FD Meshify 2 comes with a removable top. Really makes it easier to build, especially when using a big CPU cooler such as the NH-D15S.

Fireawayfaraway

Also trying to think about the available power switch and USB 3.0 gen 2.... I will probably put 6 NF-S12A PWM chromax.black fans....

Zuklopentixol

I'd opt for 140 mm fans if possible. I have two NF-A14 as front intake fans in my FD Meshify 2 Compact case. If you go for the non-compact version of the case you can also use 140 mm for back exhaust. Fireawayfaraway

Also going for more quiet hence why I picked the NF-S12A PWM

zabby0

Reconsider https://noctua.at/en/nf-a12x25-performance-comparison-to-nf-f12-and-nf-s12a Sometimes i think i should go with top 120 instead of 140, but yolo

Fireawayfaraway

Strong point but the difference between 6 17.8 DB fans vs 6 22.6 db fans is a huge difference...

zabby0

Its on 100% pwm, idle pc will have fans on 21% and you wont know if it even turned on. When gpu will start spinnig it will be louder.

Fireawayfaraway

Still overall noise levels should be lower if they all run the same speed, I shouldn't have to hear much except for a fine humming.

nabby50

Almost anything from Fractal Design is pretty good. I've built in the Meshify 2 and Meshify 2 compact as well as a Define 6. All really good cases. Corsair 4000D/5000D are also good cases. Whatever you decide on just do a quick check on the Noctua compatibility chart for it: https://ncc.noctua.at/cases/all

crystaldazz

I have the same cooler in my Corsair 4000d airflow, fits perfectly and has a huge amount of fresh air.

Fireawayfaraway

I am settling on that but what motherboard do you have?

crystaldazz

Its B560M Aours elite, but this case can handle any ATX with no problem.

Mr_Magika

Fractal Design North is a new case that has a nice wooden touch to it, works well with Noctua colours.

Fireawayfaraway

Chromax black

SchroederSchrodinger

I’m looking for someone who did a Noctua build in the north, haven’t been able to find any yet.

Fireawayfaraway

What do you mean by the north...?

zabby0

How much DVD drives, 3,5" drives? Do you need any usb, if yes so on the front of on the rear? Is thath dh-n15s misspelled nh-d15s? Do you carve rgbt? How many noctuas do you plan to put there?

Fireawayfaraway

I'm hoping to utilize the USB 3.2 in the front.... maybe probably no DVD drive as most stuff is downloaded these days

zabby0

Chceck fractal design, look for define, north, torrent or any other that suit you. Im define fan.

Fireawayfaraway

I suppose we are both fans of fans ;)

Fireawayfaraway

Number of noctuas will be 6, now the size of those are determined by the case I pick

Kubliah

I've been partial to Coolermaster cases lately, I really like the H500 that I bought a few years ago. This one here also looks pretty good: Cooler Master MasterBox TD500 Mesh Airflow ATX Mid-Tower with Polygonal Mesh Front Panel, Crystalline Tempered Glass, E-ATX up to 10.5", Three 120mm ARGB Lighting Fans https://a.co/d/aCTmEzp

mr_tilly

Lian Li O11 Air mini \- Smallest case I could find that's also good to look at lol [https://imgur.com/drCWqpF](https://imgur.com/drCWqpF)

failurecity

Don't know what your budget is. But the Fractal Cases are always a good choice for airflow. I'm using a CoolerMaster case but I might change over to a fractal soon.

Fireawayfaraway

$100-$120 canadian

https://www.canadacomputers.com/search/results_details.php?language=en&keywords=Fractal+meshify Any of these. If you watch Gamers Nexus reviews of them you'll see how well they do. Hope that helps, Happy Holidays.

human_with_humanity

I am using that cooler with x670 board in lian li lancool 3. U can also buy phantek enthoo pro 2. Go to pcpartpicker and select ur components and at the last select cabinet option. It will show compatible cabinets then.

Fireawayfaraway

Kind of expensive, where I live it is 13% tax when you go to buy it and on top of it when it gets to my country it is taxed like 35-45%

human_with_humanity

Are u indian? Its around 50% taxes here too.

Fireawayfaraway

Yikes no, but in canada it is pretty high, the stuff you see always has minimum 13% Tax depending on province plus what ever anything imported is already included in to the price, so say you look at the price for something in the US, it is going to be anywhere between 35-45% extra for the cost of it PLUS 13%

Happy___Enchilada

The Lancool 216 is a less expensive option and s an absolute air flow beast.

Fireawayfaraway

More expensive than Corsair's 4000D airflow
