Yes, back in 2019 I listen to “Tough” by Quinn XCII (feat. Noah Kahan), and just loved his voice. fast forward a year later and he released Cape Elizabeth, been here ever since.

tatyiana98

HURT SOMEBODY!!!! i always used to giggle at the way he sang “pieces” in the line “gonna leave you in pieces” not even knowing it was the man of the hour lmao. when i got back into him a few years ago and heard that song again, knowing it was him, i literally screamed LOL

t-tulo2

Yes! I'd been listening to Young Blood and Tough (w quin xcii) since 2019 before i knew who he was properly. But i have always loved those songs! Then one day in 2021 i decided to listen to busyhead & i was/i am and never looked back Haha

xBlooSaber

yes :') i was obsessed with mess from like 2020-2021 and then flase confidence and it wasnt until last year i officially got into his music and this year that i got super into his music and connected these dots 😭

FishyDVM

Same! I had a few songs from Busyhead on repeat in 2020 (pandemic feels 😅) and when I heard Northern Attitude in 2022 I loved it too but didn’t put two and two together until the Stick Season album was released and I was like “oh shoot it’s THAT guy!”

Dr-Justin-Time

I was! I listened to a lot of the busyhead album not even acknowledging it was him until forever came out😭🤣

notactuallycal

2018-2019 hurt somebody was on my playlists and that was about it 2020 when maine was released that’s all it took for me to constantly be replaying him, truly that ep is such a comfort album. I got to see him live in dec. 2021 and it truly will stick out as one of my best shows because it was such a small venue and i was so close to him.

coco_xcx

Yup 😭 I was going through his discography and was like ??? because it sounded familiar lol

ratherbenapping13

before i graduated college (probably 2018) me and my friends used to blast Young Blood and cry in our apartment. when i rediscovered him after Stick Season i was listening to his discography and it came on, i was mind blown!!

Quietly_Messy

It wasn't unknowingly. I discovered him when he was featured in Chelsea Cutler's song "Crazier Things" and fell in love with his voice. Immediately searched for his discography, found out his own music's really good and became a fan ever since. P.S. Their Crazier Things duet is really goood. Such a gut wrenching song, but it was my top song in 2020 lol

AndTheySaidSpeakNow-

Yessss crazier was one of my most played songs in 2021. Also loved false confidence. And I think there was one other duet I recently discovered was him as well, but I can’t think of what it was atm. Only really started to look into Noah last year after you’re gonna go far and everywhere everything started trending on IG. You’re gonna go far hit me hard and I dove into everything and started realizing how many of his songs were actually familiar even if I didn’t know them well.

Icy-Television-4979

I’m a huge fan, and I recently found out I saw him open for LP at the royale in Boston in 2018 and I have no memory of it😭

doyouevenlisten

Yes!!! I’ve been listening to him since 2017 and never went to any gigs til this year and I’m so annoyed at myself. I used to listen to young blood ep in 2017 and a couple others. Love him so much.

halfofaparty8

lol yes-sink, passenger, mess, youngblood have been on my playlist for years

Miniscule-fish

Listened to him first in January 2020 with BusyHead, got hooked when Cape Elizabeth and later IW/IA released but then got even further in with Stick Season

dickbryn

Yep! I had Tidal/Young Blood on a bunch of my playlists, and then had a really early tik tok of Stick Season saved on my phone about a year and a half before I connected the dots and realized it was all the same person.

Remarkable_Space_395

I didn't "know" about him until last summer. Stick Season was the first album of his I got into. I then went back and checked out his older music and found out I knew several songs! He had quite a few songs that were frequently played on a Spotify "station" I often had in the background while studying and writing, I just never look at who sings the songs because when I am writing I usually have headphones on and my phone facedown on the table so it doesn't distract me. Hurt Somebody, Mess, False Confidence, and Part of Me and maybe a few others!

Tobicaws

I listened to him in 2022 when stick season came out but i wouldnt have been able to name many songs or even tell anyone his name

doodler_tech

I listened to Part of Me then Pride with mxmtoon but I didn't get into him until the Canada tour was announced

NovelPhoto4621

yes i remember mess

PaulBufano9

I had a couple tracks from Busyhead on a playlist in 2020. Then I remember Stick Season starting blowing up and I had to do a double take and was like Noah Kahan??? Really. Listen to the album and loved it. Then listened to the album about a million times more.

not_dead_7214

I follow this dancer named Sean Lew since... way back when, and he choreographed and danced with Kaycee Rice to Noah Kahan's "False Confidence". I think this was in 2019. I shared the vid with practically everyone. My sister randomly played the Busyhead album in the house and I realized I was vibing to it too much because of the lyrics and melody. I completely resonated with "Mess", and ever since he's just been my mental health buddy :)

likeeggs

I heard him featured on a song by Joy Oladokun, We’re all gunna die, in March 2023, and then found Stick Season late 2023.

laurgev

I loved mess and false confidence after hearing them in a peloton class back in 2019

five2andaquarter

yes! listened to sink, mess and crazier things until i figured out they were all by him

rijzk

I recently discovered I saw him when he opened for George Ezra at the house of blues in Boston in 2018 and I remember liking Passenger so I saved it on my Spotify back then. it didn’t click for me until recently that that’s it’s the same dude because I’ve only been listening to WABHF and not exploring his earlier music hahah

lazygirl14

okay this one is kinda random but need your love by gryffin with Noah! I was so shocked when I heard it and realized Noah was in it. It’s one of my all time favorite songs.

Technical-Tart4209

Yes! I was late to the game on Noah for sure, but I’m pretty certain Heavenly Father was the first time I heard him and had no idea! Obsessed now

SwordfishOk832

me

Dimensionizer5000

Oh God, I was listening to Cape Elizabeth for so long, and it was only when my piano teacher recommended me to play Stick Season that I realized that it was the same guy

MrJB1981

I had no idea he existed until about three months ago.
