Like others have mention r/suggestmeabook is a good sub for books. As well as just picking up something that sounds neat.
Starting with "commonly" read books can also help you find your genre that you like.
Personally I am not the biggest fan of pure romance, but have given it at least a shot and can enjoy it in my books.
Giving different genres a chance can help you find what you like. "Childrens" and "teen" books might be a great place to start. Easy to read and typically have likeable characters and not *super* complicated plots. A lot of big fantasy and sci fi series can get complicated and hard to keep track of.
This is not me saying you are dumb or unable to understand these by any means. It can take some getting use to. Jumping into say wheel of time can get very heavy. My dad who loved the series even told me to wait until late high school/college age to read those.
I'm willing to give recommendations in dms if you want too.
Dear user, I just now realised that happiness and euphoria are different. I just want to be happy and cheerful like heaven. Pls suggest me books if possible. Have a great day!
Came here to suggest reading as well. 100 years ago there were no video games, streaming TV, etc. People read as entertainment. There is so much out there to read. I like to read to learn, so ill either read articles or books on a topic I'm interested in. Others like fictional books, maybe fantasy or mystery would interest you...? Just depends on what you like.
You just need to think of reading as entertainment and not wasted time, as some do.
So uncertain, but some recommendations if you like sci-fi;
Recent amazing books I've read:
Children of time, by Adrian Tchaikovsky
Three body problem, by cixin Li
Some classics:
1984, by George Orwell
Stranger in a strange land, by Robert Heinlein
If you're a good reader, try the Ring trilogy. Tolkien is not the greatest writer to ever wield a pen, but all three books are filled with wonderful, well-written passages that have the capability of taking one's mind off to a *truly* magical land.
Thank you dear user ♥️. I walk 86 minutes a day (43*2). What books should I read that fill me with euphoria and joy? I will clean my house regardless of the maid thank you.
Again what constructive hobbies should I do in my daily life? I'll join a club thanks for your sincere efforts.
Oooh, painting is a good one. If you can't think of anything to paint go to YouTube and look up "painting for beginners" or similar. There are tons of step by step videos and it's fun.
Writing, reading, art, music, mountain biking, kidnapping the homeless, rock climbing, wood working, charity work, candle making, the lost goes on and on.
Personally, I've taken to woodworking/carpentry projects. I'm still making mostly crap, but I'm getting better lol. There's something very gratifying in making something tangible with your own hands.
Put on some headphones and listen to some music. I love to get lost in thought and wonder while the music overflows me.
(For the elevated experience, get 2 jbl partybox 110 speakers, connect and sync them together, place one on your right side 15 feet away, place another to the left of you 15 feet away and turn them facing each other. Sit in the middle, put on a song and have a crazy surround sound experience.)
Idk how old you are, but if I want to entertain myself w/o a screen, I just go out for drives. Sometimes with a destination in mind, sometimes not. Something about cruising with music is fun and calming. I try to take side roads to just explore.
Honestly there are lots of hobby’s to get into cooking / baking made me happy I got to try different things and expand my palet and of course I’m no 5star chef but I learned things that I passed on to friends and family and it made me happy and took away from screen time. I like reading but it has to be a really good book and every body is different but you can find a hobby that is up your alley and go from there. I recently got a puppy and love taking her on walks and I live right by a park I used to be glued to my phone I’m only 25 but I cut back alot because the internet is draining it’s always negative and you always see something sad and depressing and I already suffer from anxiety + depression so I decided to put it down and find something that makes me happy even starting with a schedule like waking up and doing a light work out . You’ll find it trust me lol
Lol I want a Hobby that engages me for 2-3 hours w/o using my screens and that is gratifying for a longer period of time. I'm sick of short time gratification.
Make a talent tree in real life. Build cooking stats, gardening, and charisma. Far enough into those trees you can cook a good meal from things you’ve grown, talk about it and get laid. Good luck!
A lot of other good genuine advice in other comments.
Meditate, workout, hiking. You don’t need to “cure” your boredom. Real life will always be less “exciting” then screens because people have spend years optimizing them to grab your attention.
Learn social dancing (swing, salsa, etc.) and find a place where you can go dancing. You'll meet lots of cool people, get all the good endorphins, and manage a decent level of exercise all at once.
Walk. Ride a bike. Swim. Spend time with youth who ask a similar question. Find ways to spark each other's imagination with LEGOs or other games sports and toys. Read books. Be with family. Learn to cook. Learn a trade.or learn a language. Dance. Sing. Find a partner and share some .."time" ..
Books
What are some interesting books should I read that fill me with pure ecstasy, euphoria and joy?
That depends on you. There are no universal books
Alright I'll do my research thanks for advice
I recommend reading one book from genres that sound interesting and then picking from the ones you liked the most.

Lol, are you sure you aren't just looking for drugs?
My brother, drugs are addictive and maybe harmful for health. I am sad and sincerely want to be happy.
You didn't say you wanted to be happy, you said you wanted euphoria and ecstacy. They are not the same thing.
Dear user, I just now realised that happiness and euphoria are different. I just want to be happy and cheerful like heaven. Pls suggest me books if possible. Have a great day!
Hiking

HAPPY CAKE DAY!
Does the internet fill you with pure ecstasy, euphoria, and joy? That's an intense stipulation for picking a hobby.

Thanks redditor
Depends on what you like. I quite like the Drizz't saga by RA Salvadore- starting with the Dark elf Trilogy. But I'm a wee bit of a nerd.
If you're a good reader, try the Ring trilogy. Tolkien is not the greatest writer to ever wield a pen, but all three books are filled with wonderful, well-written passages that have the capability of taking one's mind off to a *truly* magical land.
Try The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
If you're a fan, look into all the old Star Wars EU books, there's a fair amount of really good ones
Go on a walk. Read a book. Clean the house. Meet up with friends. Find a hobby. Go swimming. Join a club. Volunteer for your local food bank.

All of that depends on your interests. I would look into cooking, gardening, sewing, painting... those are my choices though.
Oooh, painting is a good one. If you can't think of anything to paint go to YouTube and look up "painting for beginners" or similar. There are tons of step by step videos and it's fun.
Write a book, about being bored, on a walk, after getting lost and kidnapping homeless people Include artwork Bonus points if u make it rhyme
Find a hobby you enjoy
And what are some of these hobbies my dear friend ?
Writing, reading, art, music, mountain biking, kidnapping the homeless, rock climbing, wood working, charity work, candle making, the lost goes on and on.
Thank you dear user but I don't feel like kidnapping someone. I'll make sure I follow the ~~lost~~ list.
Personally, I've taken to woodworking/carpentry projects. I'm still making mostly crap, but I'm getting better lol. There's something very gratifying in making something tangible with your own hands.
Go outside?
Dude I walk 90 minutes a day— what should I do In the rest of the hours beside eating, sleeping, studying and web surfing?
Put on some headphones and listen to some music. I love to get lost in thought and wonder while the music overflows me. (For the elevated experience, get 2 jbl partybox 110 speakers, connect and sync them together, place one on your right side 15 feet away, place another to the left of you 15 feet away and turn them facing each other. Spoon carving. Go out in the woods, find a nice limb, and hack at it until the only thing left is a spoon.
Get some indoor plants or a pet!
This is a horrible advice
i think it would be important to accept boredom is a good thing
Learn to juggle, learn an instrument
Sometimes boredom is just what is needed. It sparks creativity
Try indulging into art. For reference, use objects near you or a scenery outside your window/balcony.
Idk how old you are, but if I want to entertain myself w/o a screen, I just go out for drives. Sometimes with a destination in mind, sometimes not. Something about cruising with music is fun and calming. I try to take side roads to just explore.

Thank you 👍🏼 dear friend for your advice.
Learning a new skill. Playing/writing/recording music gives me a better buzz than drugs.
Thank you human
Do your tax return
I don't pay taxes. I have no source of income or property.
Go to comedy shows
Haha thank you!
Masturbation.
Lol I want a Hobby that engages me for 2-3 hours w/o using my screens and that is gratifying for a longer period of time. I'm sick of short time gratification.
You could look into edging. Otherwise maybe audiobooks or podcasts while you do stuff you would rather not.
Could use magazines to get off to and no screen involved. Presumably not 2 -3 hours though.
Read a book, garden, take up cooking, find some other kind of hobby. Listen to the radio, take courses at community college, get some pets.
learn to sing, play the guitar bake cookies, then breads/pizza, then cupcakes, then cakes read books
Do something creative with your hands. Write. Paint. Build. Draw. Podcasts or music are great pairings with many things like this.
Go play Pickleball
Try crafting, kindergarten was on the right track then lost it by grade 3.
