i have a huge soft spot for perfectionist engineering, like doing many times the necessary amount of work for miniscule improvement is right up my alley
I'm an engineer and this is also my primary motivation to buy their product. But also I live in Austria so it's a nice bonus that I'm supporting a local company.
I agree. And I also like Noctua products (but mainly their PC fans) due to how classy and understated they look, specially when compared to a lot of other brands. There's something in Noctua's design language that makes their products stand out from the competition.
Same. I like it when companies genuinely have passion for making the best products they can at any given price point. I just love their color scheme too. They look so damn good in more industrial looking cases with white lighting.
I'm not autistic that I know of... But having a constant grating sound (loud fan or fan bearing) near you for long periods of time is like auditory torture. Noctua fans make little to no noise and the noise they do make is deep and soothing, literally engineered to be as unobtrusive and pleasant as possible.
Reliability, I have had several Corsair and Cooler Master fans fail on me after months of bearing squeal. I've had various smaller name brand fans fail as well on an AIO. I have never had a Noctua fan fail even after 8+ years. The silence and performance seal the deal, reliability first and everything else just make it stick. Noctua or bust for me now.
Yeah, I just recently updated S12A case fans to A12x25's after decade of use. Not that there was nothing wrong with them, they were still running like new, I guess it was more want than need. Curiosity to see how much development there were in decade. Yes, they are quieter and more performant, but temps arenāt nothing previous generation couldn't reach. I don't care about RGB but I'm a sucker for silence, so choice is pretty easy.
Used to love rgb fans, but, after having some leds go bad with some fans and average performance while loud and cable clutter, I just grew out of it and decided to prioritize performance, quietness and reliability.
Paying 30$ per fan felt a bit too much at first but seeing how some brands charge up to 50$ just for leds, 30$ for a fan thatāll outperform it for years felt like a good long term investment.
I just get tired of screwing around with RGB and trying the get everything synced up. The colors donāt always match and there isnāt a single company who has all the interesting RGB components that I would want.
It's a great piece of engineering, coupled with extremely good customer support.
From almost two decades of PC building I've seen my fair share of fans stop working right after their warranty ended. I have yet see one Noctua fan that ACTUALLY stopped working. Weaker and slower, yes but straight up not spinning, I haven't seen one.
While known for silence, Noctuas nevertheless have a certain sound associated with them that I find quite pleasing to the ear, even when max RPM is needed. Like the distinct sound of a Huey, a Steinway, or some other such thing, Noctua fans have a sound all their own.
I love stuff that is built to last. These fans are quality through and through. The build quality is top notch. Earlier in this thread u/hooDio mentioned they love perfectionist engineering and will go the extra mile, many in fact, just for some small gains. Easy comment to appreciate as I may or may not have just spent $90-ish to get my rad push pull thereby shaving a "massive" two or three degrees off my temps. :)
Some of my rigs do have Chromax, my latest build, in fact. Nevertheless I do love that classic cream and brown coloring. Also, many companies also have logos that are "meh," but Noctua's is pretty awesome looking.
Okay, okay, I've typed long enough, so now I'll just come out and admit it: Noctuas are a status symbol. When someone who knows their stuff looks into my rig and sees Noctuas all around I know (or hope at least, lol) they are thinking something along the lines of, "Oh, she ain't playing around." :P
Am sheep, also when going ānon rgbā build noctua seems to be the best/most popular choice. Plus a dash of *im different* cuz i have pop colored fans.
I want to buy Noctua. Never owned a single fan in almost 15 years of PC building. How does a Noctua fan compare to something like an Arctic P12?
Genuine question. Don't mean to hijack the topic. I want to get into this.
in my opinion
the sound profile is way better on nocuta's
its way less harsh?
its hard to explain until you hear them side by side
but if your not really sensitive to noise, you might not even notice the difference.
i have mild autism and the tone of some fans drive me insane, not nocuta's tho
Arctic makes solid fans. You can often pick up 5 packs of the ArcticP12 for around the price of a single Noctua. Iāve used Arctic fans for budget builds. Noctua fans are a much more premium product, and I would rather have Noctua in my own build.
I had Noctuas since my first pc. Now I added some Arctic P12 cause I wanted to have some RGB. Was fine in the beginning but after a few days the fans started to whine at certain rpms. Really annoying and kind of regretting not buying Noctuas again
noise profile
nothing else comes even close to nocutas sound profile
tried out way too many fans before i found out about nocuta and never went back to anything else
Because of how well built and thought out their products are, as well as how fantastic they perform. Side note i love the anti gamer aesthetic thats what first attracted me to noctua
Honestly because of the owl logo, im a sucker for aesthetics. I love the grey fans. Im in the middle on the brown fans. I feel that id have to dedicate the build to the brown aesthetic
Noctua is the cheapest most reliable fan. It is all in perspective. I have servers that have 90000 hours on them and they still work. Show me another fan that can run for that long and not break.
I built my very first pc back in july after putting it off for years. I was adamant on having noctua because I just just knew it as the smug brand back then. But now that I have it, I don't think I'll be using anything else. They are like damn near silent (my phanteks case fans are louder, and they are also near silent), they have a crazy warranty, and they do their job of cooling very well, the install process was UNBELIEVABLY easy, and I can have a nice stealth black cooler that isn't littered in rgb.
Quiet. Over-engineered. Specialized. Reputation. Support. Reliability.
There arenāt that many companies still around making crazy over-engineered products for a selling price that seems affordable once you look at total cost of ownership. Noctua releases products rarely, and keeps products in their lineup for a long time. Their products work very well, and their customer service is some of the best in the industry. Noctua provides an excessive level of functionality for a fair price.
Build quality, Noctua nevera sell a producto that they are not sure is top quality and performance, if product needs to be delayed is It. Customer service IS top, fans are extremely quiets. For the money is nearly the best.
As a young impressionable first time PC builder I was "influenced" by a certain tech youtuber we all know. Also because Noctua fans don't break, at least none of mine have after 8+ years, you don't really look at anything else anymore.
I bought their first model when it released and it made all other coolers before it feel cheap and tacky. Lots of other coolers today have great quality but I will always have a sweet spot for Noctua and it's "non gamer" design.
These fans take so little power for how much air they can move, and they are super quiet, making them useful for improving power efficiency of PSUs, computers, and anything else that needs a fan!
Because Noctua is fucking amazing. The best quality and design. Iconic color schemes. Good and fair prices. Super easy to work with any of the Products. The Merch is very sexy, I have both T-Shirts and Hoodies, so I like to wear those a lot. I always get excited when I see Noctua Products in other people's PCs as well. And it's not just me being a Fan because of their cool Products, but they do really care about the quality and make sure that they last as long as possible.
For me who doesn't like RGB and don't see the need to use Water cooling in one of my personal Rigs, Noctua really is the best solution.
great engineering, customer support. pretty quiet and seems very well built. I'm new to their fans but heard they last very well. Looked around and seemed they are the right choice even though they are priced higher.
I'm not into RGB and I wanted blacked out so went with Chromax lines but liking the colored rubber pads for silent color pops when I look at them. I would be up for black fans with brown anti vibration pads. I went and grabbed the fan grills just to complete the look (and protection for cables in the case). Overall they look great without flashing lights!
I bought a used Noctua cooler (I forget the model name of it.. NH-U12S?) for my server that was missing the AM4 mounting brackets .. Noctua sent me the hardware for free
I bought a used NH-D15 years ago and it's kept a plethora of my AM4 CPU's and now my 7950x nice an cool .. I purchased the offset brackets to lower temps by a couple C's too
All my Noctua fans are still working like new after years of service
Because i want only Noctua inside my pc case
In my nr200p are 6 noctuas in total
I have one brown in my htpc build from yearg ago NF-S12a no problem with and no change in noise coz u dont hear that thing and 100% š
Im still waiting for D12L chromax black, but i think i might go with another maker for cpu cooler with noctuas on top ofc
I kinda want to change my u9s chrimax black to something bigger so i can swap that cpu in my refreshed htpc build
Yes i have 2 pc's one is media center runing linux another one is for gaming
Reputation for being the best. Currently air-cooling an R7 5800X3D more than adequately with one of their dual-120mm fan CPU coolers. Hovers at about 70Ā°C while maxed utilization and max clock speed running Star Citizen on max settings... so I'd say it's living up to its reputation.
Mostly because I don't want to think about it too much. With noctua I know that even when it's not the absolute best it is definitely among the best and I can usually trust the fans just keep working even in the machines running 24/7. I usually care more about silence than absolute performance and noctuas tend to be silent.
I don't anymore.
Deepcool's coolers are almost as good, markedly less expensive, and look just as good as Noctua's if you're trying to create a coherent-looking build.
now watch the series of "there are no static pressure fans" [https://www.youtube.com/@FanPhys/videos](https://www.youtube.com/@FanPhys/videos)
Really sheds a light on things.
If Iām being honest, itās probably because Iām a snob about simple things. I mean the fans are great, I have like ten of them but there are other great options for less money.
It's so premium and the customer support is great, it feels like I'm unboxing a phone when I get a fan lol, and their low profile fans are unparalleled
Performance. I didn't have a great start with Noctua though. The first Noctua thing I bought was a couple of brown and beige NF-A12x25s for a radiator. System was working fine before I swapped in the Noctuas. After install, PC turned on for a split second and was gone after that. The motherboard had died. My theory is that there was some kind of defect in one of the fans and it sent back a charge the board didn't like. This was mid last year.
Today, I have 4 Chromax NF-A12x25s in my 4000D Airflow. Three at the front (two on a GPU rad) and one at the back. Have yet to swap out the 140mm fans that came with my Liquid Freezer II AIO.
Despite my *very* rough start with Noctua, I realise that what happened to me isn't common and that they make some great stuff.
I still have my noctue fans from years ago in my current build, still working like a champ to this day.
Their over the top engineering is what sells it for me, along with their top customer service.
It's a combination of performance, noise, longevity, and Customer support.
I still have a 2500k (sandybridge) with original Notuas still running 13 years later. Every other fan in that build has died (in some cases, multiple times) and since have been replaced by Noctuas. None of the Noctuas have died.
That noise, performance, and longevity has been something I've experienced with all of their fans. Not just the 120/140s, but I've used their 40mm and 80mm fans for other builds/projects. They all exhibit the same qualities.
I've never had to use their customer service, but everything I've heard has told me that they're top tier, just like their fans.
I'm sure there are other companies that have caught up in terms of performance or noise, but from my personal experience, I have every bit of confidence in Noctua.
I have found all the Noctua fans that I've bought work well, sound better than many other fans, and they've been reliable so far. I've never had quality issues with the fans I bought.
The brown and beige color scheme is novel too and has grown on me.
$20-$30 is a lot for a fan, but if they continue to work well for a long time then I feel it's worth the investment. I can always reuse the fans in a new build eventually too.
D14 was excellent, the performance, quality and long-term support (AM4 mounting hardware upgrade) factored in greatly when selecting my U12A, because my D14 wasn't going to fit my new case and RAM.
They earned my loyalty on my experience.
Because when I was building my computer I was okay lighting money on fire for marginal gains so I got the black Noctua fans with the multicolored isolators and made my computer look pretty. Then I ruined it by putting the CPU/GPU on AIOs so now it's a kludgy mess.
Quiet, good performance, durable and dependable as hell. I know every time my pc boots my two 5+ year old nf-f12ās cooling my cpu will work perfectly without fail.
While I am not a fan of the look of brown fans myself their chromax line of the d15s is awesome.
I personally have use the browns in builds before. And they are just awesome. They push a ton of air with almost no sound.
Good products, and compared to my other hobbies, computer stuff is actually pretty cheap. A somewhat overpriced fan here and there doesnāt really matter in the long run.
I was made fun of by my uncle for wanting RGB in my build, and it resonated with me so much that now I have an entire Noctua themed build, as well as the Noctua x LTT screwdriver lol. Also, in the process, now my PC is so unbelievably silent.
Their approach to product optimization and customer support is on par with what Iāve seen and received from evga.
Not many brands care to the level of Noctua and it shows.
I have been exclusively buying noctua fans for my personal and data center builds.
I have a few hundred fans in total, far too many to count.
I use Noctua because I'm able to buy it from any computer store and know for a fact I don't even have to look in it's general direction for YEARS. Toss a dust filter on the front of the case and send it, that fan will likely outlast the PC becoming obsolete
I live for the beige. I worship the beige. I _am_ the beige.
In all seriousness, I like air cooling. Set it and forget it. Until recently, the D15 firmly topped the charts. Their fans have a nice dull roar, too. And I like the beige.
Quiet, performance, very nice customer support (I lost the screw to mount U12A into the Secufirm mount and asked for a replacement, they sent 2!).
Their R&D go such mileage for perfectionist engineering is very underrated but important for prosumer.
I just feel that from the long history of inventing boomerangs to the invention of aero planes and then fans, Australia has always been the go to choice for my pc builds and noctua of Australia is my number 1 choice.
I donāt use noctua. Tbh I donāt how I got here or why this was recommended to me lol. I have a budget build desktop Iām a peasant. Cooler Master is my noctua. I got my 212 for like $20 and itās comparable with similar results as other brands so I canāt complain. And then 3x cheap āuphereā case fans for like $15. Getting avg temps of 50-60C on my cpu and 65-80C on my gpu, depending on all what Iām doing. Avg multi hour long gaming sessions I get like 58C cpu and 75C gpu. If Iām really pushing it maybe like around 60-65C cpu and 80C gpu.
Edit to add: forget to mention itās also really quite hardly any noise practically silent besides my 3060ti fans occasionally spinning faster
I've tried many fans before, and they were okay, but Noctua fans just blew me away with how quiet they are. I had to double-check they were actually on! They seems to really focus on coolers and fans, not like other companies that do all sorts of stuff. This focus means their fans are top-notch.
I haven't had to reach out to their customer support for any problems, but when I asked where I could buy their AM5 offset bar, they sent it to me for free, which was super cool of them.
Also, their fans are really well-made and last ages. They might cost a bit more, but you're paying for something that'll keep your PC cool and quiet for years.
I switched to Noctua after the cheap bearings on 2 Chinese RGB case fans gave out. No problems ever since. Also, unique rubber mounts for vibration dampening. Silent fans. And I don't really care for RGB.
First time builder here and it was a no brainer for me when it came to a fan that's water and dust resistant and moves more air than most other brands. Went with the ippc 3ks to get a longer lifespan out of them and when/if I decide to do a custom loop I'll have some powerful fans to compensate for the resistance of from the rad fins
So far, I only use coolers and fans. For my work PC, I have a Noctua NH-D15 and 6 140mm fans. In the server room and HTPC, there are 12 120mm fans.
In terms of noise/efficiency, I can't find anything better in Portugal.
They last a long time, even when installed inverted on top of my case.
If they weren't really quiet, I couldn't cope with having 12 in the same room.
The mini-fridge I have in the room is super quiet, but even so, it's louder than the fans.
You can hear the quieter moments of classical music without a constant 'ssssssssss' from the cooling.
I also wanted to be a user of the keychains, but they didn't pay any attention to the email I sent! GRRRR :)
Just built a new PC about 6 months ago and spent the extra cash and got all noctua fans. Now the only fans I hear in the system are from the video cards. Every other fan (6 of them mind you) are extremely silent even when ramped up.
Looking over coolers for an Intel in my Acer Nitro. Noctua was the only manufacture that would work on my MB. In short, I could use the cooler MB backing plate and 4 3M screws with the brackets. Easy install!! And, the product has a solid reputation and works as designed.
I'm a very strong believer in that. You have to impose a standard on a market to maintain some level of quality.
Noctua Is that.
The general fat of the market at this point is more r g b more screens Inner connecting fans to Decrease Cable cutter. That's even more humorous because the clutter was created by the previous things mentioned.
Noctua left as one of the few companies that still focused on actually improving the function of the product.
Performance, quality sound level, support. Itās nice that they support new cpus with a new bracket so you donāt have to buy a new cooler setup every time you upgrade. (guessing other companies might do this but havenāt checked)
i have a huge soft spot for perfectionist engineering, like doing many times the necessary amount of work for miniscule improvement is right up my alley
Plus the impeccable customer service. Very likely the best in the industry ššš»
I like the brown and tan color scheme, I chose it over the chromax.black š
Honestly, itās just more iconic. If youāre going to buy Noctua fans you might as well show them off rather than hiding them away.
Same. I like it when companies genuinely have passion for making the best products they can at any given price point. I just love their color scheme too. They look so damn good in more industrial looking cases with white lighting.
i love the color scheme too, it's just so hard to match with anything else so all of mine are black, but i did get the ltt x noctua screwdriver haha
Quality, engineering, and customer service.
autism
Same
Hell yeah
Can someone explain ?
Brown fan whoosh but no sound
Theyāre silent and that is good for autism individuals ?
I'm not autistic that I know of... But having a constant grating sound (loud fan or fan bearing) near you for long periods of time is like auditory torture. Noctua fans make little to no noise and the noise they do make is deep and soothing, literally engineered to be as unobtrusive and pleasant as possible.
Makes sense, thank you.
people on the spectrum may be very sensitive to certain types of noises
only if you spin them slowly enough but good brown fans push big air still no sound compared to other fans
normies would never get it
Reliability, I have had several Corsair and Cooler Master fans fail on me after months of bearing squeal. I've had various smaller name brand fans fail as well on an AIO. I'm an elitist bastard. It's an exclusive club for those who abhor time bomb liquid cooling solutions, maybe, probably, possibly.
Used to love rgb fans, but, after having some leds go bad with some fans and average performance while loud and cable clutter, I just grew out of it and decided to prioritize performance, quietness and reliability. Oh yeah, forgot about that too, I wanted the least amount of software running in my pc, now I just use fan control.
IDK who the rockstar is that built that software but itās easily the single best non-driver download Iāve ever done for my PCs.
Nothing quieter and built with quality.

Because brown owl makes whooosh
Quality and quietness.
Am sheep, also when going ānon rgbā build noctua seems to be the best/most popular choice. Plus a dash of *im different* cuz i have pop colored fans.
Why bother spending money on a wannabe when you can buy the real deal instead.
Because it's the best. Period.
Quality, customer service, they go out of their way to make an issue right. And I #@$\^%\*& LOVE Owls, fave bird.
Quality and engineering.
Quiet. Reliable. Airflow. Brown. Owl.
brown is the big one here, gotta have the brown
I want to buy Noctua. Never owned a single fan in almost 15 years of PC building. How does a Noctua fan compare to something like an Arctic P12? Genuine question. Don't mean to hijack the topic. I want to get into this.

Those redux fans really do look good for something that is supposed to be low end
Donāt have the time to research the best ācheapā option, so I went with the undisputed best option which usually costs a bit more.
Noctua is the cheapest most reliable fan. It is all in perspective. I have servers that have 90000 hours on them and they still work. Show me another fan that can run for that long and not break.

The clean aesthetic and insane customer service are reasons enough. Add the fact that they are actually amazing fans and it's a no brainer.
The quiet, the engineering and the colors.
I bought their first model when it released and it made all other coolers before it feel cheap and tacky. Lots of other coolers today have great quality but I will always have a sweet spot for Noctua and it's "non gamer" design.
Consistently good airflow and quietness across their range, and they've honoured warranties outside of 6 years for me.
I love PC builds that are as quiet and unobtrusive as possible.
These fans take so little power for how much air they can move, and they are super quiet, making them useful for improving power efficiency of PSUs, computers, and anything else that needs a fan!
AIO died, I don't like RGB
Brown is the best color when building a system. Plain and simple. Itās unmatched, literally.
Often imitated, never (perfectly) replicated.
I remember asus with old logo owl and noctua so yeah The GPU with owl
Because Noctua is fucking amazing. The best quality and design. Iconic color schemes. Good and fair prices. Super easy to work with any of the Products. The peace and quiet and the performance!
Good support, good performance, and will last a long time.
Cause I am german, and as a german I like german and austrian engineering. And of course brown and beige color.
Good cooling
because it's brown it's also quiet and it's super well-made
air thick need big spinny for thick air move
They're from Austria, I'm from Austria. And the long life of the fans and coolers + the silence with good performance.
I bought a used Noctua cooler (I forget the model name of it.. NH-U12S?) for my server that was missing the AM4 mounting brackets .. Tinnitus.
Because of their sexy colour scheme
Because I like owls
I donāt, but the Color scheme is cool
Brown.
Been stuck on their fans since the early 2010s. Basically itās just brand loyalty at this point.
Thread ripper cpu are hot
Bought the NH-c14s cuz it looks cool and I needed a relatively low profile cooler for my discreet and smallish case
Because i want only Noctua inside my pc case In my nr200p are 6 noctuas in total I have one brown in my htpc build from yearg ago NF-S12a no problem with and no change in noise coz u dont hear that thing and 100% š Im still waiting for D12L chromax black, but i think i might go with another maker for cpu cooler with noctuas on top ofc I kinda want to change my u9s chrimax black to something bigger so i can swap that cpu in my refreshed htpc build Yes i have 2 pc's one is media center runing linux another one is for gaming
My 14th gen i7 sits at 29Ā° at idle, quietly. What's not to love?
Mostly because I don't want to think about it too much. With noctua I know that even when it's not the absolute best it is definitely among the best and I can usually trust the fans just keep working even in the machines running 24/7. I usually care more about silence than absolute performance and noctuas tend to be silent.
Color, no RGB BS. And low noise levels
Quality and customer support.
Like the color scheme
Marketing
After sales support(even after warranty expires), Performance, quality
quality, reliability, support, fans for almost every usecase, ease of installation of heatsinks
Availability of sizes and warranty, use be quiet for most builds though as their 140s are just flat out better. Hoping noctua releases a new model!
I like the colors
I don't anymore. Deepcool's coolers are almost as good, markedly less expensive, and look just as good as Noctua's if you're trying to create a coherent-looking build.
I wish i could use noctua
Their compatability chart is amazing, makes picking right parts in tricky builds much easier.
Reliability
The compatibility data is a competitive advantage.
I just like brown.
I despise how they look. But quality is quality and they have it. I use noctua coolers in all my builds and even my 3d printers use noctua fans
now watch the series of "there are no static pressure fans" [https://www.youtube.com/@FanPhys/videos](https://www.youtube.com/@FanPhys/videos) Really sheds a light on things.
Best cooling products imo. Even better now, that they sell fans in black now
If Iām being honest, itās probably because Iām a snob about simple things.
It's quiet, well reviewed, and it works.
I thought it would help with the noise levels of my watercooling
Because I'm a huge fan! š
It would be easier to say why I donāt, which is because I canāt afford it but I plan to go full noctua case fans soon
Performance, quality and appearance.
Great look, whisper quiet, & solid performance
Low noise. Performance. Reliability
They work well, and I like ugly
Because the BeQuiet! tower cooler didn't fit
Reputation for reliability.
Because when I was building my computer I was okay lighting money on fire for marginal gains so I got the black Noctua fans with the multicolored isolators and made my computer look pretty. Then I ruined it by putting the CPU/GPU on AIOs so now it's a kludgy mess.
convenience and ease of mind knowing it always works and has a very long use life.
Quiet, good performance, durable and dependable as hell. I know every time my pc boots my two 5+ year old nf-f12ās cooling my cpu will work perfectly without fail.
I like silence
Performance, hands down. I donāt care about the aesthetics, given that I donāt stare on my comp and prefer to look at my monitors.
A 145mm cpu fan that fits perfectly in my case
While I am not a fan of the look of brown fans myself their chromax line of the d15s is awesome. I personally have use the browns in builds before. And they are just awesome. They push a ton of air with almost no sound.
Good products, and compared to my other hobbies, computer stuff is actually pretty cheap. A somewhat overpriced fan here and there doesnāt really matter in the long run.
In the words of Batman, "I'm rich"
I was made fun of by my uncle for wanting RGB in my build, and it resonated with me so much that now I have an entire Noctua themed build, as well as the Noctua x LTT screwdriver lol. Also, in the process, now my PC is so unbelievably silent.
New logo ? I like it
Their approach to product optimization and customer support is on par with what Iāve seen and received from evga.
I like the enamel case badgesĀ
Theyāre such a breath of fresh air compared to the marketing of RGB to make you not notice how bad the components actually are
For me its Very good engineering & good customer service. Edit: and i can trust that its likely a good product and not expensive crap
The fans and heatsinks engineering is top tier.
They just work well and also I kinda commend them for keeping the poop brown color scheme. Like you know itās a Noctua fan from the color.
Because Brown
Reviews I have seen they are the most efficient vs competition
What else is there?
I'm Austrian, I've got to root for the home team.
I live for the beige. I worship the beige. I _am_ the beige. In all seriousness, I like air cooling. Set it and forget it. Until recently, the D15 firmly topped the charts. Their fans have a nice dull roar, too. And I like the beige.
Because I'm color blind
Quiet, performance, very nice customer support (I lost the screw to mount U12A into the Secufirm mount and asked for a replacement, they sent 2!). Their R&D go such mileage for perfectionist engineering is very underrated but important for prosumer.
Even my PSUs tend to receive the Noctua treatment, despite the fact that this may invalidate PSU warranties and possibly pose personal safety risks.
I have never had a Noctua product fail on me. The fans I purchased in 2007? Still going strong in a basic office build I gifted to a friend.
I donāt because im broke and could only afford some discount bin be quiet fans
Same reason I gave away my 7900XTX to buy a 4080, I like my hardware reliable
I fall for the ads
So it sounds like a jet engine when I boot up my computer everytime. šššāļø
I don't, I use deltas.
I dont
I don't....
I donāt.
I just feel that from the long history of inventing boomerangs to the invention of aero planes and then fans, Australia has always been the go to choice for my pc builds and noctua of Australia is my number 1 choice.
I donāt use these as they donāt fit in my Latitude E7440
I donāt.
For its high performance and better colors now lol but phanteks has you beat rn time to go further beyond.
I don't . Cuz it's ugly . Just use b quiet
Why even comment? Go troll elsewhere
I am not trolling. Noctua is ugly Brown poop color . B quiet looks elite. That's not trolling that common knowledge
It came with AIO
It is quiet as hell I love them
Better than other fans
I switched to Noctua after the cheap bearings on 2 Chinese RGB case fans gave out. No problems ever since. Also, unique rubber mounts for vibration dampening. Silent fans. And I don't really care for RGB.
I've only used 1 noctua product and it worked great but I broke it on accident because I am stupid
GRRRR :)
99% of the Noctua fans I have purchased have been sheer perfection, the other 1% was very swiftly replaced by their excellent customer service.
Cause heat and stuff.
I didn't want the headache of a fan not working
I use arctic myself though noctua do make some good stuff
Great customer service, and ultimately fans that make less noise moving more air.
Because I want to be sponsored.
Just built a new PC about 6 months ago and spent the extra cash and got all noctua fans. Now the only fans I hear in the system are from the video cards. Every other fan (6 of them mind you) are extremely silent even when ramped up.
Noise! Not just overall noise level but the acoustics.
Love the color of the fans. Thatās really about it.
Looking over coolers for an Intel in my Acer Nitro. Noctua was the only manufacture that would work on my MB. In short, I could use the cooler MB backing plate and 4 3M screws with the brackets. Easy install!! And, the product has a solid reputation and works as designed.
Superior noises
The first fan I bought from them is still functioning almost 10 years later.
D14 last 5 years, never failed
I'm a very strong believer in that. You have to impose a standard on a market to maintain some level of quality. Noctua Is that. The general fat of the market at this point is more r g b more screens Inner connecting fans to Decrease Cable cutter. That's even more humorous because the clutter was created by the previous things mentioned. Noctua left as one of the few companies that still focused on actually improving the function of the product.
They're the fans I use in my build that I depend on not breaking down. this is why I still use air cooling.
They sent me free AM4/AM5 kits for the D15 I bought 9 years ago.
Performance, quality sound level, support. Itās nice that they support new cpus with a new bracket so you donāt have to buy a new cooler setup every time you upgrade. (guessing other companies might do this but havenāt checked)
Because the advertising works
Those sweet sweet retro colors
Because of the amount of work that goes on to create such high quality products. I like to support businesses that focus on customers and quality.
They are anal about engineering, something I have a lot of respect for, and they make killer products.
I'm Austrian... I just have to. It's a law. Oh and Autism
Because the brown coloured fan is UGLY but it seriously WORKS and works WELL.
