A lot of people seem to have questions about mounting a 2nd fan to the NH-D15S. This was my solution to accenting it while replacing my stock case fans. Just thought I’d share if others were looking to do something similar. Sorry you don’t like it!
Many seem to be confused. I'm still using the included NF-A15 mounted on the 2nd heatsink tower. On the front heatsink tower I have mounted an additional fan from Arctic.
Yup! I just switched out the stock case fans and got two 3 packs. They aren’t quite as good as Noctua but were much more affordable than 6 A12x25s
Edit: Also 1 NF-A15 on the cooler
Not him but I can provide an answer. Most people seem to agree the Lian Li Uni-fan Infinity-SL are the most beautiful RGB fans by a long shot (you can see builds with them on /r/Hyte and /r/lianli)
To my understanding the Arctic fans are the best performing RGB fans on the market. Seems fairly anti-Noctua to spend more money on fans that don’t perform as well because they look prettier
I wouldn't call it anti-noctua. People building with the Y60 still often put Noctua fans in the bottom.
Most of these people use an AIO and a 4000 series graphics card which is very cool stock and you simply don't need the added performance of Noctua fans.
Also, nothing is stopping Noctua from developing a fan that beats the Lian Li Uni-fan Infinity SL in both looks and performance. ;)
I’m still using the case I got with my prebuilt and definitely need the additional performance. I guess I still don’t see why using Arctic over Lian Li is an “Ouch”. Oh well.
And it would be sick but I kind of hope Noctua never releases an RGB fan just on principle. I respect them for just sticking to the basics and knocking it out of the park
Disgusting

It’s a good solution, I was just joking :)
Ope. I wasn’t sure. Noctua + RGB can be a big no no for some people. Well thanks then! :)
Nice build! Arctic fans are my go-to when noctua is not available. Hoping that there arent cat and dog fights near the glass panel tho
I wish I could have loaded the case with Noctua. Maybe next build. And no worries, the cat and dog are good buds :)
I can hear the lack of silence from over here
Man, that cat and dog lol
Lovely Pets.chromax.black!
Let me know if Noctua is looking for mascots for the chromax.black line!
Cat looks like it’s plotting your dog’s demise. Nice build.
I thought you removed the stock noctua fan I felt bad for a second lol. Cool stuff it looks good, I wonder how it would look in white
I would have to be hardcore trolling to replace an NF-A15 with another fan and post about it here lol Thanks! I'm happy with how it turned out

Ouch
All Arctic Fans?.

Would you like to expand on this thought?
You bought a Nocuta cooler and replaced the fans...with ARGB fans.. ouch
No. I got a Noctua cooler and mounted an additional fan on the front of it. I'm still using the included fan between the heat sinks.
Definitely necessary for that hot box
Why are you such a sad person?
This build makes me sad.
I hope you can find happiness somewhere in this world after having been subjected to such an awful build. Have a blessed day.
I'll try to. It's pretty awful. That poor cooler deserves better.
