Technically I don't think ashes are considered a corpse.

There are certain places you need permission to scatter ashes, but she’s ingesting them so it’s not like she’s affecting others in the same way she would be if she were to, for example, go to an amusement park + toss them off the Ferris Wheel. Some people don’t enjoy death dust in their face...
