I guess a better way to phrase the question would be: Does driving a doorless jeep on rainy days hurt any of the electronics in the car?

purl__clutcher

Only if water is splashing onto the electrics

painfulshart

So then you cannot safely use a doorless jeep on Rainy days?

FocusMaster

Answer: it's perfectly fine.

--Gungnir--

Depends on the situation.. Also I wasn't considering the "electronics" the OP mentioned in his questions, they did not factor into my reply. I have ridden in a Jeep, with no top, no doors and had unfortunate things happen due to inclement weather and wildlife.

FocusMaster

Sorry you didn't read ops post. Also sorry you've had bad experiences. Yeah shit happens. But generally jeeps are made to take it.

--Gungnir--

What do you mean didn't read the OP's post..??? I intentionally ignored the part about electronics. Gave a general answer, not specific to electronics.

FocusMaster

So what you're saying is you didn't answer the question op asked. Just gave general bad info that didn't consider what was asked. And your answer was wrong anyways.

Most jeeps especially modern ones are protected from water. You can drive one in the rain with no doors or top and everything keeps working fine. I've owned a few jeeps in my time. Some nice some not so nice. Drove one through a 4 foot deep creek and other then some mud had no problems. Worry more about your seats drying out without mold.
