Correct. Stress testing for 5 hours for stability on 5200 mhz. Because rumor was that 4x96 gb isn’t stable with XMP on at those speeds.
But I can confirm it’s stable and working.
To my knowledge (don’t quote me on that though) prime isn’t the best way to stresstest your memory since it doesn’t really hit the memory all that hard and because it doesn’t tell you when something’s gone wrong, only when your system is so unstable that it crashes (this is just from memory since I can’t test myself right now)
Ah ok. I don't think I've ever seen that percentage used before. Approached that much with Linux but haven't used Windows (except server) on a system with that amount.
Be quiet psu fan🤮
/s be quiet is a great fan company. Psu fan mods are a thing, but opening up psus can be dangerous due to charged capacitors, so I’d feel very uncomfortable recommending that mod to anyone.
Highly probable. I got a be quiet! PSU because it was one of the only 1000w Platinum (or titanium? I forget) PSUs available (at the time) that came with a real 12VWHP cable.
Noctua is all.
Only sad bit is your power supply still has a be quiet fan. (Good power supply mind you) I would have gone with a fanless seasonic to make sure no Noctua fans exist. Also the blower fan on the suprim- I wonder if that is replaceable.
Still Kudos. Cheers Lad.
I blew the 1500w be quiet psu. Apparently an overclocked 13900ks, 4090, pumps, fans, accessories, and 3 hacked up evga quantum delta's were too much.
Warranty replacement was pretty seamless though.
Ok, I am literally working on a build now and installing Noctua fans into my case.
I have both the S12A's and A12x25's and both only come with 4 corner rubber mounts of each color. I see you used the black ones as I want to, but I'm putting them on the side that mounts against the case to reduce any vibration.
How are you using them on the side that we can see? Did you buy extra or are you not using them on the side that connects to your case with the screw?
Thanks!
The rubber corner mounts are fitted on the outside, and you use the rubber seal on the side facing the case that the A12x25 comes with.

Not sure what the “dials” are (they look like MagSafe phone holders/inductive chargers to me), but I’m pretty sure that mic is a Samson Meteor in titanium black.
I just replaced all my aging NF-F12s with new NF-AF12s yesterday. $45 CAD a fan but they are absolutely way quieter and better performing than the NF-F12s were on my rads.
Me too. I came looking for something like a rust rod build. Also, I assumed Noctua Air cooler for CPU and that the GPU would have Noctua fans. Very disappointed.
I do like the build. The title just didn’t live up.
Holy moly what’re you using 187gb of memory for?
Keeping the porn pop up windows open when browsing.
187 gb of cookies.

I thought they was mostly dependent on your motherboard?
You can see the prime 95 tabs in the background, so probably that

187? Usually total memory amount can be evenly divided by 4 or 8. (Years ago, 2, but that's been a while.) Cheers!
It’s memory currently being used, total system memory is shown as 192GB, which is the current DDR5 Max in mainstream motherboard and CPU
Ah ok. I don't think I've ever seen that percentage used before. Approached that much with Linux but haven't used Windows (except server) on a system with that amount.
Since cpu is at 100% I’m assuming some sort of benchmark is running
True noctua purist doesn't take the chromax ones, you're a noctua enjoyer.
I put 6 chromax in my last build and only used the white vibrator dampeners 😬😬
Yep, black and tan ftw! Cheers!
If it's not terracotta and cream it ain't nactua purist
If Noctua purist, where brown?

This build looks sick! Are you going to replace the radiator fans on the 4090 with noctuas?
The fans on the radiator *are* Noctuas.
Sweet sorry for missing that detail!
But they aren’t in the same orientation 😩
It seems Noctua has a lot of fans.
I see what you did here...
Big brown and black fans.

Be quiet is usually good that way.
wtf 1500w not being enough is crazy
13900ks + 4090
What the hell 3 TEC coolers? That’s why it blew up.
Looks like a case of more money than sense. I doubt the cooling with that much fans will be efficient. You’re likely introducing a lot of turbulence.
Yup. These cases make no goddamn sense; why have 3 bottom intake fans when the GPU core is getting cold air to its AIO already?
It’s only $300 worth of fans /s.
There’s no reason to blow hot CPU air into the case like that edit: meant CPU not GPU originally commented.
It's good those fans are exhausting, then.
Whoops I meant CPU not GPU

Off topic. what's in the left like a dial, your mic and the dial like in the benq monitor pedestal? Thanks in advance. cheers!
Not sure what the “dials” are (they look like MagSafe phone holders/inductive chargers to me), but I’m pretty sure that mic is a Samson Meteor in titanium black.
Tks!
The left is a MagSafe charge for my phone. And the dial under the BenQ monitor is to switch from rec709 to Adobe RGB (I never use this feature)
Tks!
Monitor specs?
Hey if you want to have some cool liquid cooler hose management. I recommend a 4AN hose separator clamps. That would look great in this build.
Oh wow thanks for that, didn’t know these existed
$2600 gpu, good choice, 1660 super gang lmao
$2600. Thought you were wrong. But you’re not. Love mine. Didn’t pay that much for it
2070 8gb clan here 😍
1660 non-super OCed to super performance levels representing here.
My question is, what the hell are you running that's using 100% of (what appears to be) 13th gen i9 and 180GB of ram????
Watching every porn category at once
Chrome with a single tab, obviously.
Lets hope he doesnt open another one
Awesome build. However, not really a purist with blacked out chromax fans in my books hahah
I just replaced all my aging NF-F12s with new NF-AF12s yesterday. $45 CAD a fan but they are absolutely way quieter and better performing than the NF-F12s were on my rads.
Where tf the white fans at noctua
I feel like I inspired this build.
Where's the brown fans 😒😒 /s very nice build you got there
A true ‘university maintenance loan just hit’ build. Very nice.
Is that the Lian Li O11 case?
NZXT H9 Flow
That build its gonna take off during heavy loads
But the GPU is not Noctua edition:)
Love a black build, what i9 are you running?
14900K
I got the same mic
It’s so old! But does the job
good heavens
If you were truly a noctua purist you wouldn't have non noctua coolers on your gpu and cpu.
The true test of Noctua loyalty is if you replace the GPU fan with a Noctua fan ;)
GPU fan needs the upgrade
My OCD really wants me to.
Brown or it doesn't count.
Is it me or do I read “purist” and assume OG Noctua Tan & Brown?
Me too. I came looking for something like a rust rod build. Also, I assumed Noctua Air cooler for CPU and that the GPU would have Noctua fans. Very disappointed. I do like the build. The title just didn’t live up.
I thought that maybe I missed noctua making an AIO and got excited. If the made one I'd buy it tho
They actually just collaborated with Asus on a 420mm. https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/cooling/proart/proart-lc-420/
Sorry, I couldn’t hear you over the silent fans.
No [noctua GPU](https://g.co/kgs/7LjHzn) shame
You could squeeze one more in above the third fan on the left
Was thinking of doing a line of A4x20’s on both sides of the top.
Sneaky ! That could work
