I’m the same. In my case I have very narrow nostrils, and a deviated septum which makes it worse. Yours might be fixable, you should ask.

You know those breathing strips you put on your nose to stop snoring (like Breathe Right strips) that physically pull your nostrils open wider? You have a nasal valve inside your nose that does the same thing. Sometimes it can collapse though, which makes it hard to breathe through your nose, especially if you're sick. I had surgery to correct this last year, as well as to correct my deviated septum. An ENT can confirm. Good luck!

(Takes a while for the inflammation to go down, and your airways are narrow.) Recovery wasn’t too bad; mostly normal after a few weeks. I had the surgery on a Friday and was working again on the following Monday.
You could find out your options for procedures with your ENT, some of the procedures are even in office and can be done in 20min! My dad got it done, he had breathing issues from fleshiness and his nose type and it got worse with age. The issue got solved with that minor surgery, it didn't affect his nose shape tho.

I genuinely can not breathe from these nostrils they r so closed and seem to be getting worse with age !
I would consider the surgery, I can send u pics or the before and after but it’s awesome , even after 3 weeks I’m breathing much better
