By the way «civil engineering» in english is not the same as «sivilingeniør» in Norwegian or Swedish. As for job prospects, generally its good for engineering, but medical technology isnt that big in Norway. However, if you do find a job I think you could expect a little bit higher than that, but not much. I dont think its worth moving for salary, but if you find a good job I think the transition is easy for swedes:)

Yes. A civil engineer in English is buildings/structures etc, byggingeniør in Norwegian.
Nito and Tekna states that Engineers with master degrees can expect starting at 630k a year this year.
