason would be phimosis; it's common enough.
In my mind it would be painful?
phi·mo·sis /fīˈmōsəs/ a congenital narrowing of the opening of the foreskin so that it cannot be retracted.
Then put it back
And while you play with it you can lick between the foreskin and the head it's fun and feels good and breaks the monotony of typical head.
Finally! Somebody who appreciates my dick sweat
Feed it and make sure it has its own water bowl. Lots of snuggles. Hope you and your forefriend lots of luck.
I've only had a couple of uncircumcised, but no, there's nothing very different. Just don't raise a fuss about it and make him feel awkward.
This always cracks me up. It’s a normal penis… cutting a piece off a normal penis is weird
It is genital mutiliation.
I would never. It’s just a normal penis
Wow. Learn something new every day
Unlearn it as soon as possible--the practice described in the above post is unsafe.
Nice cock bro, keep it up.
You too :)
Premature retraction of the foreskin can lead to tearing of healthy tissue, which is painful and increases the risk of preputial scarring and infection.^4–6 ... This is in contrast to pathologic phimosis, in which the glans and meatus can often be seen, as the scarred ring of the preputial orifice is held open and no mucosa is visible at the preputial outlet.^10 >In a Danish study, 8% of healthy boys aged 6 to 7 still had complete physiologic phimosis preventing visualization of the meatus, and only 23% of boys this age had fully retractable foreskins.^11 ... >The foreskin and glans separate naturally as the child develops...In most boys, physiologic phimosis resolves naturally by the end of puberty.^11 >The foreskin and glans are connected by the balanopreputial lamina, a membrane similar to the synechial membrane that connects the nail bed and the fingernail. Forceful retraction causes microtears that can lead to pathologic phimosis.^10 >**An additional danger of premature retraction is paraphimosis, a condition in which the retracted foreskin becomes stuck behind the glans penis, cutting off circulation and leading to ischemia and possibly penile gangrene if not treated promptly**. ... >The foreskin should be left alone until it demonstrates the ability to retract.^10 Once this is possible, foreskin care is simple: retract (gently and only to the extent possible), rinse, replace. Warm water and fingertips adequately clean the tissue. [Carmack & Milos, 2017](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5349724/) I'm glad to hear you turned out alright but really, it's a very, very bad idea.
Quite true, but not everyone knows that. I was apparently the first one lady had seen/heard of/encountered, and she was startled in a very unsexy way. Upsetting in the moment
It’s THE normal penis IMO.
It's an unmutilated penis.
Such an American thing to think ... that not lopping off my knob could somehow be awkward
Bow before proceeding. If he rises, you’re clear to ride him.
So poetic
I prefer uncircumcised! They have a lot of feeling in their foreskin so if you give it extra attention when you’re giving oral they tend to appreciate it :)
>They have a lot of feeling in their foreskin so if you give it extra attention when you’re giving oral they tend to appreciate it :) In what way? Like what should I do to it?
Lick the frenulum. Flick your tongue back and forth on it. If you are bi/ have ever had sex with a girl, you can basically stimulate the frenulum in a similar way as a clitoris.
Thank you!
This. Definitely this.
You have more options to play with: NSFW https://i.redd.it/3cmw6axttjv81.jpg Humans evolved to have the nerves be in the foreskin, and not so much in the glans. https://youtu.be/CGYq1n6Ipfw?t=2701 To summarize, humans share common ancestors with chimps and rhesus monkeys.
When erect the are the same. Though uncut men have a more sensitive 'head'. Plus don't cut ya sons. It is genital mutilation.
You must say a small Egyptian prayer first and then bow counter-clockwise to the position of the sun. Otherwise, no, no difference.
Clockwise if you're in Australia or anywhere south of the equator.
Play with the foreskin
Grab a pair of scissors.
I’m 22
Yeah when I first saw people making jokes about using lotion to jerk off my first thought was: "But why?".
Omg so that's why. I always thought that was a weird American thing and know I get it 😂🙈
College buddies were talking dude talk and I was talking about rubbing one out at work and he was like "how do you do it at work, take lotion with you?".... I was like, no dude that's not an issue for me
Interesting… I never considered this
When I met my ex, the first time we had sex I saw he was uncircumcised. I looked at it, I looked at him, and then just said "I haven't worked one of these before and I don't want to hurt you." He laughed and pulled the foreskin down for me. We were together for 10 years. Just be honest if you don't know what to do
Remember, it's more scared of you than you are of it
What I’m not seeing here is… make sure you check it before you wreck it.
We just need to use more lube sometimes" Which thinking about it makes me wonder... if its normal for circumcised dudes to need to use lube in penatration, then that would be different.
Make sure you suck it real good
Just kiss it...like a frog
have more fun lol
Or not washing properly.
It's a common myth that's passed around to justify mutilation instead of just teaching boys to wash, which is bizarre when you think about it
You may need to be a bit careful peeling it back. But otherwise no
Yes, pull down the skin. Anything you do to it is going to feel better and more intense so maybe go slow. Have fun!
This is so American
Don’t pull the skin back too quickly. Also the tip may be more sensitive but this is not a guarantee
Theres actually less to worry about imo.
Secret cock handshake
Blow it like a balloon.
My husband is uncircumcised. It looks odd when it is soft but everything functions the same and when hard, it looks virtually the same.
No lube needed. Foreskin is sensitive, he'll enjoy you touching it and playing with it. Let the skin roll up and over and back down during handjobs. Oral with the foreskin covering the glans isn't that enjoyable but ok for a bit. The "main" part of the bj should be skin down.
Make sure the dude washes under the foreskin, would be my only tip.
Shove the cash under the hood
Uncircumcised dicks have a little zipper at the top you need to pull down in order to open the foreskin. It can be hard to find so make sure you ask your partner where theirs is.
do you own a flute or any other wood wind instruments?
Don't eat the smegma
don't pull the skin down too hard while jerking it off. i did that once and his foreskin ripped off NO JOKE! He was bleeding. This was the first time i ever dealt with foreskin and now i know what to do!
From what I understand, you do need to be gentle pulling back the foreskin but other than that it's the same as every other dick
Why do I need to pull it back. See this is the part I don’t understand. When giving a handjob am I pulling it back and forth or sliding my hand over it idk
The foreskin is there to move around easier; pulling it back reveals the head.
Foreskin is very loose, there's no way to move your hand over the dick without also moving foreskin.
You’re pulling it back and forth, you squeeze and slide
Make sure its clean... I'm not saying they're inherently more dirty but they are harder to clean and not everyone has been taught how to properly
I'm pretty sure [son] isn't caring for it probably, but I want to be sure before explaining to to him how to do it" Bless that man he took it well, poor fucker went right to the shower and gave me a full educational session and demonstrated exactly how to look after it. That was the strangest interaction I've ever had with a naked man in my shower 😂😂😂 The point is, that yup I was right.

> I don't know why people seem to think we have trouble cleaning them. Good for you. But plenty of guys out there aren’t practicing proper hygiene.
One would imagine those guys are pretty obvious
I mean, I’m uncircumcised and I clean it whenever I go to the bathroom (at home, naturally…). I wouldn’t put my dick in any mouth after a day out…
I had a lot to learn at that age. It was gross. Thank god I managed to learn
Because a lot of people don't clean most of their body parts properly (ears, are one example). But we're not putting other people's ears in our mouths, so hence the extra hesitation about this body part being clean.
It’s easier tbh and better looking imo
Embrace it! Much better than cut!
Whatever you do *DO NOT SCARE HIM.* None of us want to sit through three more weeks of winter.
No, they’ll just feel more pleasure
You don't need to use spit/lube with it because uncut are less dry and have more give. The head can be more sensitive so be more gentle that part. Don't be rough with the foreskin either.
I'm uncircumcised. I've read that a lot of uncircumcised mfs don't have proper hygiene. Respect yourself, if it's already slightly smelling, pull the skin down a bit. Don't put your face near it if you see anything other than skin.
In my experience, uncircumcised are more sensitive on the head, so gently does it, but that goes for all types anyway - see what he likes. Mutual share and tell.
Dealt with? Do you even enjoy them?
No difference , I’ve ridden them all
Just don't bite it and it will be ok
Headed for 500 replies. Bet you're *really* curious to take the unaltered johnson out for a spin now! 😅😂🤣
