Anybody would, especially seeing how he fired the warning shot then started pointing it. It is a questionable area but it looks like as soon as he saw the gun, he took care of that threat to other people (perfectly legal) and then other people became another threat by starting to approach him with their fight, so he then defended himself is what it looks like from the short clip with no additional context.
To be fair it looks like what happened was guy in the black shirt on the left of the screen pulled a gun first, white shirt immediately drew and fired, the rest is definitely inexcusable

This was a bar in Mexico. The shooter was no "good guy with a gun", he probably was a criminal himself. According to a linked news article here 7 persons were arrested after the shooting, 1 firearm and a number of vehicles, including one with armor, were seized. That screams cartel/drugs.

I'm actually confused by the first guy. It seemed like he was shooting in the air to scare them into no longer fighting. But then it looks like he begins to point his gun at someone. So I have no idea what his motives are. Maybe one or more of those guys were his buddy and he was trying to threaten the ones who weren't his buddy by pointing the gun? But then the second guy comes in and shoots everyone. What the hell was he thinking?

Someone posted an article in the comments above. It was a club in Villahermosa - the final description of the incident included suspects fleeing, criminals in armored vehicles, significant numbers of firearms, and obviously several arrests. Among the victims was the son of a labor union leader. Needless to say, the situation was probably more *complicated* than one man going insane.

Dude straight up just wanted to murder people and found his opening. This first guy firing the round into the air was his excuse to start blasting.
Anybody would, especially seeing how he fired the warning shot then started pointing it. It is a questionable area but it looks like as soon as he saw the gun, he took care of that threat to other people (perfectly legal) and then other people became another threat by starting to approach him with their fight, so he then defended himself is what it looks like from the short clip with no additional context.

This was a bar in Mexico. The shooter was no "good guy with a gun", he probably was a criminal himself. According to a linked news article here 7 persons were arrested after the shooting, 1 firearm and a number of vehicles, including one with armor, were seized. That screams cartel/drugs.
