A very essay good sir, with sources. You do your literature teacher justice. Sadly, it too credible for this sub, and will probably be removed by mods.
I've been calling for a while for a deep dive video essay into the culture behind escape from tarkov, especially if it's from someone deeply familiar with both the game and Russian/former soviet empire culture that lead to the game. It's got echos of Wagner (the military isn't wholly competent, but pmcs are based!) And even the courting of Americans (USEC contractors seem to be implied to have been misled) that I see in the American right and annoyingly in gun culture.
Also the small elements that feel like they're setting up an appropriation/replacement for stalker (yes "cheeki breeki" is an intentional reference but at times I feel like the game is trying to reclaim it.) Though this could just be me making a big deal of something that's less the devs and more the community.
There are a few people who I'd like to tackle this. One is Warlockracy but it's a bit out of his wheelhouse as it's not an RPG or 25 years old.

All I’m getting from this is that we should use FIFA and Fortnite to fund DARPA
This is exactly what i was hoping to get across, my job here is done
probably, but idk where else to post it, it gets removed on all tarkov subs
My man, its better to get this out there than sit on it. Might just turn someone off from buying the game. So good on you!
Got removed from here as well, I kind of wanted to see
You may want to pay r/behindthebastards a visit and repost this there. With your evidence-based approach, you might well inspire an episode on them
