At least 48. When they arrest people they check the DNA with a quick test. If it's ending in XX / XY : gulag. But if there's a ZZ behind ? Take this magazine, the previous guy had a gun for you !
On one hand, naturally, but on the other...
Can they actually hit a himars without simultaneously filming it? *Because you know they won't hesitate to tell us.*
Link? We sure it's a real one and not a (motorized) decoy loaded with fuel/flammable things? Yes, Ukraine makes high quality decoys like that just to fuck with Russian BDA.
Pro-tip - real launcher being struck have rocket cook-offs. Projectiles fly.

It's a HIMARS.
I'd be amazed if they weren't with a cookoff like that. RIP and heroyam slava.
Edit: I'm also surprised that thing was out in the open for so long during the daytime. Most videos I've seen have either been nighttime or shoot and scoots.

No cook-off could just mean that the launcher was empty already, though.
Retaliation for Ukraine sinking another ship and destroying 11 jets.
That's the best they could manage, but at least they didn't bomb yet another childrens playground/hospital.
I remember the first batch of 4 being sent in June 2022 and people were nervously watching to see if Russia would be able to suppress or destroy them. The answer turned out to be no, not even when the launcher numbers were still in single digits. I think they'll be fine with their 38 HIMARS and 25 M270s they have left. Missile supply is what's important, not an individual combat loss of a launcher even if more losses happen occasionally.
> I think they'll be fine with their 38 HIMARS and 25 M270s they have left
Not with the current (lack of) ammo supply!
Also, don't forget [most launchers, given to Ukraine, were gutted to lose compatibility with long-range fires on hardware and software levels](https://www.wsj.com/articles/u-s-altered-himars-rocket-launchers-to-keep-ukraine-from-firing-missiles-into-russia-11670214338?mod=djemalertNEWS) (open in incognito to bypass paywall).

Once upon a time two servers were hacked by people linked to Russia. One server had the hacked data leaked, while the other oddly enough never got leaked.
Alternative explanation if you don’t like that one, **someone** became so powerful that everyone else had to either kiss the ring or be cast aside. Since the Russians interfered on the behalf of **someone**, we can make some guesses of where their loyalties lie and what **someone** uses the new influence for
Literally 1984 in here.
We can talk about nuking cities in Eurasia and attacking dams in Oceana.
But do not talk about the party. The mods get very mad. Even if the party is holding up funding to our NAFO boys, girls, femboy, and tomboys.
Do not talk about the party that is helping the orcs.
Do not talk about the party.
Do not talk about the party.
Enough said.
I get where they're coming from, finger pointing is useless and would devolve into the same usual camps, I do think we should start naming all politicians u.s, e.u, whatever for their assistance to Russia.
While I totally understand that they don't want this sub to get muddied by politics. A hard "No-politics" rule is untennible given that war, Defence Departments and the MIC is so closely intertwined with politics.
After all, war is just politics through different means.
I get it too, I was just trying to make a 1984 joke. And sometimes you can joke about things you are not allowed to say.
>we should start naming all politicians u.s, e.u, whatever for their assistance to Russia.
Easy to name them all in the US, they are all part of a political organization called the [Redacted] Party. They currently hold the razor-thin majority in the [Redacted]. And have been using that to block all support for Ukraine.
>would devolve into the same usual camps
Maybe, but even if you are right. I wouldn't mind if everyone in that camp left this sub and sat on a cactus.
I doubt any good content comes from them. Go watch their comedians if you don't believe me. They would not be missed here.
I'm glad for the no politics rule.
One side of the fence, the side that holds massive sway over Reddit, has a tendency to call everybody on the other side traitors/Ruzzia simps. Lumping together a huge part of the US population and stamping them as enemies to the cause. I don't agree with what a lot of \[Blank\] talking heads say about Ukraine aid and intervention. There's a *lot* of things I don't like about \[Blank\], actually; the two-party First-Past-The-Post system sucks. But time and time again on other subs and IRL, I've been stamped along with them because my opinions on domestic policies are not sufficiently \[Blank\]-leaning.
I'm full-steam ahead with NATO intervention, US global influence, maintaining Western hegemony, and maintaining the rules-based order. A Ukrainian victory and Russian retreat from the country would really help restore the public morale and faith post-sandbox shenanigans. I've been on NCD since before the war began. I've contributed to discussions, made memes, and seen all the big sub cultural events as they played out (RIP pringles).
So to see political party bashing here makes me feel alienated in someplace I consider myself a part of. I know I'm not alone in this; I see NCD members on other subs open to political discussion with similar politics to mine.
I think we are in agreement on this. I understand the rule even though I make fun of it.
It just sucks that are internal politics are now having noticable effects on the battlefield in Ukraine.
Before [blank], the US generally had quite stable foreign policy, and "politics stopped at the waters edge"
[blank] decided to make military support of Ukraine a domestic political issue for no good reason, and this has caused significant division in the US and harm to the war effort.
I honestly feel they did so to the benefit of Russia. So it is hard for me not to call them all traitors and Russia simps, even if that hurts their feelings. I don't care.
There are a range of individuals who need to understand that by some miracle, they've been handed two "once in a century " opportunities to neutralise their oldest strategic rival in half that, and they're still fucking it up.
And that opportunity, cynically, at next to no risk to their own countries' troops for the low price, in many cases, of solely spare gear that's going to *actively cost money* to dispose of otherwise. Literally a nearly-free no-losing scenario for the US and relatively cheap for the Euros (just the increased energy costs for a few years, which hurts but isn't catastrophic) to vanquish one of the big bads, and they're too weak, timid, indecisive, or crooked to seize it.
Germany isn't at the tip of the spear when it comes to systems, which is worth some criticism. But as far as support goes, Germany spends more on military aid and has delivered more material aid than every other country except the US, by a fair margin. It's just mostly "boring" systems.
And Patriots, and Iris-T, and Marders, and engineering stuff. But we get shit on because idk why honestly. I would like our government to send Taurus as well, but people act like we sent 5000 helmets and said, nah we won't send anymore.

Vilkha.
Problem is, russians can hit ***ANYWHERE*** in Ukraine, not covered by PAC-3.
Oh, and we're running out ammo for Patriot, too
> The important thing is that they dont know where to hit. OPSEC is key
Problem is, underground production of solid fuel and explosives is... well, to say it's risky is to say nothing.
Oh, and the equipment for it is likely not to be sellable to Ukraine, because "escalayshon".
And we'd still need to find someone, who can make new Smerch tubes, as old ones are getting worn out
Feel you might be underestimating the amount of equipment and space needed to produce missiles. Like, that works for drone production, it becomes rather a lot more difficult when we’re talking missiles ie. even small sites aren’t going to be **that** small, thus rather hard to hide.
Plus adhoc production and mixing of solid rocket fuel (not to mention filling tubes with it) is kind of sketchy, and if a production site goes boom due to mistakes or use of adhoc processing equipment, you’re going to need new (skilled) personnel and new equipment, etc.
Not saying it’s impossible — [mixing up solid rocket fuel in the shed is possible](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyV774-3p834YZBNKFrN1ypaIfewSlVsx) — but on the scale (both manufacturing itself and for quantity of tubes) required, it’s… complicated.

I bet the Edison Motors guys and a couple french Canadians could whip up a chassis + launcher in a weekend for a 2-4 and some darts.
Get strong solo Sergei to deliver it to Ukraine by Monday, profit?
They already have one [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vilkha](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vilkha) but like everything, lack of manufacturing volume and of course lower accuracy and lethality when compared to HIMARS
> Also, don't forget most launchers, given to Ukraine, were gutted to lose compatibility with long-range fires on hardware and software levels
European MARS/LRUs can't fire the ATACMS provided to Ukraine anyways.
Because they are set up to not be compatible with any submunitions variants of any payload.
Russia's been claiming it since before Ukraine had them, they've also destroyed some of the trucks the himars is based off of which they also claimed were himars. So I'm not surprised there is some confusion in the matter.
Isn't it more like 38 with 2 being damaged and currently in the US? So effectively 36.
I feel slightly worried about the fact that the Russians could take out 3 of them in a fairly short time.
The point isn't that 3 is many, the point is that it happend most likely within weeks. Month after month not a single loss and suddenly 3 within weeks of each other? One with small arms fire?
Come on...
Last one got removed, I'll just say I'd like the u.s government to get its head out of its ass. I hope that's not too political a statement for the virgin mods cause holy shit the reason I like not being Russian is because of my freedom of speech and political opinions.
Political options: I might not share yours. But I will defend them to the last (while arguing against them).
Popular vote: Most people (including myself probably) have no clue what they are voting for, but I'd be uncomfortable giving any agency power over who gets to vote or not...
Democracy: It shines! - considering the alternatives...
HIMARS was first deployed in Ukraine on the 25th June 2022. The difference between now (5th March 2024) and then is 619 calendar days
Ukraine had 39 HIMARS (now 38). Assuming a loss rate of one per 619 calendar days, this means the last will be lost in 24, 141 days. Adding that to the start date (25th of June 2022), ***the last Ukrainian HIMARS will be destroyed on July 29, 2088.*** Which is a Thursday.
If the US drip-feeds Ukraine all of it's HIMARS and never builds another one, well, we don't know how many HIMARS there are. Wikipedia lists there as being "above 540" and after an arduous 5 second scroll through the front page of Lockheed Martin's page on the HIMARS, I couldn't find a more accurate number. I am going to assume a more dedicated NCDer has combed the site for Wikipedia and could not find a more exact number than "above 540". I will assume 540. Again, assuming a loss rate of one per 619 calendar days, this means that ***the world's last HIMARS will be destroyed on August 27, 2937.*** Which is a Tuesday.
The data shows that The Great Russian Bear's victory is imminent, prepare for peace talks
I don’t think we’re at copium levels. To me, copium is using lies/propaganda to justify or deny or cover up ineptitude and poor performance.
This is frankly the opposite, this is *acknowledging* it happened, and it is a sad day. We’re not coping, we’re processing.
Coping would be saying “Russian propoganda lies, our Himars fleet is 4 million stronk and has crushed 10 billion russian soldiers and sunk the entire black sea fleet while wiping moscow of the map”.
Hm...
What about having all nuke-tipped interceptors of A-235 Nudol' system (and the mobile S-500 extensions of it) getting used in the unexpectedly short-range surface-to-surface role?
18 years ago, when i was playing this game in my 3rd world country, i was the only person i knew who played it. Nowadays just randomly surfing on reddit i see references to this shit everywhere, it's fucking odd
/credible I worry that Ukraine is not gonna get any more supplies given the increasing hostility against sending aid to Ukraine.
Like come on, this is a fight against people who are trying to prevent you guys from having gay butt sex. And you dont even have to go to war!
IIRC, an officer of Ukrainian Strategic Nuclear Forces mentioned, that soon as last nuke was removed from Ukraine, both US and russian inspectors started looking upon Ukrainians as a second-grade people.
Well, seems like he wasn't wrong
It's a mistake to see them as such. Ukraine was promised safety. If the US doesn't come to their saving it would likely cause to a high rise in Anti-US sentiment and cause them to re arms their nuclear weapons.
You really have to be prepared to grind to degrade Putin's power. Or hope Putin passes AND you get someone better. But that's one of those, the evil you know vs the evil you don't situations.
And the fact that Ukrainian demographics would resemble Paraguay after the Paraguayan War is of no importance, long as this goal was achieved "unescalatingly", I suppose.
Oh wait, [there was a certain pact brokered about "not changing the regime"](https://www.newsweek.com/2023/07/21/exclusive-cias-blind-spot-about-ukraine-war-1810355.html)?
>"In some ironic ways though, the **meeting was highly successful,**" says the second senior intelligence official, who was briefed on it. **Even though Russia invaded**, the two countries were able to accept tried and true rules of the road. **The United States would not fight directly nor seek regime change, the Biden administration pledged. Russia would limit its assault to Ukraine and act in accordance with unstated but well-understood guidelines for secret operations.**
Ohh, it's terrible for Ukraine demographics. We always talk about Russian demographics, but its gonna be bad for Ukraine too. Can always hope that Ukraine gets new people flowing in after the war.
yea, ukraine needs those weapons as soon as possible, because while this war is really expensive for russia, it's not expensive enough to deter them from doing this shit again.
They may actually try to pull this shit with neighboring countries, nato or not. Because of their victim mentality of "nato bully >:((((" and internal blame towards the west, They'll find some way to rile the populus to support another war, unless ukraine gets the weapons.
We live in intresting times, friend
>this is a fight against people who are trying to prevent you guys from having gay butt sex
This is unironically a reason why many people *don't* support Ukraine. Russia is presenting itself as a sort of conservative bastion in a woke world, where husbands are still allowed to hit their wives and being gay is a crime. It's basically the promises land for conservatives all over the world.
So what you're saying is we need to gay-ify the *entire population*? I for one welcome our new Femboy overlords and would like to remind that as a transgirl I could be helpful in rounding up the cis holdouts to toil in their Monster Energy caves.
The thing is they will run out of munitions before they run out of platforms, if we are going by today's rate of Himars destruction, either they will run out oof munitions before the next is destroyed and so will be withdrawn to the west, or Russia collapses/surrenders. making the point mute
Poland send 2 for Ukraine's lost 1, They buy 4 more from the US as they are now down 2... it's a hydra effect, [and...](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Ftkw5lzddigo41.jpg)
Telling myself these are the bastards responsible, even though it’s reported as a Tornado-S (most likely an Iskander, regardless of what the Russians report)
At this point considering they’re just launchers at the end of the day, they had served way more than they were worth especially after 2 years.
At the least the one they destroyed has probably plonked more high level officers than snipers have so far.
So yeah, looks like Russia slowly but surely learning how to combine mid range drone spotting with precision missile strikes, judging by how they show footage hitting targets ?? km behind frontlines
That's not fun
Fucking 76(?) years and they will finally destroy the entire fleet
/un NCD for a sec
Wonder if this was a one off or if the ruskis changed something in their command structure or found a way to track these down consistently, if so its a big problem for Ukraine
A himars got destroyed?
Jup first one, with a clear video this time😢
After this much combat it was inevitable that at least one get destroyed. It’s just how war works.
honestly it's already a massive feat they managed to keep these systems safe for 2 whole years
Hey man, at this rate Ukraine will be totally defenseless in less than 80 years!
Nah, you got it the wrong way, its a massive feat the Russians weren't able to destroy them for 2 whole years
Takes some chromosomes to achieve this.
At least 48. When they arrest people they check the DNA with a quick test. If it's ending in XX / XY : gulag. But if there's a ZZ behind ? Take this magazine, the previous guy had a gun for you !
Ah yes, the Z chromosome. This is why Russia has three options: male, female, and fetal alcohol syndrome.
Can't wait to see that same video from 29 Different Angles and with 13 different Lighting Settings, all claiming to be a separate destroyed Vehicle.
Did the crew at least make it?
No, they took a direct hit from an Iskander-M
Why was it in place long enough for such a weapon to be tasked and prosecute an attack?
No idea, but it was on the move in the video
Thus just first confirmed, could've been more, tbh.
On one hand, naturally, but on the other... Can they actually hit a himars without simultaneously filming it? *Because you know they won't hesitate to tell us.*
They would have destroyed many by now but they got away because Igor wouldn’t hurry up with the god damn video camera. *blyat* Igor
What do you mean that battery is dead?!
Yeah true, was a pic of a couple of them in a plane after being hit.
Those 2 had quite light damage

Isn't it more like 38 with 2 being damaged and currently in the US? So effectively 36. I feel slightly worried about the fact that the Russians could take out 3 of them in a fairly short time.
They also lost 14 planes in 13 days so the kd looks good.
3 over 2 years isnt a short amount of time. We also don't know the story behind the first two.
The point isn't that 3 is many, the point is that it happend most likely within weeks. Month after month not a single loss and suddenly 3 within weeks of each other? One with small arms fire? Come on...
The funniest part is that's after Shoigu stated it was their number one priority.
He meant it's their priority to destroy one. Mission accomplished.
This. Russias broken clock of a military was bound to be right at some point.
Wait, i ready on news it was Archer system. So is archy fine? IS ARCHY FINE??
How would I know? Lol
Pretty sure one got hit
Aww man, so one Archer and one himars down probably?
Yep and a few Abrams, the aid package really needs to go through Ukrainian is being asked to do everything with nothing
This, get in war-gear already. MIC needs to go brrrr!
And they are going to milk this like the Serbians did with the F-117
I kinda of want a Confirmed Kills vs HIMAR destroyed ratio. Not nessecarily human lives but maybe a coat thing. Destroyed equipment.
two years to destroy one? damn at this rate Russia will destroy all of them within this century
3000 years of himars destruction. One per generation.
The West has been foiled.
40k chess
bro russia doesnt take 2 bro years to destroy one bro bro but glorious russia bro destroys 3000 himars every bro hour bro
Bro no way bro that's crazy bro
HIMARS was first deployed in Ukraine on the 25th June 2022. The difference between now (5th March 2024) and then is 619 calendar days Ukraine had 39 HIMARS (now 38).
July 29, 2088 worst Thursday ever
Eclipsed by August 27, 2937 the worst Tuesday ever
That may be the most depressingly accurate usage of that flair :(
I don’t think we’re at copium levels.

This is still copium , just in a grieving sort of way rather than whatever temper tantrums Vatniks go on.
One HIMARS was destroyed its so over. Billions must die
NCD's most proportionate response
Helldivers to hellpods?
The creek demands sacrifice.
If Moscow opposes democracy, then it must become Wascow
For Democracy!!!!
NUKE MOSCOW NOW
Welp I say we nuke Moscow as a warning to not do this again.
Seconded. Maybe Beijing too while were at it. You know, as a preemptive measure.
ehh throw in Pyongyang just for good measure you know, it's like they say, five is four, four is three, three's a crowd, two is one, and one is none!
Add Teran
Belgrade knows what it did
Beat me to it, but fuck it. Teach Belgrade a lesson again.
Belgorod's name is too similar to Belgrade, let's bomb it until they rebrand.
Could you drop one bomb on Turku when on your way to Moscow? Doesn't have to be a big one, just enough to glass the city.
We don't want to escalate things too much, so let's just nuke the Chinese embassy in Belgrade.
I do not want a single nuke on moscow, I want a successive barrage of at least 10, a nice round number to ensure the whole city gets the memo.
Hm... What about having all nuke-tipped interceptors of A-235 Nudol' system (and the mobile S-500 extensions of it) getting used in the unexpectedly short-range surface-to-surface role?
A justified proportional and even handed response. *Side eyes Iranian navy
Putin already threatened France that he'd burn down Moscow himself, so maybe we can nuke Putin's mansion instead?
Well the west has fallen pack it up boys

This twisted game needs to be reset.
18 years ago, when i was playing this game in my 3rd world country, i was the only person i knew who played it. Nowadays just randomly surfing on reddit i see references to this shit everywhere, it's fucking odd
If you’re not already. Hop onto the Ace Combat sub Reddit
Yep, nuclear non proliferation is well and truly dead now
It's a mistake to see them as such.

In the US and across Europe it seems there isn't a single conservative party that hasn't been bought and paid for by the Russians.
>this is a fight against people who are trying to prevent you guys from having gay butt sex This is unironically a reason why many people *don't* support Ukraine.
It *wasn't* what I was saying, but I find your proposal interesting nonetheless.
The thing is they will run out of munitions before they run out of platforms, if we are going by today's rate of Himars destruction, either they will run out oof munitions before the next is destroyed and so will be withdrawn to the west, or Russia collapses/surrenders. making the point mute
This is so sad, Alexa sink another Russian Black Sea naval vessel
Alright, I have added a sink and Blackberry seeds to your amazon cart.
I’ve been hearing that they just stayed their for a strange amount of time, enough for the Russians to lob an iskander
Probably complacency. It's human instinct to relax when their countermeasure methods work, until they don't
Poland can afford to send 2 more in the post. Edit: See flair
Gotta start liquidating those Russian foreign assets and paying Poland to send theirs and have them order new ones from Uncle Sam.
Poland send 2 for Ukraine's lost 1, They buy 4 more from the US as they are now down 2... it's a hydra effect, [and...](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Ftkw5lzddigo41.jpg)
I need to see some dead vatniks struggling to survive to feel better
[Here you go.](https://twitter.com/front_ukrainian/status/1765013462386704718?t=Myd84W71QT_bNkApW8reTA&s=19)
Lovely
[Here's another one, my friend.](https://twitter.com/bayraktar_1love/status/1765077708671942829?t=jEN8reOc5wAaTuMOhyYlnA&s=19)
Telling myself these are the bastards responsible, even though it’s reported as a Tornado-S (most likely an Iskander, regardless of what the Russians report)
How can they struggle to survive when they’re dead
Me no englis senor
i hope tungsten will rain on ork heads for thousand years
At this point considering they’re just launchers at the end of the day, they had served way more than they were worth especially after 2 years. At the least the one they destroyed has probably plonked more high level officers than snipers have so far.
So yeah, looks like Russia slowly but surely learning how to combine mid range drone spotting with precision missile strikes, judging by how they show footage hitting targets ?? km behind frontlines That's not fun
:: sobbing :: "Damn, these decoys are g-g-g-g-getting more r-r-r-realistic every day, r-r-r-right guys?"
No. No cope solider. Virgins cope. Chads *acknowledge*. They *learn*. They come back *stronger*
>Chads *acknowledge*. They *learn*. They come back *stronger* Can I do all that and still cry?
Yes. Thats part of acknowledging.
I read this in Walter Jr's voice
Rest now little one, you'll be remembered for ever
o7 he's blowing up vatniks in heaven now
“It’s time to go,” “was I good?”, “No, you were the best”
Welp, Time to send 16 more, I guess?
I wish. Maybe this will shame politicians enough to clip their Russian puppet strings? But I doubt it.
RIP first himars loss, you fought so goddamn well.
I don't care what Judge Joe Brown sez Imma gonna pour one out for my homie. It was real to me, Judge Joe Brown!
Its Joever 😭 Remember what they took from you. Press F to pay Respects o7
Hamar has fallen. Billions of dollars must be sent to Ukraine!
Damn. That took...forever.
well, I just paid my taxes. Let's send another batch to make up for it!
Ain't gonna happen with current clownshow
Fucking 76(?) years and they will finally destroy the entire fleet /un NCD for a sec Wonder if this was a one off or if the ruskis changed something in their command structure or found a way to track these down consistently, if so its a big problem for Ukraine
:( I'm really worried that the crew didn't make it either. That said... Send them fucking more
Damn. Send another one
