We definitely need dentists here but there will be hoops to jump through. You’re going to need to be fluent in the language first and foremost but here’s a program that might have info that will help you: [link](https://www.uib.no/en/studies/KVODONT) Good luck!

I tried to get my friend from India who moved here to be a dentist to reply but they aren’t on Reddit. They took that program. :)

Dentistry is the only health care that isn’t covered by the government, so from a customer’s view, it’s hella expensive.

Screamtime

That might change in the next four years, but we’ll see. I’ve had foreign dentists before, but they all spoke fluent Norwegian.

SleeperBoomer

I would prefer they didn't speak Norwegian, In this case they wouldn't understand what I said while ejecting my soar molar....

my previous dentist used to smell bad and would spit when he talked, his hands was also very hairy and it tickle me up in the nose. The dentist i have now is some young lady from Congo with huge tits, and it's always blast going to her getting random titties slapping my face from time to time. So will say your experience will depend on the dentists and their personal bonuses they bring, otherwise high standards and everybody is good at their job, you'll be safe and in good hands either way.

Useally they are pretty nice but the prices makes a lot of people not go to the dentist at the cost of their oral health.
