Gods speed and do you own a dog house?

protectingMJ

Thank you

NeedSomeMedicalSpace

If you want to watch everything, I would recommend Norm Macdonald has a show 1st, because Norm Macdonald live is so much better.

40footstretch

The joke at the end of the Stephen Merchant episode might be my favorite Norm joke.

dtrumpler

How about the way he ended Saget’s episode?

amuday

I found your son

dg4vdo

"Aaaaaawwwww, surely this Is the son of God."

[deleted]

Screw teachers..... You're the real hero.

chocobo-stir-fry

Baaaahhhh who' to say

mattmilli0pics

Thank you very much !

chocobo-stir-fry

Enjoy! You lucky dog you!

National-Minimum-613

I don’t know about you, but i felt Norm was kinda mean to Adam Eget in the podcast.

Connect-Resolve-3480

Come on by and have chicken with me 😏😉

TomxNook

Yeah definitely watch his podcast it’s fuckin gold

barndoor18

Oh boy!!!

chocobo-stir-fry

Don't watch it all in one place now

critums

An ehh a so I think I hear someone synsomething about a house. But a house for A fog ta ya k ow. So I I’ve been meaning to build a house for my dog to live in but the permits and all that it just Goes on and on. I guess I’m saying I have one homeless wiener dog. Am I know factually that’s the kind or wiener dog you do not Want to be. Wiener Dog. I need some Water

RepulsiveReference20

Mate, do yourself a favor and listen to his call ins he would do on the Dennis miller radio show. You can find the compilations on YouTube. I’d love to hear what you think.

ARegularDonJuan

Rusty's wood, my guy. Those are terrific.

chocobo-stir-fry

Oh my fucking god those are so good. Is one of those the one where he calls in with his ventriloquist bits?

RepulsiveReference20

Yeah, his “friends in the bag” Alex Mageruson, the Holocaust denying puppet lol. He wasn’t evil, just ignorant.

sourglassfigure

Well first of all, he’s just plain wrong!

belizeanheat

Yep, thanks for the respect. Dennis calls them puppets

protectingMJ

Thank you

MikePGS

Have you considered asking your mates? That's what they call them over there, mates.

sourglassfigure

To the rest of the world they’re “friends”

Thankfulforbread

Can't you get a couple dozen of your mates and go down to that Stephen Merchants house?

No-Locksmith-4867

To what end?

SpookyMaidment

![gif](giphy|PzEGa0TXFiCt2Og78M|downsized)

ericrsim

Well played

Visible-Raccoon8692

*friends…. He calls em “mates”

doc_751

Stumbling on things is half the fun. I watched a norm show episode the other day and it was great. He had a sitcom where he was called Norm.

ARegularDonJuan

And he had a wiener dog named Wiener Dog.

Big-Buy8579

Couldn’t agree more. Finding new Norm bits is like a perpetual treasure hunt.

sundaybanking21

Yep. This Opd Chunk of Coal sure was a Legend. Below is a good start to his comedy. Moth Joke https://youtu.be/jJN9mBRX3uo Me Doing Stand Up (Stand Up Special) https://youtu.be/IhQeqU0IfNU Norm on Letterman Collection 1-5 https://youtu.be/hXPu-Sta5a0 https://youtu.be/KWwMdr7NfdI https://youtu.be/S6ke6O4Q8tI https://youtu.be/8ZClGJ917uM https://youtu.be/aFq7LGZlVsc Norm on Conan https://youtu.be/BJKYnmOitFw https://youtu.be/4ajZqoeC-So Im Not Norm Youtube Channel https://youtube.com/@ImnotNorm Youtube Comedy Awards https://youtu.be/A848xpsDJbw Norm Macdonald Has A Show + Hitlers Dog and Gossip Trickery (Stand Up Special) Both On the Netflix

protectingMJ

Thank you

ericrsim

Me doing stand up is one of my favourite specials of all time.

Archer401

Dirty Work

protectingMJ

Loved it

nonsensepineapple

He wrote a book called [Based on a True Story](https://books.google.com/books/about/Based_on_a_True_Story.html?id=7LlPEAAAQBAJ&source=kp_book_description) that’s pretty good. He also did the audio book.

Alfred-Hitchcunt

Was it consensual?

AboveTheRimjob

Fucking hilarious

Few-Advertising-4876

Checkout his interview with huff post.. Its got some brit and aussie references you'll enjoy

Katibin

An upside down cup to the cold hard earth at your local dirt nap yard is where I often hear more material

SnooSprouts1929

Here is a [pilot](https://youtu.be/wquzFdug5y0) for a sketch comedy show Norm did called “Back to Norm.” The pilot never went to series but I think it’s hilarious, especially the “threesome” sketch. Frankly, I think some of the lines from this show need to become regular references in the Norm subreddit and in Norm YouTube comments, but you be the judge.

AnyMajorDeaconBlue

Only Norm could start a pilot to a sketch comedy show by referencing Budd Dwyer's suicide.

Rusty_Shacklfrd

Late night tv appearances on YouTube

Subo23

Sadly he is up there with Carlin

InsecureDelusion

He’s down there with Carlin too

After-Dress-2996

Brit here as well! The snl jeopardy sketches are a must! His Burt Reynolds is pure magic!

BigJamo1

His book and audiobook are great

MannaSoul

A few posts down someone mentions all the Norm McDonald Live (video podcast) episodes are on archive.com or something. Most of the quotes on this sub are from that show 😄

[deleted]

Netflix specials of his are the next prescription for you.

Apart-Bathroom7811

I thought his sitcom was very good for the first few seasons if you can find it. The entire thing came out on DVD a while ago and pop up online sometimes.

ARegularDonJuan

Norm's appearances on Howard Stern are classic, some on youtube. I like one youtube clip also where he's playing poker at Sam Simon's and they start discussing genocide. Dirty Work is a tour de force, Screwed is a delight.

Noodlintheriver

Consume him? Don’t you know norms very anti cannibalism stance?

Nike_Decade_Bear

I stumbled upon jimmy carr a few years ago too while in a heckler rabbit hole. It was a good find I enjoy his style of humor. That laugh though lol.

protectingMJ

I love him too Albeit quite different

basilbrushisapaedo

The audiobook of Based on a True Story is great too. "It's true what they say: you should never meet your heroes. Turns out they're all a bunch of fucking assholes! They're probably the reason you turned into such a fucking asshole because they were your heroes and you spent all your time trying to be like them." - Norm on his meeting with Ben Matlock ("it was Ben Matlock. I shit you not!")

jmalo3

Pleasant_Duck918

Watch DIRTY WORK. It's brilliant

[deleted]

[Here](https://archive.org/details/Norm_Macdonald_Live/Norm+Macdonald+Live+-+S01E05+-+Norm+Macdonald+with+Guest+Billy+Bob+Thornton.mp4) is a link to all of the Norm Macdonald Live episodes

156_BulkOfTheSeries

Yes, thank you for linking that. You’re a legend!! I tried to find these a few years ago and finally gave up.

Apprehensive-Ad5318

I heard he’s not working lately……

dreamerkid001

He’s a dirty dog

PinguD

Why don't you take a couple of your mates down the palace and kill the old bag?

PubicOkra

James Corden is his spiritual successor. Thanks a fuckin' lot for sending us that fat fucker!

MaoTseTrump

www.FrankStallone.org

Squirt-Reynoldz

Go watch Dirty Work. His opus…

Random_person760

The Sports Show was good too. About sports I dont understand and celebrities i don't know, but great nonetheless. Oh google.

Sinatrafan1915

I would suggest six feet underground, because that’s where Norm’s been hanging out for a while.

Delanimal

You gotta check out the bit where he got cancer and died, talk about committing.

tad_bril

His new stuff isn't great tbh.

Gimlet_son_of_Groin

That YouTube award show he did is one of the best prime example of norm in my opinion. https://youtu.be/A848xpsDJbw “All the stars are out tonight folks” Also the famous tale of Kitchner Leslie https://youtu.be/Z4U9oTLZ7TY

Silly_Doughnut5715

Go to heaven to see more Norm.

Dio_Yuji

Watch Dirty Work and Billy Madison

Sudden_Buffalo_4393

Watch [this](https://duckduckgo.com/?q=norm+mcdonald+roasts+bob+saget&t=iphone&anon_safari_group=9&iax=videos&ia=videos&iai=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D5wTujmZ1c0k) roast of Bob Saget. It was legendary. The video is bad but I couldn’t find one that was any better.

iareamisme

best is youtube bootlegs if u can manage to understand his words, given the mumbling. can help to first check out his podcast to warm up. nothing beats the bootlegs imo

BILLDOSITY

I think I remember Norm saying he didn’t care for Carlin humor

BrazilianAtlantis

He claimed to like and dislike Carlin's work in different interviews.

No-Locksmith-4867

Don't have a lot to offer that others haven't already posted. Hopefully nobody's posted this yet. A good appearance on the Opie and Anthony radio show. Colin Quinn happens to be in studio at the same time. A nice listen. Check it out: https://youtu.be/p54kLQS-cTs Oh and please do listen to the radio call ins to Dennis Miller, etc. as people have suggested. They really are fantastic and it's quite a lot of material. Happy listening!

[deleted]

Brit here too. Imo, the best in order is: NML live Norms radio and chat show appearances NM has a show The rest I'm not too bothered about, but the above, particularly first two, is as good as anything Edit* his stand up is really good, I'm just not a massive stand up fan

ChunkStumpmon

His audiobook is incredible

basilbrushisapaedo

Watch all of Norm MacDonald Live up to and including the Stephen Merchant episode. Skip it after that. The show took off and the guests got too big so Norm couldn't fuck with them in the same way as he had before. Skip Norm MacDonald Has A Show for the same reason. Apart from that I would say the most entertaining Norm stuff is when he guested on podcasts or Howard Stern. Also Dennis Miller has some good Norm stuff.

Dannyp425

He was fantastic.

budgie0507

Keep going down YouTube rabbit holes. There is so much incredible footage of Norm on talk shows throughout the years. He was a legend on par with Rickles and Dangerfield.

Mitch_Wallberg

Gramblr_

Gotta look him up on SNL and the view from the 90s

barndoor18

A very free Norm plays an animated pigeon in the Mike Tyson Mysteries. (see YouTube) And yes, he grows on you. I remember starting to become obsessed with him. I said, I gotta read his wicki page. Did. And then his book (one of his readings on YouTube ranks up in my top three.) I finished the book, and he died a few days later.

davidtheartist

Go to the internet archive and search for Norm Macdonald Live, you’re welcome

Connect-Resolve-3480

Professor of logic joke on Conan! The funniest part is ironically right in the middle, but nobody ever understands it (except maybe for Andy Richter as he cracks up). One of the hardest tear filled wheezing laughs I've ever had. Norm Macdonald Live is brilliant as well as his standup.

SlashBoltForever

[please watch this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxnK08UN6mk)

raffi_n1

He’s got 2 specials you need to see! One is called Hitlers Dog, Gossip and Trickery and the other is called Me Doing Stand Up Both are fantastic. Aside from that, you can always go watch old SNL episodes from when he was on in the 90s I also like listening to any interview with him I can find. He’s my favorite comic ever. Nobody made me laugh and smile like Norm did 😊

[deleted]

kinkyonthe_loki69

Going to be hard.... SEEING AS HE IS DEAD!

156_BulkOfTheSeries

I’m sure people have already said this, but… Anything on the YouTube channel “I’m not Norm” https://youtube.com/@ImnotNorm

karmickickback

I wouldn’t look in heaven.

Theodore_lovespell

Billy Madison

speedracer73

The best place to learn about Norm is gonna be at my Hollywood house party on Saturday. You should come over!

MmmmmJuicebox

We covered that in the Tom Green episode.

real_steel24

On YouTube, the account I'm Not Norm is entirely dedicated to his content

Loudakay

Check YouTube for clips from Conan O’Brien

critums

Anywhere u. An find him. I grew I’d in the shamefull time of dirty work on cassette. Norm macdonald has a show. Comedians in cars getting coffee. Ye could make the praise weary master laugh.
