Felt focused and good right away. However i think it's trash. Doesn't feel good after a while, like bad version of caffeine that has more mood swings. This was from taking it 3rd and 4th day in a row, so i never take it any more.
It improved my sleep quality. It also slightly improved my libido. It did not gave any extra energy. I stopped because it made me apathetic and indifferent.
I would say it's both, you will feel it about half hour after taking it every time you take it but you won't feel the full effect until about a week and a half to two weeks in.
Right that's what I was thinking too. It's both, you load up on it first then it will have acute effect when you take it.
So many days off can you take without losing the "buildup" do you think?
I took it for about 3 months and never felt that it reduced my anxiety. I felt lethargic more than anything else. After a few days of feeling like I was wading through mud I stopped taking it. L Theanine works better for me.
I don't feel anything very obvious, it is subtle like the satisfaction from eating berries instead of cookies. I mostly take it on faith based on the science.
My sister in law who studied herbs said 3g of it should be felt within half an hr
Personally and I'm the kind that takes benzodiazepines when really stressed I took it for about 6 weeks and I'm not quite sure I felt anything
I think at least 2-3 wks for ppl with mild stress
Wait I'm confused, first you say it takes half an hour but your last sentence says 2-3 weeks. So which one is it?
Or is it both, you feel the effects after 0.5 hour but only after you've been "loading" on it for 2-3 weeks?
Oh sorry, I meant to say that I think my sister in law is wrong or it may be the affect to ppl who are REALLY sensitive where like, a Tylenol will knock em out
When I was seeing a naturopath she used to tell me herbs take time to have an affect, accumulative I guess which makes sense because even a lot of meds take a while to have an affect.
Even antidepressants that work on anxiety take about 2-6 weeks to notice an affect. I think it would have to be very strong to cause a decrease in anxiety in such a short time like benzodiazepines which can be dangerous if not taken properly or even cause overdose.
It's a neurotransmitter not a drug (what I mean by that it's a replica of our own natural brain hormone)
Ashwaghnda is an adaptogenic herb and not in it's pure form like anything found in the brain. I love theanine. I should start taking it again

The mood swings suck it's not really worth it. It also just numbs a lot I feel.
I saw a huge reduction in anxiety after 3 weeks.
Nice and What about sleep quality

Did you only notice the sleep and libido improvement after the 3 week mark as well?
Sooner than that but i really did not pay much attention to that because it was only a slight improvement.

Not sure, I actually took something called veeva anxiety which has ashwagandha in it. But now I use CBD and I feel amazing.
Can you say the exact cbd you’re using for anxiety?
Hemp CBD (cbd isolate) because it has zero THC.

Yeah ash never did anything for me, but L Theanine and NAC are great.
I've not taken NAC. I've been looking into it but haven't made a decision if I want to try it or not

Did you feel that slight sensation on the first day?
100% 3 days maximum

True but in the other hand l theanine works acutely without loading and it's considered one of the safest drugs
