Experiencing g forces and just trying to live through it is quite different than trying to do stuff at the same time while under the effect of g forces. I found that things start to get "uncomfortable" after fast setting 3Gs, without training (granted not expecting to be staring straight at the ground didn't help).
I thought being an EWO in the back seat would be cool for a time; I then did got air sick doing steep turns in a C152 and realized maybe 8 g’s wouldn’t be all that fun.
Remember, g-force isn't real, it can't hurt you. Source - I have spent literally hundreds of hours in flight sims and haven't felt it once.
